The REAL HONEST TO GOODNESS Friday Riddle

You want pie?

McDonalds sells them 2 for a buck.
I can not leave my assigned post.

Not that your idea is exactly a bad one. And the people behind the counter usually don't give me any 'tude. I don't understand them, but they're kinda indifferent to my existence.

After all these years I didn't realize this was the way it was supposed to go. Some of you women should go in the kitchen and make me a holiday pie.

Wow, I went over and read that thread! Poor DWs! Let's see, I started buying gifts for my DW back in November (had to make sure I got them by Christmas!), and we do the shopping together as much as possible for the rest of the gifts, and for the food.

I wrap all of hers by myself, and we wrap all the rest together. She does the paper, and I do the ribbon and bows. She does wrap mine normally, but this year the boys are helping. :thumbsup2

We put up the tree together, then I put on all the lights (1400 on a 7 1/2 foot tree!) and then I let DW and the boys put on the balls and some decorations, then I help with the special ornaments. :)

My DW and sons cook the Christmas cookies. That is their tradition, and I just get to eat them! Boy are they gooood.

We don't put up outside lights, since you cannot see our house from the road, there is no point. :rolleyes1

it only looks the same to the uninitiated:snooty:
I have a question. Do the roads in your state take tests? We see test roads all the time, but they must never pass because all the new roads here look like crap after about 5-10 years anyway.

They are trying a new road that was developed by some school in Minn. I believe. It's supposed to absorb the extra salt that gets spread on the road when the temp starts to warm up, and then release it right about when the freezing point gets reached so the roads almost salt themselves and don't ice up. This is of course just a test road at the moment.

Holy cow Duck. You actually made some sense on that "My Husband is a Slacker" thread. I totally agree on the let's call Pizza Hut and see who's plasma TV is bigger when people come to visit. When they do get there, they better not forget to LEAVE. Dude, it's 9:30, YOU have been here for almost TWO hours. GO HOME. I do tend to be closer to the Clark Griswold guy, BUT, my wife still needs to prompt me to do it. However, once I start I don't stop. She wants it all done in one day. I like to work a little, eat a lot. Work a little, eat a lot, nap a lot. Work a little, and watch football, a lot. Then, do the same thing the next 3 weekends. AND most importantly, complain about how much I do around the house for Christmas. I hate all the little Christmas nik naks strewn all over the house. Give me a couple Santas and a nativity scene and I'm all set. Merry Christmas Duck and all the rest of you Riddlers too. I'm gonna go eat a lot now.

Don't you have a highway to make identical to how it was before you started?

I like doing most of it myself for Christmas...I don't like amateurs getting in my way! ;)

I did however...work 12 hours today and put them all in charge of cleaning my house while I was gone. :thumbsup2 I figured it was the least they could do since I did every thing else! ;) :rotfl:

Mr. B...you made me hungry...I need a snack now! ;)
