I imagine Ryan's "take charge" persona was probably very attractive to Brianna after being raise by easy-going Don. She had probably has not spent much time with men who are determined, focused, and full of leadership. Sadly, I think she didn't realize that he is actually a control-freak with anger issues. They married and had Troy so quickly that by the time she realized it, it was too late. She's in a tough spot.

What boggles my mind is that he demands respect but cannot seem to give it. He truly believes that Lydia's Mom was aggressive and disrespectful.

I can't help but wonder if part of their living arrangement is to prevent Briana and Troy from being isolated and living alone Ryan. If that were my daughter and grandchild, I would do whatever it takes to keep them where I can make sure they're safe and protected.

Honestly, this may be the first bit of "reality" I've seen on one of these shows. So sad.

I think Don was some big shot at Home Depot or some company like that. I think he seemed so laid back because he was older and in that retirement stage. Plus Vicki is so controlling. I think she went from controlling Vicki to controlling Ryan. Maybe she was attracted to Ryan because she knew he'd stand up to Vicki but she's getting way more than she bargained for.

I think Ryan was absolutely in the wrong and Lydia handled it far better than I would have. I'm not ready to paint him as a crazy person just yet. I don't think there are excuses for what he did, but I do think that we've all had a moment like that at some point. Maybe not quite as. It's, but their lives are always x10 from the norm.

We've seen him at parties and drinking before and he hasn't acted that way. I think he's getting really obnoxious with the Brookes thing, but I'd not have a problem with the actual agreement. I think The living arrangement benefited everyone in someway and Vicki is an adult. If she willingly made the agreement she should stick to it, but Ryan acting like it is his rule and his way is a bit obnoxious. I think he knows how much it bothers Brianna and he knows he won't be around to comfort herso he's trying tone overly aggressive to get his point out.

Ryan has been weird in the past too. I just think that a lot of people were willing to over look his faults because they adore Brianna and do not like Vicki.

I think BRAVO probably got wise to Ryan's temper and decided to broadcast it. Vicki's brother even said the guy is like this all the time. I really hope Brianna and her child are not on the receiving end of that anger.

Ryan didnt just have a moment of anger. The behavior continued and carried on towards other guests. It's scary.

Ryan's behavior was very aggressive and completely unacceptable. I think Briana has her hands full. I thought Lydia's mother handled herself very well under the circumstances.

Vicki's dress was hideous, especially from the back.

I thought the conversation between Vickie and Brianna about Ryan being "different" or doing things "differently" was very interesting. Obviously he has exhibited strange behavior in the past and Brianna attributes it to his upbringing.

Ryan made the point that Lydia's mom was disrespecting Vickie in her home. Yet Ryan gossips and complains about Brooks to guests at Vickie's party? Hmmm?

Brianna has certainly learned to speak up lately, but you could tell that she tiptoed her way around Ryan. She seemed scared of him.

Lauri was SOOOOO much prettier! Jeana, Jo, Kimberly, Lauri and Vicki were the HW. They were watching a tv with scenes from the season, and commenting on it. Quite a different "Reunion Show" than what they've had in recent years!!

I watched it. Yes, it was completely drama free! Was it that way on the season 2 reunion show? I cannot remember.

Yes, that tends to happen to women as we get sooooo much older, not as pretty, sucks.

Don't be fooled for one moment about this Lauri thing, BRAVO orchestrated the whole thing.....guaranteed. She was much too awkward about the whole thing to be believable.

She also has to be pushing 50. That first reunion show was what.....near 10 years ago? People do age. She looks great to be her age, they all do really.

That's exactly what I meant: I think Lauri's plastic surgery has made her less attractive, not the fact that she's aged since the beginning of the show.

I agree. Her upper lip never moves and it makes it look like she has a hard time speaking and pronouncing her words. Her face looks "hard" like plastic. Like if you touched it, it would feel like a hard Barbie doll. I don't get why these women can't just age naturally. They all exercise and appear to eat pretty healthy, so they take pretty good care of themselves, why not just let it happen? I just don't get it

I don't get it either. I know that they are all obsessed with being young looking (look at how some of them dress) but I think that for the most part the surgeries age them.

I agree. If Lauri had just aged naturally, she would be much better looking today. She obviously takes care of herself, has a lovely figure and could be a knock-out. Instead, she just looks artificial and, IMHO, unattractive. I just don't get it.
