"The Official 'True Blood' Vampire Thread" ...spoilers included.

I LOVE THIS SHOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry, I get a bit hyped up after my weekly Eric dose:love:

Such a good episode. Looking forward to more werewolves:banana:

I can't wait for next week. Who is the vampire who is hooking up with Tanya? I can't recall him from the books.

Now I am going to watch the new series The Gates, for more vampire fix!

I would try Silver bullets!

I thought silver is to kill vampires. They kill werewolves, too? I'd hate to shoot and miss and accidentally kill a good vampire instead.

I love Lafayette's fierce love for Tara. :thumbsup2

Oh, I really loved this episode. Loved the way they made fun of the way Bill says, "Sookie." :lmao: I find him so annoying.

The vampire with Tara is Franklin Mott who was pretty controlling and creepy if I remember correctly from the books.

So, who found the folder about Sookie in Bill's house? Was it Eric or Franklin? Or perhaps was it Alcide? Do you think the wolf in Sookie's house is Alcide? I'm hoping that they follow the books in that Sookie finds out why Bill started dating her--it seems as though they're headed that way what with Russell's comments and the folder.

And I'm going to be a bit disappointed if Calvin Norris is a bad guy. I had an issue with him screaming obscenities at the meth lab bust in Hotshot. ;)

Oh, and Alfre Woodard did a great job as Lafayette's mom.

You're right about Franklin. Didn't he also dote money on Tara to get her under his control?

I don't think that the wolf in Sookie's house was Alcide. Doesn't Eric bring him in to help protect Sookie? It's been so long since I've read the books, but I don't think that Alcide just comes lurking in Sookie's house, plus, Eric seemed pretty adament about getting into Sookie's house to protect her from the wolf.

Calvin was always very protective of his community. I'd guess that's why he'd be screaming at the cops for invading his turf. He looks like he has a better physique than what was described in the books. I guess because it's HBO. ;)

Crystal looked just like I pictured she would.

I missed nekkid Eric last. Sam is a poor substitute for Eric in that department.

So, are we supposed to believe that Sookie is not the first human that Eric has crushed on? He gave into that female werewolf pretty easily and was admonished by Godric. He was not a young vamp at that point either since Eric is more than a thousand years old and WWII was not so long ago.

Hi! I am new to this thread!! Some things I must say (SPOILERS FOR EPISODE 3.2):

1. I thought this episode was 10x better than the first of the season, which I was disappointed in with the exception of naked Eric.

2. Eric (MY FAVORITE CHARACTER OMG) ERIC ERIC!!! ERIC!!!!!!!!!!! That is all I have to say.

3. Tara is so annoying, always been my least favorite character, but I actually felt bad for her this episode.

4. Lafayette is my favorite character (second to Eric) and it was so great to see a softer side of him in this ep but still have him be his sassy self when necessary.

5. I got a kick out of all the blood dishes they brought out Bill.

6. Pam is so fierce and fabulous, I wish she was on the show more.

7. I don't... care about this whole werewolf thing. Really. I hope I get more into it because I HATED the Maryann storyline last season. I was so into the whole vampires in Dallas thing with Sookie, Eric, Bill, Godric, Lorena, etc... and every time they'd flash back to Bon Temps I would just roll my eyes. It was awful. So I hope this whole werewolf thing is better than that. I have not read the books (please no book spoilers if you reply to me!) so I have no clue.

8. I LOVE JESSICA OMG and I think the whole "new vampire trying to figure things out" is fascinating, I wish there was more of it. The scene between her and Pam in the bathroom at Fangtasia was so good.

9. Sam finding his family was interesting...ish. I don't know, he feels so disconnected from everything else that's going on. The scene where he ran with his brother and they were both dogs was awesome, though.

10. Poor Jason getting kneed in the...what word can I use for this here on the DIS? Well, you know what I mean. Interesting storyline with the girl he saw ran away. I recognized that actress from an episode of Masters of Horror, so I looked her up and it says she's in nine episodes! I can't wait to see what happens there!!

Overall.. AMAZING and i'm so excited to see what happens. Also: HUNG comes back next week! Anyone watch that? I love it! We need a Hung thread!

You're right about Franklin. Didn't he also dote money on Tara to get her under his control?

I just remember Sookie borrowing an outfit from Tara's house while Tara was gone and she barely got out of the house again after surprising Franklin. Isn't he also the one that kind of roped Tara into that group sex thing which featured Eric in pink spandex? :rotfl:

I don't think that the wolf in Sookie's house was Alcide. Doesn't Eric bring him in to help protect Sookie? It's been so long since I've read the books, but I don't think that Alcide just comes lurking in Sookie's house, plus, Eric seemed pretty adament about getting into Sookie's house to protect her from the wolf.

Eric had Alcide help Sookie get into the shifter scene to help find Bill, I think. He took her to the bars and introduced her as his girlfriend and that's how she ticked off Debbie Pelt. I don't know why I got the feeling that the wolf in the house was Alcide but I did. I'll have to wait till next week to find out! :lmao:

Calvin was always very protective of his community. I'd guess that's why he'd be screaming at the cops for invading his turf. He looks like he has a better physique than what was described in the books. I guess because it's HBO. ;)

I remember him as being described as an older guy but still handsome and fit. It was just the yelling that kind of went against the picture I had of him as a polite, responsible guy. In the books, I don't think he'd have supported having a meth lab in the community.

Crystal looked just like I pictured she would.

:thumbsup2 Me, too!

Amen, sister.

So, are we supposed to believe that Sookie is not the first human that Eric has crushed on? He gave into that female werewolf pretty easily and was admonished by Godric. He was not a young vamp at that point either since Eric is more than a thousand years old and WWII was not so long ago.

I was a bit traumatized when I realized that Eric was in an SS uniform. WTH?

I have not read the books but the wolf stalking Sookie, may have been protecting her from Eric? They gave the illusion that the wolf was after Sookie, but I suspect otherwise. We will see.

Then again the foreshadowing last week had Bill telling Sookie that he was staying put. So the wolf could have been a threat. Not sure what to think.

As far as the Vamps in WW2, I just watched "Wolverine" with Jackman and he and his brother fought in all the wars. That scene reminded of that that movie.

And yes I also watched "The Gates".

I was a bit traumatized when I realized that Eric was in an SS uniform. WTH?

What I got out of that is that Eric was killing off the SS wolves, he was like a spy. I think the wolves were "Nazi's" and not the vamps. Although the wolf gal did say that they were following the orders of a vamp. Eric and Godric were trying to find out who that was.

I guess they are pointing at the "King". Not sure.

I thought the whole maenad thing that was in the books was far superior to what they did on TV. I hope the wolf story stays true to the books because the story is really good. If they do, you will not be disappointed, disneygirl.

Was The Gates any good? I DVRd it but I had to watch the last episode of The Tudors after TB last night, plus, I hate commercials, so I like to record and FF through them.

I think it was Franklin since they made a point of showing his boots at Bill's house, then again at Merlotte's.

Biggest laugh for us was Sookie's line about missing Bill coming into her house and saying, "Sook-eh!" :rotfl2:

So, who took the body from the sleeping space? I was thinking maybe Pam, but now I think it was Hoyt and I know how he disposed of the body (from the previews for next week).

Another great episode but it went by too fast. I was stunned when it was over.

So here's my take:
- The wolf in Sookie's house is the same guy she saw at Merlotte's earlier.
- Eric and Godric were posing as SS to hunt down these werewolves and find their leader who apparently is a vampire. They probably don't care about the war and I am sure they feel vampires are superior to all humans anyway and don't get caught up in human events. It was creepy to see them in the SS uniforms though.
- I love they are bringing in Godric. I really liked his character last season.
- Franklin is the guy who was in Bill's house and found the "Sookie file" and he moved Jessica's dead guy (not sure why). They showed his pointy boots while he was setting in the bar.
- Love Lafayette. He's the truth teller in the series.
- No nekkid Eric this episode :headache: but he was still great. Last week he was his usual cocky self, and this one he was much more low key, introspective and honest with Sookie. I love both sides of him though.
- I hope Sam's storyline goes somewhere soon otherwise it will be a bore.

Can't wait for next week!

I agree. The whole meth lab thing is wrong.

I also hope they don't continue to show Bill as being the innocent victim.

More Eric and Pam please!

In an Entertainment Weekly article they noted how Pam will be a featured character this season. :woohoo:

I watched the "Inside the Episode" on HBO's website. I had totally forgotten at Bill's disdain and amazement at the werewolf's name. :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Some interesting stuff in there.

I agree about Calvin in the books, I don't believe he would have supported a meth lab.
he also came across in the books, as polite, and respectful. and I pictured him differently too. like Sam Elliot kind of.

Yes, that's the way I'd pictured him, as well. Right down to Sam Elliot's voice. :thumbsup2

I also didn't like how they introduced Calvin Norris.

Sam Elliott, huh? I don't know why I never thought of him (and THE VOICE). I was thinking Eric Roberts for some reason.

So, who found the folder about Sookie in Bill's house? Was it Eric or Franklin?

Oh, and Alfre Woodard did a great job as Lafayette's mom.

It couldn't have been Eric. He hadn't been invited into the house yet.

I was a bit traumatized when I realized that Eric was in an SS uniform. WTH?

Eric & Godric weren't working for the SS. They were just costumes to them. They did it to hide themselves and fit in. They had their own wolf finding agenda.
