Hi Cherie! Dad is doing great - even started driving again this week! Hair loss has subsided so he has thinned but didn't lose it completely. Round 3 of chemo starts next week but if it goes like the others, shouldn't be too bad. Hopefully it all is successful but we'll just keep praying!

You are SO funny.... well, Erin isn't quite as "cutesy" as before - partly b/c her loss of teeth and them growing back in in odd positions... also new haircut is more grown up than little girl... and sometimes her silly faces look a little scary (she likes freaking me out by pulling down her lower eyelids - eek ). Hee hee. I'm sure someday they'll be in that weird in-between adolescent stage... and I'm sure we'll still be DISing so you'll see them again. Ha ha.

Not to mention the girlfriend goes to UT already and knows how to keep him in line, she's hardcore about getting good grades. She's also hard core about getting through school before making future plans, hope that lasts out, they are already talking marriage.

Jordy, I have to say the land part would work for me, I don't do well on boats, and I would be concerned about the money going into it. With that in mind I would love to do a 8-9 day trip staying at the POP. If Amanda (Pipersmom) can swing it, she's talked about trying to come as well. I'm pretty sure she would only do the land portion. Wouldn't that be a hoot having a lot of peeps in the POP!
Besides it will be my year of turning 40! So it's will be a celebration for me as well. Let's see, that's You, Rosie, her friend Christina (hope I got that right) and I can't remember what other wonderful Diser said it was their birthday? This will be a celebration to beat all other celebrations!! Would love to be a west coaster just to fly in with Leisa, Cynthia, and Cherie....I know I'm leaving someone off of here...Terry's wife! Sorry I forgot your name. I know you live in Oregon, does that count for anything?!? That would be one heck of a flight, we would be banned for sure from the airline, after that flight.

I am not sure if I am wonderful but it is my bday during that time I may be up for staying at POP with the girls and using the points for the cruise.

When my grandma went through chemo she wasn't worried about being bald but she was outraged that her "carpet" (I'm not sure if I can use the word pubic?) fell out.
She informed her dr that he should warn people about that. My aunt who was taking care of her, was so embarassed .

Chapter 4. A little 2012 poll.

I can't believe I am NOT going to WDW for 2 years or over 2 years!!!!

That said, I think PeepFest 2012 will be a blast and fun for all. Wendy and I were discussing the trip already this morning. I was just doing some price checking for cruises. It's not so bad for someone going solo, but for someone with a family, the prices are pretty expensive IF you factor in a WDW trip as well. So we did a little discussing about possible combinations.

I'd like to get a little poll going about different combinations or what really people would be most interested in. Time of year is pretty set for mid to late June as West Coast schools don't get out until mid-June. So get ready for the Hot, Sweaty Asian to return.

What is PeepFest 2012? Well if you haven't heard already, I will be turning 50 in 2012. Yes, 50. I certainly don't feel my age, but I do remember the 1960s so it's hard to deny my physical age. I want to do a blowout celebration and invite as many interested friends along for the ride. Many of my church friends will also be celebrating their 50th birthdays that year so many are already on board for PeepFest, although they have no idea that's it called PeepFest.

Where will PeepFest take place? At WDW silly-my favorite vacation destination. However, there's also a strong possibility of doing a week on land and then a week on theDisney Cruiseline!!!!! That would be my ultimate vacation. For the WDW portion, I do plan on splurging and getting a one bedroom at either BWV or BCV. That way we'll have a base of operation and somewhere to meet up and hangout.

Questions to all you in DIS land:

Would you do both land/sea?

Prefer land?

Prefer sea?

Can't do June?

Would do land/sea if sea was only 3-4 days?

If there are only a handful of cruise "yes" folks out there, I MAY abandon the cruise or do a 3-4 day instead. As it stands today, here's my itinerary (come on, you thought I didn't have one started already????!!!!!!)

VERY TENTATIVE PLANS:

Option 1:

WDW: June 15th-June 23rdish
DCL: June 23rdish-July 1stish
WDW: July 1st-5th.

Option 2:

WDW: June 15th-Jun 24th
DCL: June 24th-June 28th
WDW: June 28th-July 3rd.

Option 3
WDW: June 15th-July 1st
8 nights at BCV or BWV
8 nights at Pop

I'm not a for sure for Peepfest, but I'm certainly a "want to" I would be doing just the land portion and it would probably be me and Maddie - DH would stay home. All those June dates are late enough for Maddie to be out of school

Sooooooooooooo I spent all of Sunday in my PJ's on the laptop reading the 2008 Pre-TR and TR...and I had to read every page to get all the funny stories and comments.

Now, I'm scheduling from 5pm-10pm nightly and all day Sat and Sun to catch up on the 2009 trip! hmm, I think I have becoming addicted to Jordy.

I think you guys are a hoot! and have loved reading all the funnisms and seeing the great pics thus far..and I'm now thinking I can never write a Pre-Tr or TR cause it just won't be as good. Love you Guys!

By the way, nice to meet you as I have been lurking on your pages and hadn't said HI yet.!.

Of course you can write A TR!!!!None of us hope to RIVAL Jordans in length but we have found alot of the same followers on all 4 of our TRs !!Even though we spent so much time together we each have our own memories and pix !!! Just ask Winkers or maybe I should just plaster DJ all over everyones .. Whatta you guys think!!!

We decided to forgo the MK and head to Epcot first. We hopped on the monorail. Cherie was drawn to every pole she saw. If you look carefully, her leg is trying to get around the pole.....

What's sad is that she probably didn't even "pose" this picture. She thought she was just taking a nice, regular old picture, and here you go making pole jokes!

We switched monorails at the TTC. We were glad we decided against the MK, look at the line just to get on the monorail:

Sooo...I pitched the idea to Lumar tonight about a possible trip in February (or March) 2012 for HIS birthday which is March 6. He totally went with it! Imagine my surprise when I find out that you guys will happen to be there as well, having a mini-peepfest? That last week of Feb. would be awesome. We would go for just a week instead of our normal 10-day routine but it would be a fun time and we should still be able to go back in October for our usual run. Looks like it's a go at this point!

Ok, I had the weirdest dream last night. I was getting ready for a Disney trip and reading a travel book. Ok, not so weird so far. I start reading and realize the book is your TR! Each up date was a different color and the emoticons weren't smiley faces they were marshmellow peeps!
