Great review!!! My husband is looking forward to this ride. I have a question about the ride cars. Do they have restraints of any kind? What is the seat size like? I guess I'm asking if larger people will fit ok? Thanks!

Where is the review? I see where it was supposed to be.

I am going end of June/July and I know it will be up by then. What ride is it similar to? How long does it take? Is it where Back to the Future was?

What does BTTF stand for? This is our first family trip to IO/US and whatever BTTF stands for sounds like the kind of kind of ride that I want to avoid with the motion sickness and all. Where is the ride located and what kind of a ride is it?

Stepdisney, BTTF was the Back to the Future ride that the Simpsons replaced.

It's a simulator. The car moves up and down, side to side, etc but doesn't really go anywhere.

It's won't be officially open, but it may be in technical rehearsal. If it is, then ride it!

I am hopeful to catch one of these while there ... We are there the 1st till the 3rd and well I am so we are missing the opening ..

There are 2 rows, and each row has their own lapbar. They do have to come down to a certain area to be considered locked, but it's a pretty gracious amounts they allow.

Cannot wait to be one of the first people to try this ride! The only downer is that we arrive this Saturday, and have a 21 day ticket for disney and a 2 week flexticket. In order for it to be valid for the official opening of the Simpsons, we're going to have to delay going to Universal Studios (my favourite park!) until the end of next week! Still, could be worse I guess

If the wall is down and there are soft openings then maybe we will get one ... I will have to CROSS EVERYTHING to wish for one huh ...

Oooh, it sounds like so much fun! I really hope there is a sneak preview when we're there. My fiance has never been to Universal and he loves the Simpsons. So I'm another 5/1-5/3 with fingers crossed that we'll be able to ride.

We will be there the same time . Are you staying on site ? we are at the HRH . Good luck with a simpsons preview I hope to get one too
