I just booked!!As of now we are 9/10-9/18 at CR - theme park view! We've never splurged quite so much and if no good discounts come out, that may change - but for now, that's where we are booked! I'm super excited....and hopeful for good deals!
We didn't take a vacation at all this year, so the waiting might be agony, but having actually booked it helps!
Since we got the resort squared away I went ahead and ordered park tickets (trying to sneak that in before a price increase lol)
Did you order your tickets through David's link or another location? I went through Tickets at Work via my employer and got a really good deal...
Awesome! I ordered through Undercover Tourist. Their prices were decent for the ticket type I wanted.
Booked a bounce back for September 19-28 at CSR, business class. We may change to November or December, depending on fall deals, but for right now I'm sticking with the countdown!
Hi September 2016ers! I am writing here as the first official step in making my September 2016 trip come true! I don't live in the States but I will be on the East Coast in September for a family event, and I am planning to detour to The World on the way home. My dates will most likely be September 18 - 21, a Monday - Thursday. I can't stay too long (work, expense, family...) but I also can't NOT go, right?! This will be my 4th trip to WDW. I love love love Epcot. My dream is to stay at the Beach Club Villas renting a studio with points, and maybe taking one non-park day (or a Halloween Party day) to enjoy Stormalong Bay. If I am not able to swing that, then it's a toss up between Boardwalk Villas (studio) renting points, being walking distance to Epcot. Or Pop Century, which paying rack rate is similar in price. Of course, if a PIN code comes to me, that could change things. I am not sure if this will be a solo trip (which is, I admit, something I'd love to do!), or with some family or a friend. But I will update as I figure it out. One thing for sure - I want to go to the MNSSHP (did I get those initials right?). So on this trip, my bucket list items that may be met are: Solo trip, stay in an Epcot area resort, stay in a resort with access to Stormalong Bay, go to MNSSHP. Glad to be on board!
I'm going September 2016
I've just started my own planning thread and will appreciate any input into my planning

Joining in the party here!
We just returned on Saturday 11/21 from 7 nights at AOA in a Lion King Suite. It was our little guy's (16 months old) 1st visit, and it was just like going again for the first time.... he was so excited about everything! We booked a bounce back offer for 9/8-9/16/16 at the Contemporary!
We had a few challenges during this most recent trip... we brought my parents and my MIL, and although it was special having them along, we joked that it was almost like having 3 more kids.(My parents stayed in a separate room, but my MIL stayed with us in the suite.) They were not very self sufficient and needed a lot of help, guidance, and extra bathroom stops! The few times when we broke off and it was just myself, my hubby and our son, it was much easier! Plus we could walk at our normal quick pace without turning around every 2 minutes to make sure we hadn't lost anyone. So needless to say it will just be the 3 of us next time!
The crowds this past trip were also much higher than we expected. We went 5 years ago during the exact same week, and it was very quiet. We were shocked at the difference. It seems everyone figured out our secret week in November... not so secret anymore!
It's so great to have another trip to look forward to! The next couple of months will go by quickly with the holidays, and then once we are in 2016 we will be looking at making all of our ADRs! Very exciting! Plus, we aren't planning on telling anyone for a while that we are going, so at least I can blab about it on here!
Count me in also!! I was just in wdw a couple of weeks ago and had yet another magical vacation! I wasn't even home for a week before I booked our next trip!
We are booked in 3 rooms Sept 3-10th, at the Beach Club!!! We got an amazing offer- I am paying $1,886 for myself for 7 nights, 7 day park hoppers at BC!! Cannot wait! We have never stayed at a deluxe resort, so we are VERY excited to stay at a resort that we have always wanted to stay at. This will be my nieces first trip to WDW, she will be 18 months when we go.. I cannot wait to experience a trip with her!
JKeenz !!!! Glad to have you on board !!! I bet you can't wait to go back with just the 3 of you. I went with mom once and although it was exciting to go, i won't make that mistake again !

thanks! ohhh yes, can't wait to go back with just us!Glad you feel my pain! I feel bad saying it, but it just wasn't a great idea in the end.
I have a question for anyone who has been there in September over the last few years! We went in November in 2010 (week before Thanksgiving) and found the parks near-empty with nearly everything a walk-on. We traveled the same week this year, and found it to be much busier! I was a little taken aback, although I had read here on the DIS that people said it had gotten busier over the last few years.
September has traditionally been a low-crowds time from what I hear, although we've never been. Has this changed over recent years? I think that with kids returning to school around labor day this would continue to be a less crowded time, but interested in hearing any experiences! TIA!
