The perfect proposal goes perfectly....wrong *COMPLETED!! 3-10-07*

That was great, I enjoyed reading it! Hope we don't have to wait too much longer for the next installment!!

Beaker is the MAN!

mememememe, me, me, mememememe...... MEMEMEME!!
(Thats Beakereze for "Thanks for reading my.....oh my, I seem to have just caught on fire!")

For a minute there, I thought you were doing Beaker's rendition of the song, "Feelings"....(which if you haven't seen it, is quite moving.... :sad1: )

Although, in addition to Beaker & Bunsen, may I also recommend a side of Swedish Chef? Because who doesn't like to throw a few live fish around thier kitchen every now and again??

Huhr'di, hurh'di, hurh'di!

Amen, brutha, you're preachin' to the choir.... who happens to be wearing none other than her prized "Swedish Chef" tee-shirt! I toyed with the Swedish Chef watch design.... but as you aptly stated, Beaker is, after all, Da Man. I'm raising a litter of geeky muppet-lovers too, as I persuaded a naive DH to buy the entire boxed-set of the Muppet Show on DVD for me a few yrs ago! The kids have some shows memorized, I swear... Bwaa haa haa.... resistance is futile! Soon DH too will be sucked into the cosmic Muppet-filled web of my all-time favorite variety show!!

BTW, I've heard only good things about your TR, and I plan on getting to it, as soon as I finish up with ZZUB's trilogy. Hes almost as long winded as I am....

Thanks, and definitely give the ZZUBster his due - he writes an EXCELLENT report! But first things first - don't do so much reading that you forget to write! You know, the natives can get PRETTY RESTLESS around here on the DIS! :jumping1:

Thanks for posting again VW Guy! I am now reading it aloud to the whole family! My DD12 is looking forward to trying the Hover Game. We always go in the off season so it usually isn't necessary but she wants to give it a go anyway!

faaaaaantastic trip report!!! and a big CONGRATS to you and your fiancee! :goodvibes

Thank you for your latest installment. I love reading your trip report. My best friend went to Penn State. He graduated in 1995 (I think). He also had a VW for a while, I'm not sure if he had a name for it or not...

Just thought I would say that I lvoe this report and can't wait for the next installment.

Funny you should say Choir and Swedish Chef in the same paragraph.
Being the Choir nerd :rolleyes1 that I am, It made me think of a peice in which the entire thing is in the non-sense language of the Swedish Chef. :rotfl2:
I can't for the life of me remember the name of the peice, very funny though.
Gotta luv those muppets!!

Great Trip Report, BTW. :wave2:

18 pages and I still have not had enough! Thanks for posting Pics! I love them because I get a Disney Fix and get to "know" you at the same time. What could be better than that?

You two are the cutest couple, and you both look so happy. Best wishes and continued happiness to the both of you.

Great job! I've enjoyed reading your TR not only for the entertainment value but for other vicarious reasons.

Oh, and the engineering wonder you feel over Soarin' is similar to the feeling I get about Turtle Talk -- as a software developer for a large purple and orange delivery company I'm awed by the technology utilized in TT.

Congrats on the engagement, BTW!

Oh, and the first car I drove was my dad's 71 Beetle. It's the only car he ever bought new. He still has it and we plan to restore it within the next couple of years. I had a Rabbit in the 10th grade but really really really wanted a Scirocco.

I am really really enjoying your TR.

Another VW fan here. My first car was a '68 baby blue bug. I also named it wish I still had DC. :)
