Hey Everyone,
sorry for the delay in updates but I'm feeling pretty disgusting and blah! I have caught a yucky head cold and am not pleased!

But I did get another interview scheduled so I'm happy about that! Anyhoo...time for an update no?
So, when we left off, Lauren and I were stuffing our faces at Tusker House! Man that was a good meal! I'm not a gourmet kinda girl if you couldn't tell already! So after breakfast we wound our way through the Animal Kingdom!
Our first stop after the meal was at It's Tough To Be A Bug! Here are a couple of photos from the queue area:
Lauren and I as honorary bugs:
how crazy do I look in that photo?! Moving on....
Once the we and the bugs left the theatre, Lauren and I decided to head over to Asia and check out treks to Everest! I
love that ride and have an unhealthy love of the Yeti!

As we neared the forbidden mountain, I stopped to take a picture and proclaim "Oh I just love it here!"
I love this photo! I totally stole the idea from others here on the Dis (or was inspired to replicate the image - that sounds better!), but it's just so colourful! I couldn't resist.
There was quite a wait to get up the mountain, so Lauren and I grabbed some fast passes and decided to go on a simple jungle trek while we waited! Thankfully, I did not get run over by an
ECV this year, but we warned to beware of tigers!
But they weren't too concerned with us, and we weren't about to interrupt their naptime! Let sleeping tigers lie!
I love to linger through here and just watch. I find all animals (well, almost all!) so fascinating and could spend hours just observing them...I must have been a zookeeper in a previous life...

We had about 30 minutes before our fast passes could be redeemed so we decided that would be a good amount of time to shop! First we played with some stuffed animals (Lauren loves pooh, and I of course had to play with Santa Yeti! The little snowmen Minnie and Mickey were cute too!)
I saw what I wanted for Christmas!
I just stood and stared at it until Lauren reminded me that I couldn't afford it and it wouldn't fit in my luggage. She would keep it in mind for a wedding gift if I ever get married....someone find me a groom!
And we were quite concerned about one item...

...this Mickey backpack:
We couldn't get over the fact that you were to store your belongings in Mickey's brain!!

I think the sales lady thought we were completely bonkers! We could not stop laughing to save our lives!

Poor Mickey...
So, after zipping up Mickey's head

, we headed back to Everest for our expedition!

After a great ride,, we were ready to make tracks to a new park.
I didn't get anymore photos at AK that morning. My camera eats up batteries like they're going out of style! But I did put in some new ones on the bus.
Where were we headed off to? You'll find out soon!
Have a good night everyone!
