Modify - step by step? Please help

So apparently I'm too stupid to modify online?

I have a reservation. I want to drop the first night. How do I do it?

I went into my dashboard
I found the reservation
I clicked on the reservation
I clicked on View Or Modify Details
When the next window opened, I clicked on Modify next to the type of room and date
I chose the new dates
I did not change the room type or resort
I clicked on check availability
There wasn't anything to click on after that to complete the modification.

I tried a different web browser. Same result.

Instead of deleting cookies, I tried a completely different computer. Same result.

I know that if someone else wants to book, those nights aren't available.

But I should be able to drop one night, shouldn't I?

I am not changing the guests. The resie was, and is, for myself.

What am I doing wrong?

Not sure other than steps look good. After checking availability, the room you had should show on the screen. Clicking it will open up the next drop down indicating it’s available. Continue modifying from there.

Once you choose the dates and you see the room with the point total, you have to click on the room name and it will open up with the book/continue button.
