"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

More than that! It took THREE SEASONS! :rotfl2:

Anyone else find it funny that Sookie "grows a spine" then goes off to Fairyland? :lmao: Just thought I'd :stir:

You better be careful. We have Tag Fairies here. You don't want to make the Tag Fairies mad. They can mess with a tag you don't have yet. :duck: :scared1:

It would suit me fine if Tara was driving into the sunset to never return. I just don't like her character's plots, except for Franklin. The exorcism and Eggs I could have done without.

I love LaLa, though! I'm very interested to see what's to come with he and Jesus. But I do think he needs more of his SPARKLE back.

I was glad to see Sookie get a little devilish and treat Russell that way. It's about time she start to become the no-nonsense, strong person she's meant to be. I'm not excited to see her ditch Bill, but if it brings us closer to nakie Eric, I'll take it!

I have to say I always pictured Claudine as the actress that played the Maenad last season.

You don't think someone abducting you, tying your boyfriend down with silver, being held down while being draining you without your permission, which I think would be akin to rape, you almost die if your boyfriend hadn't save you, and this same Russell is planing on continually draining you for your fairy blood isn't enough the change a person's attitude and demeanor? :confused3

What show were you watching?

Well, she definitely deserved to be a little crazy, I'll give you that. But the whole hateful, pouring Talbot down the garbage disposal and laughing while Russell freaks out was way out of character for her.

The whole yelling I hate you at them, that seemed like her. I don't know, I just think she basically overacted during this episode. Maybe that colored my thoughts. Plus, I have to be honest, I felt so sorry for Russell.

I agree with you, but I see their point. The "book" Sookie wasn't like that...she always felt bad for everyone, even if she knew they didn't deserve it. And she definitely would not have flushed Talbot down the drain...then laughed about it to boot.
Yeah, what Simba22 said.
Isn't that called being wimpy? The TV Sookie is wimpy enough with Bill & everyone leading her around and doing things to her. I'm glad she finally got a spine.
I don't see going psychotic as growing a spine. I don't see being kind to others and trying to see the good in everyone/thing wimpy, either. Yes, Sookie has been wimpy and completely not what she was like in the books, but she never went all out psycho in the books and I didn't expect her to be that way on the show. She always tried to be the strong woman her gran wanted her to be while still maintaining her manners.

Agreed. I could see her threatening to dispose of Talbot, but not actually doing it.

I agree, very out of character for book Sookie, she wouldn't have done that, and yes I felt bad for Russell when Talbot went down the drain:sick:

Tony Soprano was nothing to look at, but that show was still amazing.

I really like Buscemi, and I like the premise of the show. I'll definitely be watching!

we are watching boardwalk empire too, my dh read the book and said it was really good:thumbsup2

Ditto. DH and I can't STAND Tara! I wish she'd stay gone!

It IS Mae...did they call her soemthing else?? :confused3

Thanks. I thought mama said Tara Renee (which is my first and middle, so I was just wondering!);) My hubby looked at me and said, "her name is Tara Renee?" But I wasn't sure and I couldn't completely understand the mother.

That is good news. I hope they stay close to the book as I love her step bro.

Have you read her other series?? They are just as good if not better but she is not continuing them. Lily Bard is a cleaning lady with a lot of spunk and history. Aurora Teagarden is a librarian with a penchant for solving murders and she sure finds a lot of them to solve. Give them a try if you haven't already.

True Blood can't get here too soon!!

True Blood can't get here too soon!!

ITA! I can't wait!

I'm following a few of the fan sites on Twitter, and as an April Fool's joke, one of them posted that the infamous shower scene from book 4 was going to be modified to be between Sookie and Alcide, instead of Eric. People FLIPPED OUT!! The site had to come out and admit that it was an April Fool's joke because they were getting so much mail about it.

Even I admit, when I read it, I got REALLY mad! But then I remembered it was April 1st and I thought it was probably a joke... I'm glad they confirmed it though!

After renting Season's 1 & 2 I finally broke down and ordered HBO so I could watch Season 3....and then be up to date for Season 4. Even though I enjoy looking at Alcide...I am really looking forward to Sookie and Eric!!! Do they get together in Season 3 at all or do I have to wait until Season 4??

I just had a Dexter marathon after my sister told me I would love it, she was right on the mark with that. She also got me hooked on TB

I have been watching TB season one on demand just to get a lil Eric fix, like they say on the promos "waiting sucks".
