I thought Mario Lopez & Emmit Smith were fantastic. Enjoyed Monique & Willa Ford. I loved Jerry Springer, he was just so funny. I felt bad for Shanna Moakler, she just looks so miserable worrying about the dancing & probably feeling bad about all she's going through. Hmmmm, expected Harry Hamlin to be a little better.

GREAT opening show tonight, imo! Joey started with a Drew-like Bang but was soon upped by Emmit and then MARIO!! WOW! I think out of the lady stars, Vivica was the best followed closely by someone I can't remember (maybe the young lady from High School Musical)? I also expected more from Harry. You'd think Lisa could've helped him after 'practice'. His dancing was dull and boring. While Tucker should be the 1st to go, I think he really enjoyed his time there. I enjoyed rolling my eyes at him! Jerry Springer totally surprised me! He won't last but, heck, he did ok.

All these are jmho.

TOTALLY agree here! they even did a special on him over on Access Hollywood a couple of weeks ago, so i was thinking he would be a lot better!! but NOPE! That poor gal that is his partner (Ashley Delgrosso or soemthing like that). She wqas stuck with Master P last year and now maybe this could be bad too BUT she had a good first season with Joey McIntyre!

First off will be Tucker, just does not have the crowd following that the others have going for them.

Anyone think that Cheryl could do it again>?? Jerry Rice made it through with the HUGE football following, could Emmit have that too? THEN he can ALSO dance??

Re-watched a few of the dances and i am VERY impressed with Mario, he can REALLY dance! did you see him shaking it???

Yeah. I think Tucker will be the one to go first.

Jerry Springer didn't look too well after his dance. But he didn't do too bad for his first dance. While he certainly won't win, he could last quite a while if his fan base votes for him (like what happened with Master P).

I think that Harry Hamlin would do a lot better if he can just loosen up a lot for the next dance.

I thought that most of them did pretty well for the first dance (except Tucker). I liked Willa Ford's dancing better than Emmitt's though.
When Tom said that someone told him that Emmitt looked like her teddy bear dancing, that's exactly what I thought too.

And for the record, I think that all of the pro men are hot. Although Nick is the one I can honestly say is the least attractive to me. Maksim also sometimes just turns me off.

A terrific show opener! Looks like everybody is into it this year (so long Master P).

I LOVED Mario. Boy has rythym! I think the final 3 will be Mario, Emmitt and Joey.

Tucker is outta here! And Harry Hamlin has NO excuse. He should've donw way better. Lisa Rinna and Louis Van Amstel opened a bunch of dance studios together and everything. She still dances! What gives Harry??

I thought Mario was so cute when they were showing him practicing & he told her he couldn't concentrate because she was so hot. I think Jerry Springer was afraid he was gonna look funny to really enjoy it, but his was really cute. Willa was good. Joey's was good, but a little stiff. He had the disadvantage of being first so he was marked low. Could you tell the judges were waiting for another Stacy Keibler? I was surprised how well Emmit Smith did because he's such a big guy, but he was good. Can't wait for tonight. I think Harry might last a while because Lisa has such a big fan base that's what kept her in so long last year.

Hi all, little new to your thread but I see a few familiar faces.

I love this show - unforutnately I only caught the last hour because I had to see the finale of Big Brother!

I read your hottie pics on the last page, too funny. From the head shots that Jesse is a hottie.

From what I saw, Mario was great. I missed Joey dancing. I love Vivica so I hope she goes far. From the 6 I saw dancing last night I think Mario will be in the finals. Of course I did not see everyone dance. I will have to catch the rest on tonights results show...I am sure they will show the whole dance. I laguhed through Jerry's performance, I did not think he would do as good as he did. Loved him throwing the money at the end - I thought he was going to hand it to the judges though.

Anyways, I will try to be a better poster next week and watch the whole show. LOL.
