~ The Real Housewives of Orange County ~ Season 12~ 2017 ~ JULY 10th

He runs the Free Chapel Church there. Apparently it is still there and they also have another chapter in Orange County. www.freechapel.org

That church was known around town as a cult. They would talk in tounges and all kinds of wierd stuff.

I live in the OC. I live in the city next to IRVINE where the church is...all I know is that every time they have a service, and we are driving by, there are THOUSANDS and I mean THOUSANDS of cars in that parking lot. I really do not think its a cult. I am not defending Ducky and her church at all. BUT really, the church is HUGE to begin with, you cannot help noticing it AND then when they have services, they must attract the MAJORITY of the OC!!!

I have not seen last night's epi yet...probably later today. :happytv:

I just felt plain sorry for the people sitting at the next tables in the restaurant! Ladies arguing and crying then praying! I do agree with Vicki..this show is just not as fun anymore. It almost like they set the ladies up!:happytv:

lol, "Are they fighting?"
"Apparently the one with the bill angered the one who is screaming out of the room."
"Well, maybe they will leave so we can have our lobster bisque in peace"
"WTH? Are they praying now?"
"Mind your business! but jeez....that took an hour."

I have not seen last night's epi BUT right there...come on, people, this is so scripted. Bravo told the restaurant personel and all the patrons that RHoOC would be filming...then that gives the ladies the OKAY to act like immature idiots while out dining.
I would not want to see screaming idiots while I was out eating even if it was PANERA's.

These ladies just LOVE and CRAVE all this attention and quite frankly it is so distrubing to me. :headache:

I would love to see Frank test his wife. Maybe if he says we need a vacation and they agree.....He can say....See this is the problem, you are all about the money, spending it and not worrying about where it comes from.....

They ALL know they don't have it, how could anyone with half a brain agree to go out and spend more on a vacation.....MAYBE save it towards a down payment on a house.

And how long have they been married ??? 20 years??? Have they never owned their own home??

During the dinner party episode, I remember Lynn spewing some bs line about wanting to be free and not tied down to a mortgage so they could live where they wanted when they wanted.

I completely understand Frank about the vacation.

You folks are just into thinking about the money part of it. Certainly it costs money for a vacation and, on the surface, sounds absurd for this family but who says a vacation always has to cost a lot of money?

I think the point Frank was making was for the family to get away from all outside influences to sit down to talk about what happened and why, begin really listening to each other and start the process of hopefully healing the family by doing whatever it takes on everyone's part.

I wish them well.

Oy. Between Frank and Lynn, they have half a brain. I couldn't believe that Lynn was playing the victim card. I'm sorry. She had to have some idea of their financial situation. Plus, to go out and blatently spend 1100 bucks on a leather jacket right after being evicted is just plain stupid. I somewhat felt sorry for Frank as every husband/father wants to give their wives/children the world. But, that man needs to learn the word "no". I don't think he can even spell it, quite honestly.

Ducky is just plain lame. She went to SFO with the idea of confronting Vicki and was not going to let it go. I get the idea that what Vicki means by she works is that she has a Monday-Friday, 9-5 kind of job. That she is responsible for the employment of several hundred people. The others are able to pretty much make up their own schedules. Same thing with the men. Other than Donn, they work for themselves and can make their own schedules. Donn works for another company and is expected to be there during normal working hours.

And Ducky playing the religious card is just plain crazy. She only practices it when it suits her. Blech!

I get the impression that Gretchen is not on board with getting engaged yet. Hmm. Maybe she is on to Slade and is only along for the fun and games. I also get the feeling that "Mom" is not on board at all wth Slade. Smart woman! Guess we'll have to see.

I agree with Vicki, it's not fun anymore. I bet this is her final season.

Until next week!

What was up with Vicki's extremely red neck and face during the SF trip and lunch?? Was it from anger or a chemical peel or hives???:confused3:confused3 I couldn't focus on some of her words...all I could see was red. LOL

Also, I don't think Ducky has ever led a prayer group before...LOL You could tell she had no idea what she was praying about!! I guess if she thought if she kept talking and talking , everyone would believe it.

Things I learned from this episode:

* Jesus parted the Red Sea and fed a lot of people
* When you're forced out of your home, have no money, and living in a hotel a family vacation should be your first priority
* Marriage should really have a lease option
* Slade's spandex is fitting a little more snug than it used to :scared:
* Take your 4 year old with you to talk to your friend about why she can't get along with your husband
* Tell your pastor that being beautiful through plastic surgery is a "gift from God" and he'll tell you your beauty (or other parts) will open up people's hearts (or wallets).
* A lunch on a vacation that you all have to be on together is a perfect time to bring up issues. And if said person you have issues with gets up and leaves continue to say said issues to the next of kin, however uncomfortable you may be making them.

I learned a lot.
:rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2: Yup! That about sums it up! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

I think Vicki just has a bad complexion. She mentioned before that she took Accutane.

I can't believe Alexis only served yogurt for breakfast with their pastor!

Lynne is a hot mess. She blames him for their money problems. It is so funny how everyone of them-except for Vcki-lives way above their means!!!!

I completely understand Frank about the vacation.

Oh, I completely agree. I don't think Frank was thinking how can I spend more money or lavish money on my family, I think he was just grasping at straws on how to get his family back together and to talk to them for more than 20 minutes in a hotel room. I don't think his wife and daughters could go on a "cheap" vacation without complaining (and the way Alexa likes to walk away from things, as well as Raquel, I don't think the vacation would last very long anyways). I think it's sad that Frank is taking the brunt of all of this. I wish them well too, I would think since Frank has dealt with cancer that they would realize how precious time and life is and that it's not all about money.

What killed me was when here he is living in a hotel room after he got evicted from his second home in less than a year and he says; "What we need is a family vacation. "

I about fell out of my chair. Seriously, do you really think that a family vacation is what you really need right now? If you can not afford to pay your deposit on your rental home and the last place you lived in is sueing you for damages. A vacation is the last thing that you could afford.
I figured Frank was counting on Bravo to send them on an all-expense paid vacation... not that he'd have to foot the bill himself.
Well put. These women are crazy. I wonder if they watch the show and what their thoughts are about the way they are portrayed. Do they realize how bizarre the things are that come out of their mouths? Or do they think the show is edited badly and they are made to look awful?
Alexis said on Watch What Happens that all the women said they appreciated the prayer at the lunch table, but then she couldn't understand why they trash-talked it in their private interviews.

Oh, and Alexis also said that they are down to just one nanny. Poor Alexis. :rotfl:

I was giving my sister an update of this week's episode and the way that I described it was, "you know how when Aunt Ethyl leads a prayer and it's really nice and focused on the matter at hand? Well, Alexis rambled and didn't do that."
I can't believe Alexis only served yogurt for breakfast with their pastor!
I almost forgot about that! Who invites someone to their house for breakfast/brunch and doesn't serve anything hot? She may has well have opened a box of cereal and placed it in the center of the table for everyone to pour it themselves.

Also, the fact that Jim can't figure out how to serve coffee from a carafe is insane. My DH was raised to believe that many household things are not his job, but he's not pathetic about it.

I couldn't believe that he brought up his wife's breasts to the pastor... with the long pause after saying it, to boot.

I thought the pastor's response was worse... DH said "SO he just said she should be a hooker for God??!"

I'm also thinking that it cannot be said on air, but Bravo pays for trips and things so it could have even been offered by Bravo for them to take a vacation and it will be paid for. No one is that stupid that they would take a vacation while they are homeless.

Unfortunately, people are that stupid. That's why they are in the mess they are in. Lynn and Frank are both idiots. She bought a $1500 jacket after finding out they were being kicked out of their home and he's suggesting a vacation.

I think it's time for Bravo to release these fake Orange County wannabes & find some women who can actually afford to live the lifestyle that the show is supposed to portray!!!
Vicki is the only one left with any money, the rest are just digging themselves into a hole trying to "live" for the show! So pathetic!!!!:confused3

i dunno-lynn keeps going on about how frank misled her about their financial situation leading to the eviction that's being shown on the series- BUT this is'nt their first eviction in recent months/years-would'nt the first time you got evicted for non payment be a heads up to you that something is going on with your finances? their daughter is sitting there talking about all the times they've had to move over the past couple of years-so it's no secret to her whats been going on, and then she tells her dad to stop telling her something like 'this is going to be our year', because he's been saying it year after year to them and she's tired of hearing about something that's just not going to happen (sounds like the financial issues have been long term, and the parents have told her the same song and dance everytime it's come to a head).

i think being 'stupid'is a way of life for some of these people-lynn whose just been evicted buys an expensive leather jacket, continues going out to meals (i don't think bravo foots the bill for all their meals), and her husband is staying at what looks to be a pretty pricey hotel. tamra whose looking at having to downsize b/c they may be losing their home continues to shop for highend items and lunch with the ladies.

as much as a few of them are talkiing about having to cut back and downsize it almost looks like the only thing they cut out are items they can't put on credit cards (household staff like tamra's cleaning person, and mortgage payments).

i think lynn's daughter hit the nail on the head when she made the comment that her parents are constantly on her about her behavior and what she's doing wrong but they totaly ignore their own behaviours/wrong doings.

I agree! I think they should start over and find real OC wives and mothers who are all friends like the show started out. I like Gretchen but I don't think I could watch her and her friends for a whole show.
