Does DCL ships have libraries?

There are about 10-15 books there at the moment so it could definitely do with some more (especially as one of them is a Greek Island travel guide…)

Thanks for the information. If anyone is sailing on the Fantasy or the Magic in the next few months and are able to donate a book (something halfway readable) to the ongoing little libraries, that would be great! THANKS! Apparently these lending libraries are still (barely) alive. They are Take a Book, Leave a Book.

Maybe there was more "Take" than "Leave"...

Actually true of a lot of the Little Libraries. I have two friends who are always replenishing from a used book store. Defeats the idea, doesn’t it? Maybe it should be called “Return or Replace”?

I’ll be on the Fantasy in January and can definitely bring some books to donate. I often donate my vacation reads to a local little free library.

Here’s a photo of said “Library” currently on the Fantasy. I brought a few books (but they did weigh down my pack!). Some rather obscure titles and some sailing magazines. It’s a start! If any book lovers are sailing the Fantasy soon, consider bringing a book to donate! Or if you are willing to carry one of mine, DM me and when I get back I can mail you a couple! I am almost done with one of the books I brought with me. Have to admit, I did pause last night to watch High School Musical . . .

I dropped off three books on the Fantasy last Saturday at our first day at sea, which brought the library up to this:


Over the course of the cruise I brought up two more, and all but one of my books had already made a journey to a new home! Definitely saw turnover on other titles as well. Seems like the library is small but mighty
