Yah I was excited to see you had updated

Wow the food at 1900 Park Fare looks amazing! We had an ADR here on our last trip but ended up having to cancel it due to a time conflict but now it is definitely back on my list of ones to try.

You guys got some awesome character shots and your evening at Downtown Disney sounds awesome!

LOVE 1900 Park Fare! We ate there on our last trip in December and the stepsisters were absolutely HILARIOUS! They were chasing around this little boy who was about 10 years old and Anastasia even stole his jacket and went under the table to try and kiss him! It was definitely a huge highlight on our trip!

I'm right there with Vick, I was in AWE of Prince Charming! I just kept thinking, "Wow....after all this time, that's really him!"

I love how you spotted all the characters from the past meet n greets! I will have to keep my eyes peeled to see if we see the same people as different characters during our trip!

I'm rubbish with directions as well and am always getting lost!

Wow, what a great looking buffet! John and I ate at Crystal Palace for breakfast on our December trip just because I had read somewhere that they served strawberry soup, but alas...no soup. It looks so delicious.

AHH. I'm not going to lie, seeing the people in different costumes shattered my world a little bit. I was definitely under the impression that one CM played the same character all the time. I was devastated at first, but then I thought about it and I guess it makes sense. Although, I think if I was the ugly stepsister girl I would be a little offended that they wanted me to be BOTH ugly stepsisters!

Yeah that restaurant has fantastic character interaction! I was really impressed!
And hahaha I know! I noticed Cinderella, but I don't think I would have noticed the step sisters if Kristen hadn't been there!

And yeah it was so so so good! 1900 Park Fare has strawberry soup and both breakfast and dinner, so either way you'll get it if you go there! Crystal Palace is delicious though... I'm sure the puffy french toast made up for the lack of soup!
And I know it kind of throws you off a bit! But it's exciting. I always forget that the characters are real people. It's such a weird concept. And hahaha I know! But at least you would know that you're a beyond hilarious person if you got that job!​

Real Life Update #2: PROM!
May 13th, 2011

So, I know that a lot of you were interested in seeing some prom pictures! Since prom was last night, I figured I could do a little update on it!

As you all know, if you've been reading along, we go to an all-girls school. Last night was the Prom at our brother school, and I got to go

I got asked by my friend Pat who I met through the musicals. We've been friends since sophomore year.

Vickie also went to this prom because her boyfriend, Dan, goes to this school!

Unfortunately, Kristen didn't get to go to this prom, but don't worry! She's going to the next one!

So, I left school early yesterday after 6th period and went over to Vickie's house. She curled my hair and we went to go get pedicures at 2:30!

Afterwords, we went back to her house and finished getting ready. I curled my hair some more, Vickie curled her hair, we did our make up, put on our dresses, and we were ready to go!

We went over to Vickie's boyfriend's house to take pictures! It was beautiful out! We have been having the most terrible weather this year, however today is was in the high 70's and it was mostly sunny!

And then we took pictures as a big group! I didn't know everyone since this was the boys' prom. So, these are most of the people I'm friends with out of the whole group:



Across the top, it's Pat, Dan, and Charlie. Along the bottom it's me, Vickie, and my friend Jessie.

So then the Limo came. It was lots of fun! Here's Me, Vick, and Jessie in the Limo:

We left Dan's house in style and went to Prom! YAYY! Unfortunately, nobody made a playlist for the ride, so we had to listen to the radio for music. Wah!

We arrived and were seated. I was at Table 11. I sat with Pat, my friends Nat and Ellen and their dates, and some other people I didn't know.

As far as the food, it was pretty good. The salad, though, none of us liked. It was too fancy. The dressing was really sweet and there was crumbly blue cheese something on top. Yuck.

There were options of steak and chicken for the entree, so Pat ordered us one of each and then we split them both so we each got to try some!

And then the best part of the meal was DESSERT! It was a chocolate cake, that had a layer of milk chocolate around it. And on the inside there was like chocolate filling. SO DELICIOUS! I only got to eat half of it, then Vickie asked me to go to the bathroom with her, so I did. And then Nat and Ellen came in there, so it just took FOREVER. And all I wanted was my cake Thankfully they didn't throw it out, so I got to finish it once I got back to the table!

Darn, now that I think of it, I wish I took food pictures! Sorry about that!

Then after dinner it was time to dance!! It was so fun! The music at the beginning was kind of bad, but it progressively got better throughout the night! Some of the songs I remember them playing were "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO, "Till the World Ends" by Britney Spears, "More" by Usher, etc. I'm sort of disappointed with the current music on the radio, however, I hope that since it's almost summer a new wave of good music will come out soon. PLEASE!!!

So we danced. And danced. And danced some more!

The dancing portion went by EXTREMELY fast! Before we knew it, it was almost 11:30! Which meant we had to leave But that's okay! The night is not over yet!

We got in the limo and headed to our next destination. Our first stop was a local taco place because people were hungry again! I don't know how, though, I was still stuffed from dinner!

Our next stop was Niagara Falls!! It's a little far from where we live, but it used up our limo time since we had it for so long! We got out and took a few pictures and walked around.

LOL I love this picture... Jessie is being a Nun (like she was in Sound of Music) and I'm being a frump.

We didn't stay long, and we left to go to my house! I fell asleep on the way there, but that's okay! It refreshed me so I could stay up really late!

We arrived at my house and all changed into normal clothes. My parents are absolutely AMAZING and had so much food ready and a bonfire set up! And they were awake in the middle of the night!! I can't imagine many parents doing that, and I am so thankful that they did! That was so nice of them

So, we had our bonfire and we ate food for the rest of the night.

People ended up leaving around 4-4:30 am. Vickie was going to sleep over, but she ended up leaving her phone at the taco place, so she went home with everyone because it would be hard to coordinate rides for work tomorrow without a phone.

Nat and Ellen stayed over and we ended up sitting at the fire until 5:30 am!! It started getting light out!

We eventually went inside and went to sleep! We didn't wake up until quarter to 3 this afternoon!

So, all in all it was a really solid night!! I really really enjoyed myself and I was so happy I got to go

You girls looked beautiful! This makes me feel old though...my Prom was 8-9 years ago and all my pictures were on FILM! We had to wait a week or so to get all the pictures back, no one had a digital camera! Oh man...when did I get old??

Really enjoying your TR so far. You have a very upbeat vibe and so far you haven't mentioned anything of a downer or where it was a downer and you exemplified that fact LOL I'm so happy to find someone else who LOVES the Garden Grill! I love that place so much, its my family favorite. Even my dad (anti-Disney) doesn't mind me bringing it up, he loved the food there so much. And it is also a great character experience. I can't wait to read about what other adventures you got yourselves into Subbing... NOW!
