When my grandma went through chemo she wasn't worried about being bald but she was outraged that her "carpet" (I'm not sure if I can use the word pubic?) fell out.
She informed her dr that he should warn people about that. My aunt who was taking care of her, was so embarassed .

I haven't got the foggiest clue what I'm doing in 2012 but I would try to make it for part of the land portion, even if I'm solo. Which means my Texas sista and family could come up to Dallas and fly with me where it's cheaper! I promise to behave.

I would love it if we flew together and I would love to come up there and fly with you!! It would actually be just you and I sista! The kiddos and DH would be missing out on this one, if anyone actually ends up going it would be my daughter, but I'm pretty sure it will be me alone. And I hope you wouldn't behave yourself, it's an adults trip!!

I found Rosies TR ... then Winkers...then Blues and obviously then had to go to Jordy's!

Sooooooooooooo I spent all of Sunday in my PJ's on the laptop reading the 2008 Pre-TR and TR...and I had to read every page to get all the funny stories and comments.

Now, I'm scheduling from 5pm-10pm nightly and all day Sat and Sun to catch up on the 2009 trip! hmm, I think I have becoming addicted to Jordy.

Of course you can write A TR!!!!None of us hope to RIVAL Jordans in length but we have found alot of the same followers on all 4 of our TRs !!Even though we spent so much time together we each have our own memories and pix !!! Just ask Winkers or maybe I should just plaster DJ all over everyones .. Whatta you guys think!!!

Millie, ummmm..... you could meet us at MCO and we could at least get an ME ride in together. I mean best of all world's you coudl hop to Portland, then fly with us. But that'd add a lot of cashola that might be better spent on Lapus.

Maybe we would be able to meet at ME! That would be one heck of a ride to the POP! The bus driver would expect a big ol' fat tip after dealing with us for 30 mins.!! And yes, money spent on Lapu Lapu's might be a better way to spend.

So, I am one of the choir directors at the elementary school where I teach. We have a 3rd/4th grade choir, so many of the songs we sing are 'cutsie', not quite legitimate repertoire.

Yesterday, we were singing through some potential spring selections. We turned the page of the songbook and I laughed out loud when I saw the title:

"These are My Peeps"


The song is AWESOME... all about my peeps who hang out with me and make my day fun. (Of course, it's referencing the Easter candy treat, but who cares.. I wasn't even thinking of those!)

I'm going to bring my camera to the next rehearsal and get a video of it so y'all can hear it. It is a perfect song for Peepfest 2012!

PeepFest2012. It looks like it will be Option 2. The dates may change a bit, but it'll probably be WDW/4-day DCL/WDW. HOWEVER, I know that there are several of you that can't make the June Dates. Soooo.....to accommodate everyone, I have added extra dates. I will probably make a short trip to WDW around my actual birthday in February. It'll probably just be 4-5 days total and only if enough people can go (4-5 families or individuals would probably make it worth it). Would anyone be interested in those dates. Feb 22-27th ish.

Now we're talking. February would be a defnite for us. Especially for a shorter trip.

Sorry I'm a little behind. I miss one day at work and you guys go and add 20 some pages...

uggh, I hate jury duty! I seem to be graced with the invitation to be a jurer (is that a word?) more often than anyone else I know. D.Jay hasn't had to the entire 17 years we've been married, I think my last count was 7.

It is a word, but it's "juror".... I've been on one case and called just a handful of times. Not that often to be horrible... maybe D.Jay is running from the law and hasn't registered to vote or with the DMV... that's how they get us over here... and if you're on both, you're on two lists... maybe you're on a whole bunch of lists so that's why you're called so much...

it's because they know you are so just and will uphold the law with dignity and winker-ism-ness.

i've been called 4 times and i'm only 33 years old. ray's never been called. go figure.

now you guys know what it's like to sit in a courtroom all day.....stinks, doesn't it!???!!!?? okay, i will admit, jury duty is way more boring than being a court reporter. i get to see it all from the crazy pleas to the temporary protective orders that we dub "the jerry springer show." what you guys get to see (if anything) is very polished and censored, for the most part.

wendy - hope you get dismissed from jury duty soon!
