2007 - The first ever trailer for Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End premieres on ABC's Dancing with the Stars. That's the only time I've ever watched DWTS and it was just to see the POTC trailer!

2006 - An after-hours party is held at Disney's Animal Kingdom for a sneak preview of Expedition Everest, complete with special fireworks and celebrities.

2006 - Expedition Everest: Legend of the Forbidden Mountain officially opens at Disney's Animal Kingdom!!!!! Among the attendees at the opening ceremony are Bob Iger, Zac Efron, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Corbin Bleu, Lucas Grabeel, Monique Coleman, Aly & AJ, Dylan & Cole Sprouse, Kyle & Christopher Massey, Jay Rasulo, Isabela Rossalini, John Cleese, and others. Also in 2006 - A special presentation is held in the Festival of the Lion King Theater at Disney's Animal Kingdom that officially announces that Finding Nemo: The Musical will be opening!

1994- Food Rocks opens at Epcot (Anybody know what it is or was?)

Located in EPCOT's Land Pavillion, Food Rocks was preceded by "Kitchen Kaberet". Food Rocks featured reworked lyrics by popular artists i.e. "The Refrigerator Police", "Chubby Chedder", "The Peach Boys", etc. to convey nutritional messages about reading food labels, a healthy diet and eating in moderation.
Personally, I thought it was hilarious! However, the attraction closed in 2004 to make way for Soarin.
