Our first trip to the Polynesian was awesome. We loved everything about the resort. We were in the Tahiti longhouse which was great for access to the TTC, but a long walk to the GCH and Volcano pool. We're going again July 2 and 3 (before we move to the BCV) and would like to stay a bit closer to the action. Is the Somoa longhouse too close and hectic? We're quite tolerant of that anyway, so unless it was really bad, I don't think it would matter to us. Any thoughts?

We were lucky enough to get that building once and loved it. We faced the volcano pool, GF, Lagoon, and could even see the caslte if we stretched...not bad for a GV room. ;)
I have requested it again.

Samoa is our new favorite longhouse. We had room 1602 ground floor volcano pool view in aug. It was perfect for pool runs, mug runs and a hop, skip and jump to everything else. We werent in the room all the much. We took an afternoon ac/rest. We just pulled the shades while the ds went swimming. If you face the pool, ground floor, I would definetely keep the shades closed for privacy. We loved the location and would ask for it again in a minute.
