Day 16 Magic Kingdom
I am awake with a heavy heart today as it wil be our last full day. We are in the car and heading to MK for our 8.05 ADR at Crystal Palace. When we arrive i am quite surprised at how busy it is here. We give our names and wait to be called inside. Once inside Rebecca is busy pointing out Pooh and Tigger which keeps her amused for a while. The breakfast here is lovely and we all enjoy the characters. The kids get up and join a chain of dancing around.
Once we leave we head for fastpasses for either Thunder mountain or Splash mountain. Splash mountain has the shortest wait so we take it in turns to ride this with Chelsea while Rebecca plays in the little kiddie area.
We use our fastpasses to do Big thunder mountain and head for Fantasyland. We go on Snow whites scary adventures and Peter pans flight and Rebecca is very happy as she can do these rides too.
We head to Toontown and manage to greet lots of characters here except for Mickey and Minnie who seem to have gone awol everytime we get to the tent! we tour their houses instead and then head for some cold drinks!
The park is very busy and it is late afternoon before we know it. We tour some more of the park taking some time for the sights and we quickly tire out. At around 4pm we leave Mk for the last time and are quite sad as this officially means an end to the holiday. Some last pictures on the way out and we are soon at the car park and on the road out. We all wave to Mickey and promise we will see him real soon!! I have a lump in my throat and feel quite teary at this point and we drive out in silence.
Dinner is at the Golden corral and then back to let the kids have the last use of the pool while i pack the 40 pairs of shoes!!
We stay up late as neither of us particularly want to go to bed tonight. When we wake in the morning we are going home!!
