Thanks for all your help and putting up with me with all this wedding stuff.
Nancy, I can't find your post that told me where I need to go in Mystic...can you tell me again?
I am taking my Mom for a dress tomorrow. My Dsis told me to be very patient, which I tend not to be...I have to pray real hard for patience tonight...
Lauren-I love the wedding plans! Keep posting them, please.
The place is called Abbots and it is in Noank. It is a lobster shack and the food is really good, but really rustic. I'll see if I can find out more, I haven't been there in years, the time we went it was a disaster for my poor DH. Once again he came in second to cooked food

Now as to you Mom, take a little step back and it will be okay. In the end it is just a dress.
I'm praying for patience for you sweetie, cherish your Mom while you still have her!![]()
OK, here goes I think I can post a pic of my Baby boy Kyle and his Babe Abi:
Oh my gosh, what a handsome son you have! Abi is adorable and the make a cute couple. Proms and parties must be so much fun for you.
Oh, thank you Kathy. I do have patience with my Mom...I am just very stressed lately. She actually wants to wear something from her closet, which she has beautiful clothes but has lost alot of weight and nothing fits right.
Lauren, when my niece got married I took my Mom shopping and found her a beautiful champagne pant suit. Then my DD got married and she wanted to wear it again. Okay, it still fit and she looked lovely in it. Then my nephew got married. This is at least 5 years after she wore it the first time, and she wants to wear it again. My Brother is horrified. A little chat with my Sis IL and Mom is once again shining in her pantsuit. My youngest was the last to marry and he asked her to wear the "Wedding Suit". The only ruckus was when she refused to let me take it to the cleaners,

My point is that Moms are eccentric and that is what makes them unique. Whatever your Mom wears will be fine because she is your Mom and the people who are celebrating your wedding will love and respect her if she showed up in shorts.

We went blueberry pickin' today, so we had a dessert(not usual for us!!)-vanilla ice cream with a warm blueberry sauce the owner of the blueberry farm gave me. I used sucanat(to make me feel a little better about it!), but it still was high in sugar! YUM!!

I have been whining because our BB season is not in full swing until July and I can't wait! We are just starting to see native strawberries. I can't wait until the pick your own farms open!
I have added your sauce recipe to my file. Thank you!
