Beef Stir-Fry, white rice and eggrolls. Eggrolls are DS10's favorite food. He'd eat them everyday if I let him.

Now how did I manage to miss this thread all this time?!?!

Dinner tonight will be clean up the leftovers. So it will be an assortment of pizza, garlic & herb grilled chicken breasts, lemon herb chicken grilled chicken breasts, grilled potatoes with garlic and onions, and salad.

I am fairly certain dd8 will opt for pizza, dd10 will go with lemon herb chicken sliced over salad (as will I) and dh will finish off the garlic& herb chicken with the potatoes.

I hate having a bunch of leftovers, but I cooked way too much on Sunday, then ordered too much pizza last night.

I'm going to try the Honey Rosemary Chicken posted my Poohnatic. Sounds so good that I'm actually looking forward to cooking. I'll make a salad and some rice to go with it.

My recipe is similiar, but calls for brown sugar instead of syrup and also has some white wine in it.
I always cook my salmon on cedar planks and am absolutely spoiled now. I don't want it any other way!

Last night we had Chicken Romano and a spinach rice casserole with salad.

Can you post your glaze recipe? It would be nice to try something diffferent. Thanks!

We're having beef stroganoff and probably steamed broccoli.

Sounds very interesting. Would you mind posting recipes? TIA.

Last night we had chuck steaks with a balsamic mushroom gravy. It was a good recipe for a cheap cut of steak. We had garlic roasted mashed potatoes and green beans on the side.

Tonight I wasn't feeling well so DH picked up Subway.

I have a dumb question

I have corn on the cob frozen in the package. What is the best way to cook it? Do you boil it then coat with butter, salt and pepper? I've never cooked it before.

My mother cooked it that way and it was good, I think that the corn is just blanched then frozen.

Tonight I had my boring old Monday night dinner (yes I know it's Tuesday) Salmon and orzo. I need to get off my butt and cook, this coming in and just eating whatever is getting on my nerves.

Tonight we are having grilled teriyaki chicken, rice and grilled pineapple spears with lime and honey. Mmm mmm mmm!!!

WFD at your house tonight? :)

I never made the spaghetti yesterday (just made frozen pizzas and salad) so we'll have that tonight :sunny:

Well, we're finally back from the IL"s, so now I have to rummage through the fridge to see what food we actually have--and I'm sure I'll be running to the store this afternoon! So I guess my answer is--I don't know yet what's for dinner--if I come up with anything spectacular I'll let ya'll know!

Are you going to do it from start to finish in 30 minutes. ;)

We're having chicken in spicy pepper cream and probably the broccoli we didn't make last night.

Tonight we are having lots of vegetables--roasted cauliflower, roasted green beans with carmelized shallots, seared spinach, some bourbon whipped sweet potatoes leftover from Sunday's dinner, roasted red onions with rosemary, and cornbread.

DH has a tobacco growers meeting to go to this evening, and I did not see that there is dinner included ( any of the meeting generally include dinner because it is tough to drag farmers away this time of year) so I am just having chicken and rice with veggies. He can eat and run, and I can eat and then read.

This past weekend DH and I put our corn on the cob in some aluminum foil and put in on the grill for 20 min while cooking some steaks... They came off perfect - juicy and sweet. Slop some butter and pepper on those and they were great!

Tonight we are having sub sandwiches - deli meats and cheeses, lettuce tomato, onions and peppers.

I'm lovin this thread - but I'm noticin way too many chicken recipes. DH is picky eater and gets tired of chicken - he wants beef, and steaks (hates pork chops and doesn't dig on seafood)
Any ideas for ground beef or steak recipes??? Feel free to IM me too with ideas!
You guys are great :thumbsup2

Chinese food! Don't feel like cooking and a friend of mine had surgery last Friday and wants me to come sit with her tonight while her hubby and the kids go to church.

A Homemade Pot Pie from my new employer (yummy) and the kids are having french bread pizzas.
DH made one last week and I came home and only found three bites left for me. each one is supposed to serve two!
