2. Alan Ball is placing gratuitous gay sex into the mix for the gay fans.

Overall, I liked last night's episode. Can't wait for more!

I would say that it is the fans of "fanfics". Oh yea, I don't read but there is a whole genre out there with people writing the fanfics.

If the first episode is the true introduction for this season of True Blood, I am all for it! Great, great, episode.

And the explanation for Sam's dream is, indeed, the fact that he has a lot of Bill's blood in him now.

Now I can't wait until next Sunday!

That was soooo good.

I am glad that Alan Ball didn't tease us with the naked Eric thing, but had it in the first episode.

I think the dream Sam is having of Bill is similar to Sookie's of Eric. Just a side effect to drinking someone's blood. I have to say it was hot though!

The wolves were great. If you watched the Postmortem it showed they decided to use real wolves. They are gorgeous animals.

I don't like how they are having Tara's storyline going. She's a strong woman and I am hoping she snaps out of this and gets her feisty self back.

I have to respectfully disagree with a PP about the show following the book more closely. I like it better since it doesn't and it keeps you guessing.

I can't wait for next week. Maybe we will get lucky with naked Alcide!

Last season, Sookie asked Lafayette if he was having dreams about Eric, since he had had Eric's blood, too. Lafayette said yes, very erotic Eric dreams- which was disturbing. because he hated Eric so much.

Sookie has been having dreams about Eric (hot ones!!!!!). Sam is now having the same kinds of dreams about Bill, because he had to take quite a lot of his blood to heal from the knife wounds Eggs and Maryanne inflicted. It's just a side-effect of ingesting vampire blood.

When Sookie finds out why Bill came to Bon Temps in the first place, she will realize that she was so attracted to him partly because he gave her his blood the first night he met her.

I too loved Eric's entrance, if I recall correctly, he said he had been at it for 6 hrs, wow what stamina! I hate waiting a full week, might have to watch it again on demand!
