I was wondering if there was anyone who had tried the one floor Grand Villa at the BW AND the Two floor. We love the GV and usually wind up switching to one every year now, but we've never had the two floor version. What did you prefer? I saw some pics. someone just posted, and the two floor looks pretty cool. We usually get a bunch of rooms, and use our room as the evening spot, or babysitting spot, and wanted to know if the upstairs took anything away from the large living room? We'll usually have about 20 to 30 people visiting some nights, and wanted to make sure the two floor's entertaining area is as large.

We've done the Okw GV on several different trips , and gave one to some friends for a week once, it was nice, but the BW's our fav.
How are the GV's at Vero Beach? We haven't tried the new resort yet, but we were thinking about giving it a try one of these days. One of my friends at work has done the two bedroom and loved it, but he hasn't tried the GV yet. Wish the Wl and Bc had the GVs, we're hoping to possibly try a GV at the VB in feb, then try a two bedroom at the WL. We haven't stayed at the Wl in a couple of years, and love the hotel. No plans to try Hilton head yet, but gave our nephew and friends rooms to golf soon, I know they'll love it.

Thanks,
Pete

We've not stayed in a VB GV, but we have been in them (3 times). They are wonderful. The bedrooms are all on the first floor, and the kitchen/living room is on the second floor with an absolutely incredible view of the ocean. The entire second floor is open space, with floor to ceiling windows looking out to the ocean.

At WDW, I have only stayed in the GV's at OKW. I own points at BW also, but I have never stayed in one there. We stayed in one (Beach Cottage) at Vero Beach in January. It was fabulous. I used my BWV points for two years to get it since it included a weekend. It was definitely worth it, and we hope to do it again. I have thought about buying more points there for that reason - and I feel like as Vero sells out, it may get harder to book there at the 7 month window. At Vero, the three bedrooms are all downstairs and the kitchen and living/dining areas are upstairs for the better views. There is no bath upstairs, however, which I found a bit strange considering that the fold out sofa is upstairs.

We have only stayed in the 2 story GV at the BW so I can't compare it to the 1 story. We actually requested the one story but when we checked in the 2 story was all they had available. We loved the GV! It worked fine for us having the 2 story. There was plenty of room. We really enjoyed the balcony!

Thanks for the replies, we have our request for the two story now. I hope we get it.
