I got a kick out of Jim telling Alexis that she could go on the trip because he was "comfortable" with the group of ladies going. Oh please!

Lynn is and will always be in "La La" land. I can't believe that she would even begin to think she could buy something that expensive on the shopping trip. I think that was a "flip off" to Frank. I think that's why Frank has been looking so haggard and or stoned on the show. He knew the end was quickly approaching and he was going to be found out. Just wonder how they were able to pay for the plastic surgery as insurance does not cover that and most doctors want money up front.

I think that Alexis went on the trip to SFO with the idea of stirring the pot. She is out for Vicki now. She is not going to rest until she is one up on her. This should be interesting.

In watching the re-run of the dinner party at Lynn's house, it is obvious that Tamra was pushing for Vicki and Simon to interact. Her downfall was that she kept it up all night and it blew up in her face. She won't leave well enough alone!

This is The Curtins FOURTH EVICTION in a year. They have lived in Laguna Beach, Capistrano Beach and currently Aliso Viejo.

Now I know why Raquel was giving the cameraman the finger and Alexa was swearing under her blanket....they are so embarassed, like anyone would be.


O.C. ‘Housewife’ Lynne Curtin gets FOURTH eviction notice

Just when you thought it couldn’t get any worse for Lynne Curtin of “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” it has.

It turns out that Lynne and her husband Frank Curtin received their THIRD eviction notice in less than a year at their Aliso Viejo home back in October, according to court documents and Radaronline.com.

[Update: An attorney for the landlord says this eviction was stopped after the Curtins paid the rent owed last month. Also, this is actually the fourth eviction notice the Curtins have received in the past few years. Court records show that in 2007, property owner Mercury Manzano filed a California Superior Court complaint against the Curtins after they failed to pay rent. A 3-day to pay, 30-day to move notice was issued at the start of that case, according to Manzano's attorney.]

You may recall that the Curtins were evicted from their Laguna Beach home in early September. Prior to that, they were evicted from their Capistrano Beach home in May 2009.

It is not known whether the Curtins actually moved out after receiving their fourth eviction notice. You can view court documents here, which detail the plaintiff Jacalyn Robbins’ complaint that the Curtins did not pay the first month’s rent, which was $2,595.

On Sept. 11, 2009, days after they were evicted the third time, the Curtins agreed to pay $2,595 per month in a one-year lease at the Robbins’ Aliso Viejo property. When they failed to pay, a 3-day notice to pay rent or quit was posted on their premises on Oct. 2. They still hadn’t paid by Oct. 5, according to court documents.

A legal complaint was filed at Harbor Justice Center in Laguna Hills on Oct. 16. Robbins’ lawyer is Steven D. Silverstein of Tustin. He did not return a phone call placed at the time of this report.

Much of this season has documented Lynne’s adventures getting plastic surgery around her neck and face, as well as her efforts in selling handmade cuffs. Her daughter Raquel also got a nose job as a 19th birthday present.

In the intro to “Real Housewives,” Lynne states, “It’s not how much money you have, it’s how good you look spending it.”

I miss Jeana. I really *really* do. She's practically the only one of the women that I can imagine sitting down and chatting with. I have to laugh at what Vicki and her used-to-be minion Tamraaaaaaa said. Now that Jeana's gone, the woman that those two said was "toxic", why is there any drama?

I seem to remember Vicki saying with Jeana gone, things would be so much better on the show.

Ain't quite working out that way. Hmmmm...I don't ever remember Jeana attacking Vicki the way Simon and everyone else did at Lynne (just call me "Miss Eviction"!) party. Those people were pretty much awful. As someone else said, who woulda thunk it, that VICKI would seem to be the most reasonable person of the cast?... and also that I actually feel sorry for her this season. Miss DuckDuckQuackQuack will not rest until Vicki is destroyed.

Vicki wrote in her blog that the lumps have come back and that I think she wrote that Brianna was going to have surgery again this month. Poor girl. I feel bad for her, she seems like a sweet girl and she has been through a lot the past year, getting dumped by the boy she thought she was going to marry and now this and on top of it all having Vicki as a mom. I know vicki loves her but her thought was of work? Come on!

I don't blame Vicki for her initial reaction. I think it was the editing, too. She heard when Brianna's surgery was, knew that she wanted to be there and started thinking about her calendar and what she needed to clear from it. I would think that is typical of any executive who has to rearrange his/her calendar. Vicki's only problem is that she said it out loud.

I agree with you on the Vicki part. Atfirst I thought oh great Vicki being a jerk but then when I thought about it, my hubby does the same thing, he starts spouting off his schedule tyo see where conflict are and what he has to cancel. I think that is what Vicki was doing, i a state of shock and trying to figure out how best to rearrange her business schedule so she could be there for Brianna.

I too would have never thought that Vicki would be my favorite housewife, but she is the only one with her head screwed on half right this season.

there was an article awhile back where lynn's neighbors were interviewed, and they were livid that the property owner had gone unpaid while lynn and the daughter were getting costly plastic surgery.

it could be that the surgery was paid for with a credit card, or a line of credit-depending on the situation with an individual landlord, failure to pay rent might not be reflect on someone's credit report.

What a stand-up kinda guy! Guess he really is trying to latch on to Gretchen for the money and fame. Bet he runs when he finally figures out she didn't get any money from Jeff, if that really is the case.

A few years ago I was watching a behind the scenes thing on The Real World. The cast would say if they were saying something they didn't want aired or doing something they didn't want shown they would just flip off the camera the whole time because apparently it costs a lot of money to blur out the finger or the editors didn't have time to edit it before showing it. But I think Raquel was just being a brat (and honestly, why are they showing so much of these stupid kids?? I can watch The Hills if I want to see this nonsense with worthless girls). Seriously, that girl needs a job!

I can't stand Raquel. She's got to be in her early 20s. I was a mother at that age. Grow up!

I was SO annoyed at Alexis' constant phone calls during dinner. You are at one of the finest restaurants in the USA, with one of the best chefs in the world and you are taking calls constantly about non-issues with your hubby and kids. I was insulted on Hubert Keller's behalf - but that's because I have such a crush on him. He doesn't deserve such a twit eating in his restaurant and spitting out his food and she doesn't deserve to eat there!! Come on, grow up already! And, I can understand not turning your cell off completely - my DH and I both have elderly parents with severe health conditions as well as a child at home. But, in a restaurant like that, you put your phone on vibrate in the case of EMERGENCY and then excuse yourself to leave the table to walk out of the restaurant to take your call. You don't keep answering your phone on such drivel. Okay - my rant is over.

Wait - not quite - can she please stop calling him "Baby" all the time. It turns my stomach.

Edited to add: Vicki's texting at lunch did not bother me as much since 1) it was a fairly informal restaurant; 2) it was for work and 3) since it was texting it was silent - less bothersome to those around you!

In the first couple scenes with Lynne last night she seemed stoned or medicated, whatever you term prefer. Her speech was very slow and garbled, almost like her tongue was thick or stuck to the roof of her mouth. At the park she told her husband "I'm not going to be able to get over this" and then she stormed off saying "I'm so over this!". Well, which one is it? Her arguments were not coherent.

Good point. I wonder what she is on. I think she must abuse prescription pills. I really do.

This perplexes me more than just *why* is she with Slade....Gretchen obviously has had her life touched by cancer, whether you believe she loved Jeff or not. She was crying to Brianna about how she was worried for her and all that. Once you've lost someone so horribly, you're just different. So HOW in the world can she be ok with her boyfriend's son having cancer and him not being supportive in any way?

And I just have to say, the guy creeps me out, there's just something off about him. I get the same kind of vibe from DimJim. Donn's the only one of the guys I've seen on the show that I think might be nice to have a conversation with. All the other guys if I were in the same room?... I feel like I'd need to either disinfect myself (DimJim, Simon, Slade) or get myself drug-tested(Frank).

There is a local plastic surgeon who uses his wife in his commercials. She looked awful when he started running these commercials and she looks even worse now. Every time I see that ad, I think to myself, "if I ever need any cosmetic surgery, I surely won't be going there."

You have to understand, though, that my need for cosmetic surgery would come from a disfiguring accident and not just because I want to look like Joan Rivers or Daisy Duck.
