C'mon now, everyone knows calories don't count on vacation, much less in the happiest place on earth!

Hey I agree that it seems kind of silly to get vanilla but I wouldn't bag on it. It's not "plain," just popular. It's an exquisite flavor and the beans are expensive (at least on the consumer end). It used to be considered a delicacy.

It's a soft pineapple ice cream/frozen yoghurt with Dole fresh pineapple juice underneath. I don't particularly enjoy pineapple however I really enjoy the refreshing taste esp on a very warm day!

I did not know that Dole Whips were lactose free which got me wondering what was in a Dole Whip....

I ain't the first person to search for the ingredients since Google had quite a few searches. Hmmm, I wonder what demographic is searching for the ingredients for Dole Whips?

I have replied to a lot of "what is Dole Whip? Is it ice cream, frozen yogurt, etc?"

I used to post the ingredient list but stopped because to most people a Dole Whip is manna from the gods, not a list of things from a chemistry set. Now I just say is lactose free frozen soft serve dessert.

But since you let the cat out of the bag, the fruit flavors are also totally dairy free. All Dole Whip used to have Sodium Caseinate (made from milk) in them now its only the chocolate and vanilla.

Also I find it funny that some will say how much fresher Dole Whip is at the Dole Plantation. Uh its the same powdered mix used everywhere made somewhere on the mainland. Now the pineapple chunks they serve it on is another matter.
