We're headed to a bday party today, so it will be a cookout for a late lunch. So dinner will probably be something light--or game food! Go Arkansas!!! (that's for you TigerKat! ;) )

Go TIGERS!! You and I will have fun on gameday when we "face-off" for the boot! :woohoo: Oops, never mind I'll be at Disney. I'll be sure and PM you when I get home to brag about our victory! ;)

My boss did Glynis's Pot Roast again but used a boneless pork loin and said it was even better! He did it for 8 hours in the crockpot on low.

Lunch is albacore tuna salad on mini croissants.
Dinner will be hamburgers and potato salad. Chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Last night was Chicken and Rice Casserole (Paula Deen) that was pretty good. I froze leftovers to give it the "freezer worthy" test.

It is a beautiful day today! We are grilling porterhouse steaks, and I am also making a wild mushroom risotto, eggplant sticks, broccoli, and an arugula salad with pomegranete seeds and pecans.

I have hamburger meet thawing out not sure what I am going to make out of it.

DH and I are taking the 4 kids to see Disney on Ice this afternoon. After that, we'll take everyone out for dinner. I'm hoping for Hometown Buffet! We'll see. So, I get a day out of the kitchen!!!

Tomorrow I'm doing the Enchilada Pie from this thread. I love using my crockpot!!!

Well, DD and I took DGD to the movie, which was really cute, and then to Friendly's for honey BBQ supermelts and mac and cheese with a hot dog for DGD.

I have ground chicken for mexican lasagna if I am rushed tomorrow. I like a nice Sunday dinner, but I never got my Mom's hair done today. She was really tired, still recovering from a Dr visit yesterday. I will do it tomorrow so that she has some time to rest.

I am thinking of you and your Mom and saying prayers. My Mom is doing pretty well, at least well enough for me to feel comfortable leaving next week. I'll talk with you before then, I'm sure.

WFD 11-12-06 ??????

We are having garlic roast beef, whipped potatoes, green beans almondine and baby peas. Big Sunday dinner kinda thing here.

As Lindsay would say- "WFD at your house?"

We are having grilled steaks and salad...trying to be a little better after eating everthing in sight this weekend!

I may finally make the chicken I've been meaning to make for the past few days--Friday ended up going out for pizza, and yesterday ended up out at a sports bar watching the game. So since I've been off of cooking for 2 days, guess it's time to get back in the game.

nucpharm - your pic of the little ones makes me smile when I see it! So adorable!!

Well I talked DH into letting me back in the kitchen later today doing grilled ribeyes and Glynis's ranch potato salad (we like it baked and served warm as a side dish) YUMMO!!

:thumbsup2

I'm making the six can casserole from this thread. We're going to a pot luck, and I figured that this would be easy and good for all the kids that will be there. I'm also making some peanut butter cookies for dessert.

We're having roast beef and carrots (in the crockpot), steamed broccoli (later to be run in the oven to melt some feta cheese over it), mashed potatoes. For dessert I made a wonderful cherry pie that I'll heat up and put some french vanilla ice cream on top! Yummy!! :)

Sunday linner (at halftime of course) is going to be linguini with clam sauce (I have to go back and look at the recipe index and see if I've posted this already, it's really good), plus an arugula salad with lemon, parmesean, and walnuts, and some crusty bread for dipping in the clam sauce. Probably some chianti too, I have to see what we have in the house.

Go Patriots!

Hungarian goulash over noodles and coconut custard pie for dessert.

Thanks! I've always said it's a good thing they're cute, b/c some days I might've just traded them in on a new model! ;)

My mom informed me on Friday that my dad would rather have Thanksgiving dinner at their house instead of here. I tried to put on my "I'm so disappointed face" BUT inside I was doing the happy dance  Now, I don't have to worry about cleaning and cooking--just required to bring a couple sides and a dessert. So, I'm thinking the Foccacia dressing with sausage and fennel in the Williams Sonoma thanksgiving recipe booklet, Cooking light's Sweet potato casserole and Cooking Lights Cranberry Cherry Crumble. Also going to pick up some of Williams Sonoma's Cranberry Sauce--Yummo!

I think I am having a mexican lasagna and a green salad tonight. It is subject to change because DH is taking tobacco down and has no idea how long he will be at the sheds. I don't know if he is coming home for dinner, he says tart without him. He doesn't know if I should bring dinner down for the guys or if he will bring them home for dinner. I usually get next to no notice so wish me kuck.

We had our Sunday dinner at 2pm. The Roast Beef was cooked PERFECTLY if I do say so myself ;) I decided I wanted something sweet so now I am making a TollHouse Pie. I'd like to put nuts in it- but nobody else in the house likes them.
