DH has been cleaning out the garden shed. There was a stack of clay pots, one inside the other, and when he got to the bottom pot he noticed a nest, and it was moving!! Peeking carefully inside of it, he found a mouse and her teeny tiny babies, no bigger than my fingernail, and still hairless.
Some of the neighbourhood kids had a quick look at them before DH left with the nest still in the pot, to bring them to the company shop. The shop is out in the country, with lots of protected places to leave them.

I hope they'll be okay!

Kim :)

How sweet of your DH!

(to help the mice.....AND to clean the shed!).....LOL LOL LOL

That is wonderful that you guys put them somewhere else. Mice can be a real problem around here... and I have cats that dispatch them regularly... but if I find one trapped - I always release it into the fields. I don't have the heart to hurt them.
