Yay on Tim starting his day with Space Mountain!! :cheer2:

Peco's Bill sure does look yummy!! popcorn:: Will have to try and check it out during our trip.

Lol at the roommate story! :rotfl: Am glad to read no one was hurt.

Did Vickie take a pic of the clown at Boardwalk for her sister? That one freaks me out a little even though I normally don't mind clowns.

I love the Princess ladies room! :cool1:

Good luck with your AP English exam. Lol at The Merchant of Venus! Did you show it to your English teacher?

Wow a second update as well! Yay on having a surprise party!!! :dance3:

Happy birthday!! Your right - everyday should be a celebration! Love the cake and sounds like you all had an awesome party which was finished off very nicely with fireworks!! :goodvibes

Yayy for birthdays! It looked like you had such an awesome party :goodvibes

Pecos Bill looks so good. And so do their cakes. YUM!

Good luck on your AP English exam!

Maybe the announcement was for those who read Kingdom Keepers--:rotfl2:

Happy early birthday- great surprise...love the beach pics!

Good allusion practice with Merchant of Venus - Speaking of which...best of luck on the AP exam! My kiddos take the Lang Comp one on May 11th.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH YOU AND KRISTEN!!!!!!! Hope you both have great birthdays when they come around :) and it's never 2 early/late to celebrate a birthday :) I have been known to tell disney cast members that it is my birthday despite my birthday being a couple of months after or before the trip. :rolleyes1 My birthday is also May 8th as well :) so I know the excitement you must be feeling now. I'm in college and have a ton to do in my life and the only thing that is making it a little easier to deal with is knowing that my birthday is soon. I personally love getting the coupons for restauraunts right around my birthday so i totally get the restaraunt excitement :)

oh and great update :) How freaky about the guy living with vickie's brother who was a wanted criminal! glad nothing happened to him. I don't know what I would have done if I found that out after someone was living with me. I did find out that some guy I was in one class with freshman year killed and robbed someone a few weeks ago. Granted he did leave the school I went 2 and transfered into an alternative school and left that school 2 but still that is so scary when you find something out like that. I'm just glad nothing happened while he went to my school. I also haven't seen this guy since freshman year of high school and didn't really know him very well at all. sorry to be such a debbie downer but on a happier note i can't wait to hear more about your trip :)

I just have to tell you this--
My 3 year old daughter just came downstairs while I was reading this and saw your picture. She said, "Oh! Jasmine! I want to see Jasmine on the computer!!":goodvibes See, you really COULD be Jasmine at WDW!

Just got all caught up. Love your report! You girls are adorable.

Do you know what kind of camera you and your mom use? You have some great shots of the castle and the show!

Good luck on your AP exam!! And how's this for a little motivation....my son started college with 14 credits that he earned in high school. Do you know how much money that saved? $800.00 a credit hour X 14..........whew!!! So get that score you need, you will be so happy when you are in college that you spent the year learning those subjects instead of 12 weeks in college (or 15 if you are lucky). I'm in college now and I tell my kids that are in high school and middle school. Have fun with classes like foreign languages etc. You get the whole year to learn them!! It's so much tougher when it's all crammed in to one semester. (and being a mom and working might add to it haha)
Wow am I a public service announcement for education tonight or what??

LOVED the update!!!! When is Prom?

Thank you!! It's tomorrow! I'm a little scared but I mean... it doesn't change me as a person. I'll just do my best. That's what I keep tellin' myself. :rotfl:
That is awesome that he did that!! WOW! That's really really great. I only took one AP class throughout high school and it was this one, and unfortunately I don't think I'm going to get higher than a 3. And I would need to get a 4 to get any sort of credit. So oh well. But I mean, I'm getting the experience so I"m sure that'll help me in the future!
And hahaha it's totally fine! Schoolwork is a common topic in my life LOL. Education is important!!

And thank you very much! I have 2 proms actually -- May 13th and June 10th! So you'll be getting updates of both (:

Yayyy for an update. Even though I knew it was coming...LOL.

I love Tim and that he met up with us.

Fave = "Buckle up kids cause this here's the wildest ride in the wilderness!" LOVE that. Frontierland just wins in my eyes.

Lunch was yummy, those little chocolate cakes are sooo good!

Oh IASW, how you scare people. I look past that and see the good. :lmao:

The Princess bathroom has got to be one of my faves. Just because it says that.

Oh you and the Merchant of Venus. You cracked up at that. You are officially the Princess of Corny jokes.

And OMG this was the day I did "Sorry Mickey, sorry Mickey, sorry Mickey" in Tomorrowland! Eeeeeeeppppppp can't wait for that video.

Me too he was an angel!
Frontierland is awesome. That and Tomorrowland are the best.
I never get those chocolate cakes. I really should. But I liked the yogurt!!
I look past the creepiness of IASW too! It never really bothered me.
That is one of my favorite bathrooms too haha. I love Disney Bathrooms.... I don't know why.
And hahahahaha I know. Sometimes I just think things are SO FUNNY!
And OMGGG I forgot about that!!! I haven't gotten there yet! I can not wait to finish the video! At least I'm practically caught up!

YAYYYY for our birthdayyy!!!

I was SO surprised!! I had absolutely NO idea about ANY of that!!

And of course I wore my frumpy Disney zip-up. It was just Olive Garden with a few other frumps, so who cares, right? Or so I thought...

That was seriously one of the nicest things anyone has ever done for me, besides like my mom of course. :goodvibes But it's so nice to know that I have such good friends like Vickie and Nat who would throw us a surprise party. And Jess for being my birthday bud!

YAYYY for our pardyyy (:
Hahaha Disney sweatshirts are totally acceptable for any occasion. I wore mine to Kevin's house once when we watched the a playoff hockey game. No big deal I looked just fine!
And aww I know we have the cutest friends ever!

Very cute birthday! Love seeing your friends in all those Disney sweatshirts. Your trip sounded like so much fun. I've loved reading allll of it!

Thank you! (: I know... Kristen has hers on and the light blue one (that Nat is wearing) is mine as well. Haha we're funny.
And oh the trip was SO fun!! I'm glad you read it! I hope you stay with us till the very end!

Awesome updates!

Pecos Bill looks really yummy, I can see why you guys liked it so much.

Your birthday looks like so much fun, what a fun surprise

Good luck on your exam:goodvibes

Thank you!
Pecos Bill is FANTASTIC! I really could go for a burger right now.
Yeah it was so cute :) 4 days till my REAL birthday! (even though I've been celebrating for the past month!)
And thank you! It's tomorrow :scared1:

Another great update. I love Pecos Bill too, it's such a fab place to eat :goodvibes The surprise birthday party also looked like so much fun, I loved your cake :lovestruc

Thank you! Pecos Bill is sooo good! I love it!
And aww it was amazing! And thanks I loved it too! That made my whole day!

Yay on Tim starting his day with Space Mountain!! :cheer2:

Yes! Plus it was Space Mountain WITH fastpasses! That makes for a good reputation!
You will definitely have to try out Pecos Bill! Fantastic!
And hahaha I know I'm glad too! It was so funny when he was telling it! What an unexpected ending!
And no she didn't!! But I will have to show her a picture of that clown. Creeeepy!
And aww I know me too! Yay for princesses!
Thank you! The exam is tomorrow ahhh! And hahaha I just told my English Teacher about the Merchant of Venus like last week. My whole class was like "Wow you would know that." What can I say... I know a lot of random Disney things and I noticed that ALLUSION! (yes, that's an AP English term right there!)
And yes I did two in one night! I'm so ambitious! And thank you! It was a great party! (:

Yayy for birthdays! It looked like you had such an awesome party :goodvibes

Pecos Bill looks so good. And so do their cakes. YUM!

Good luck on your AP English exam!

It was so fun!

Hahaha oh my God I remember those books! I read the first one and then never finished the series... but I should read the rest of them! They're so clever.
Thank you very much (:
And hahaha thank you. Allusion is a very important AP word!! And thank you very much! I'll need the luck! Good luck to your kids too!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO BOTH YOU AND KRISTEN!!!!!!! We use a Nikon D3000 and a Sony Cybershot. The fancier looking ones are from the Nikon though.

Great Disney trip update! :thumbsup2 You hit some of my absolute favorite rides! Your pictures and description made me really excited to try Pecos Bill's. It looked so yummy! popcorn:: That is so creepy about Tim living with a criminal! You never know who to trust these days!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY (almost)!! What an awesome surprise party! I love your cake!! :lovestruc Olive Garden is so delicious. I could eat their salad and breadsticks everyday!

LADIES (Are the two of you taking tomorrow's Exam?) SO, you shouldn't be on here because you have studying to do...just in case,

New testing guidelines - no penatly for wrong answers...even if you have no clue - guess. You shouldn't leave ANY blank.

Personal preference: skim the questions for the mc to get a general idea of what the passage is about..

Also, ANNOTATE, ANNOTATE, ANNOTATE! it focuses your reading.

Most importantly, and I don't know if all teachers stress this- I learned it from an AP scorer...PLAN before you write. Create a doggie draft... a ruff ruff draft. Decide what your thesis is and what you will say in each paragraph.

Really MOST IMPORTANTLY - just do YOUR best. :goodvibes

Chapter 26 - "Por Favor Mantengase Alejado de las Puertas"
January 18th, 2011

After galavanting around Tomorrowland, we all met up and headed to Toontown for our last visit EVER! :(

We walked through Minnie's house and said goodbye one last time. It was a very sad moment. But I guess it's good that Kristen and I documented everything the other night so we will always remember it!

dsc0766a.jpg

The walls that they have up for the Fantasyland Expansion are awesome! The giant Disney characters on them are super super cute! It's a good distraction from all of that never ending construction!

How Precious.

Kristen with her Favorites:

We went on the Mad Tea Party next! Which is lots of fun every time!

dsc0753j.jpg

Next, we were trying to figure out our dinner situation. So we stopped at the Enchanted Grove and got waters to think it over. The Enchanted Grove is located right near the Mad Tea Party, sort of where you change from Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. That is for those who weren't aware of the Enchanted Grove's location. Let alone it's existence. It's a pretty soft spoken eatery.

Some guy came up and asked us to take a survey. So we said sure. It was about the Enchanted Grove, it's service, decorations, etc. Vickie answered all of the questions. She gave it an excellent rating! I guess we couldn't really complain... considering we all got bottled waters :rotfl:

Then we rode Winnie the Pooh!

dsc0768r.jpg

We stopped and took a seat in one of those tables near Dumbo. We had to decide what to do about dinner because we never came to a definite conclusion. We were going to a restaurant that had a buffet, and it was a little expensive. Since Tim wasn't on the Dining Plan, he didn't know if he wanted to spend that much. However, we showed him the menu on Kristen's iPod and he decided to splurge. All of the food just sounded too delicious! Hooray!

dsc0771p.jpg

This was cutely drawn with chalk on the sidewalk in Fantasyland. It was just chillin' there.. on the ground. I love little random things like that! They're just so adorable.

dsc0773n.jpg

And then we went over to Adventureland and rode the Jungle Cruise!

Okay, does anyone out there watch Glee? Because our skipper looked and sounded EXACTLY like Kurt. It was a little scary! The whole time I was like... is Kurt driving our boat?! haha

We exited through Frontierland and took this picture really fast. I look pretty happy to be in there.... I don't know what's wrong with me sometimes. :rotfl:

dsc0775b.jpg

Then we headed to Main Street U.S.A. and had a little photoshoot in front of the castle.

dsc0788iv.jpg

It was only 5:30 pm or so and we were heading out of the park. I know, it's so early. But the Magic Kingdom was actually closing that night at 6 o'clock! I guess they were having some big Fantasyland Expansion meeting that night, located in the PhilharMagic building. This was the night that they announced the closing of Snow White's Scary Adventures. How sad!

So, we said goodbye to the castle for the last time on this trip! We had such a great time and we wished we didn't have to leave!

dsc0794km.jpg

But of course, just because the Magic Kingdom was closing doesn't mean that the day is over! Oh no! You do realize that we haven't eaten dinner yet, right?! (And I don't miss a meal... ESPECIALLY in Disney World!)

Also on top of that, we still had one of the best rides in Disney World to go on: THE MONORAIL!

"Please Stand Clear of the Doors. Por Favor Mantengase Alejado de las Puertas."

dsc0800h.jpg

Kristen is OBSESSED with the monorail! (notice the shirt) She was looking very forward to riding it the whole entire trip. She was crazy with excitement! Tim was amused by her excessive enthusiasm! There are not many people who understand a Dis'er's love for the monorail.

So, basically we were going to one of the Resorts for dinner that night! But which one will it be....?

Hi! I've lurked on your TR since the beginning but just decided to post now :goodvibes I'm really enjoying your report, although I am a bit jealous of your nice weather...I personally only know the August Disney...but it's Disney nonetheless!! Love it how your Jungle Cruise skipper reminded you of Kurt!

Great Disney trip update! :thumbsup2 You hit some of my absolute favorite rides! Your pictures and description made me really excited to try Pecos Bill's. It looked so yummy! popcorn:: That is so creepy about Tim living with a criminal! You never know who to trust these days!

And THANK YOU! It was great! I loved my cake too. It was one of the cutest cakes I've ever had! And oh my goshhh I know. Olive Garden is probably one of my top favorite restaurants. The salad and breadsticks are just fantastic. I can't even explain how much I love them

Hahaha I like how I did a Trip Report update today... :rotfl: I shouldn't be on here but I was taking a break. I will go study right after I get off.

Kristen isn't taking the exam tomorrow, just me. She'll get to take this one in 2 years! Woohoo! Lots of fun.

Thank you so much for those tips! They will help a lot! It's going to feel so great when this is done! :woohoo:

I'm so glad you commented! Thank you for reading! And haha the weather was good! A little on the chilly side, but the last 2 days were beautiful! It's a hit or miss in January but it's a good time to go! I've been to the world in August several times. It's brutal, isn't it?! I still have fun though! And haha I know I liked that skipper! Kurt is my favorite Glee character so it was like he came to life! ...on the Jungle Cruise :rotfl:

I love all of the castle pics!!!! Hm..buffet...I wonder where you're going..I'm going to guess Cape May since you are staying at YC and it's right where you sleep :) Oooh..or then again it could be 1900 Park Fare!!!

I love Kristen's shirt! I've been meaning to get me a monorail shirt for a while.

Hmm I'm gonna guess you went to 'Ohana!

LOVE the title of this update...of course.

Goodbye Toontown. :sad1:

Those pics at Minnie's house are REALLY cute!

HOORAY for the Mad Tea Party AND my favorites!! :yay:

And yes the water bottles from Enchanted Grove are especially...wet. :lmao:

I liked that little random Mickey. :) Today in Lab I was bored so I covered my nails in Mickey heads with Sharpie. :p And then repainted them a little bit ago...LOL.

OMG yeah that skipper looked A LOT like Kurt. He was so cute!

I like how you look happy to be imprisoned there. :rotfl: I look a little frightened LOL.

Wow our photoshoot in front of the castle turned out really well! Love the <3 pic. :goodvibes

THE MONORAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! party: Ma FAVE. Tim was like "You don't get out much do you?" HAHAHA. :rotfl2: Some people just don't get it...haha.

I would guess where we're eating...but I already know...so ya'al will just have to wait and seeeee!!!!! :thumbsup2

Aww sad to see that your trip is almost over, but i'm glad you got a last chance to say goodbye to toontown.

For dinner i'm guessing it was either 1900 park fare or Chef Mickey's since you said it was a buffet, can't wait to find out:goodvibes

Looooove your TR! I have to say you guys look like you had A BLAST, I'm jealous! :goodvibes I'm actually about to start my first WDW College Program and I can't waittttt to get started! :yay: You guys look like you would LOVE to work for Disney, have you ever thought about applying for the DCP?! :thumbsup2
