You know I love the socks as Tinkerbell is my favorite! What is it about buying the little travel size things that make us get all giddy?

Ya'll's date night sounds like our's.....if we ever get to go somewhere without Hunter. I think the last time we went somewhere by ourselves, we went to WalMart and Big Lots. Woo hoo! Big time partiers we are.

The fried ice cream looks so good. I am allergic to milk so I don't eat ice cream very often. I get headaches and nose bleeds if I eat too many milk products.

on ya'll getting to stay in Disney another day. Have you looked into finding a hotel somewhere on Hwy. 192? I think I'd much rather stay there than on I-4. Hate that driving in Orlando.

I was so happy that Target had the Tink socks. The pair I bought last year is starting to wear thin .

Yeah date time around here usually is spent at Walmart or some store, buying groceries.........

The ice cream is good. I had to google how they make it and it was interesting. Bless your heart, it must be hard to avoid milk products. They use milk in so much. I have to be careful for Dallas because of his peanut allergy. Last time he came into contact with something with peanut oil or traces of peanuts(not sure which because it was a plain donut) he almost had an anaphylactic reaction. Now I carry an epi pen and benadryl with me.


I did find something on 192. I am going to talk to Dale about Chris' birthday and I may change it. I don't like I-4 either .

Look closer to the Space center, like on US1, Melbourne is a little far away from us, we're closest to titusville, and the space center. So, right off I 95 on highway 50 there's a couple of hotels, and they're like 5-10 minutes away. Not sure of the prices, but for one night, it might not be TOO bad. But that's what's closest to us....so ya know. Haven't uploaded pics yet, been rearranging the living room. That's been a job!! Plus I'm not feeling too good today, not sure what the heck is going on with me!! Anyways, have fun at work again, and I'll talk to you later!

Since we are going to be heading down a day early I needed to find us a room for May 22nd. I didn't want to add the day to our CBR ressie because it would have cost much more than I wanted to pay for one night. I would have to add the extra day on the DDP and it would have cost about $300 for the room and DDP. I got a room for $75.00. We are going to stay at the Comfort Suites at Old Town. We have stayed there before and it is a nice place.

There is a Flipper's Pizza next door so that will make Dallas very happy . We stayed at this Comfort Suites in 2003 and from our window we could see Wishes. They have a free breakfast so that will be a plus too. These plans can change if we get to go to Christie's for Chris' birthday party.

Thanks Leanne . We enjoyed it when we stayed there last time, so I hope it will still be as good. I always check on TripAdvisor to see what the most recent reviews of a hotel are and it seems to still get good reviews. I remember they had awesome waffles at the breakfast .

Glad you were able to find a good hotel to stay in the night of your arrival. Throw in the good price and Flipper's pizza and you've officially scored in my book. Since it's around the Old Town area, it won't take ya'll long at all to get to Disney World the next day which is another plus.

John said we should try and add in another day to our vacation but I don't think I could do that to my boss. It's hard for me to take the week and two days as it is.

I'm so glad we get to go down a day early, I was hoping I would get off so we could. The Comfort Suites is nice and it will be good for one night.


I went back to my Target today and they didn't have anything new. I will keep checking though, they usually have new stuff once a week. I bet if you ask Mike to run to the store and pick up some ummmmmmmmmm lady stuff, he will be more than happy to let you go .

Thanks Lisa. When we stayed there before it was new. We enjoyed the breakfast because we didn't have to pay for breakfast the whole time we were there. Flipper's was the selling point though........ Dallas has to have it every time we go down.

I know it is hard to take more time off work. Dale won't take more time off either and that is why I am glad I was able to get the time off.

I finally made it to Micheal's today and this is what I got.

The Toy Story pouch is for Dallas to keep his DS games in and I got one of each of the lanyards they had. I just couldn't pass them up for $1 each. I tried to find a Princess Tiana lanyard, but they didn't have any. I looked in the dollar bins at my Target today and they didn't have anything new. They did have all the Mardi Gras stuff 90% off, but I threw away a whole bag of Mardi Gras beads today.

I have to work the next two days. I hope everybody has a good week .

At Christmas our local Michael's had all sorts of Disney stuff. Now, not so much. I really like your idea of the pouch to put the Nintendo DS games in. May have to get one for Hunter. You also reminded me that I bought a couple of lanyards from Claire's years ago but we never did use. I think I'll go dig around in my miscellaneous box and see what I can find.

Leanne, I would love to run to Michael's and pick up a couple of lanyards and pouches for the girls. I saw Tink pouches but don't know if they had any others. I am off Thursday and I will run back over there and see what they have .
