I do not remember butter at all but I also have never bought groceries from there before either.

Another option is there might be butter actually in the tiny packets at the quick service you might be able to get? That might be an alternative depending on how much you need.

The general store on the boardwalk has a better selection of groceries. Just bring a cooler bag to bring your stuff back on the skyliner if it's hot out.

Caribbean Beach (easily walkable from RR) also has a decent size store but not as good as Boardwalk.

Honestly by the time you load up in the skyliner, walk over, check out, possibly they dont have everything, walk back, skyliner, then back to the room....

Well you likely could have gotten a Uber/Lyft to Publix or Target.

Thats always been my take especially when Disney prices will always be more than the local grocery store pretty much.

Yeah, I was thinking it’s worth spending the 4 extra dollars to just buy a full box with my delivery. If no one is sure it’s at Riviera I’ll just add it to my list, my vacation time is too short to spend hunting down single bars of butter.

We usually spend the first night around the Boardwalk so we never need to make a special trip over there for groceries, we just pick them up before heading back to RR. Personally, I'd never uber to a grocery store on vacation, that's what I'm on vacation from lol.

If using the quiet pool, is Bar Riva the only option to grab an alcoholic drink? Or do they have CMs walking around the pool taking orders like at Yacht & Beach and Polynesian?

Just took the boat from BWV to Epcot and the Skyliner to Riviera. Took 35 minutes but 15 minutes waiting for the boat.

On only a small sample size of one I thought taking a bus was more enjoyable as taking the Skyliner in some ways.

I was the only person on the Skyliner and it was hot. I realize it was past noon but at the end of the day with max capacity I could imagine it would be uncomfortable.

The resort is beautiful but my immediate thought is the 3 monorail resorts would be my preference.

Staying at BWV now but not enough time there yet to determine any preference

I asked for butter at a quick service and they gave me at least 10 of those little packets.

I guess it depends on which parks you spend a lot of time at. We spend the most time at Epcot, so we really love the skyliner. It is also very convenient to get to other resorts to eat since you (usually) need to stop at a park in between. We use the very short trip from the Riviera to DHS and grab a bus to any resort from there. We like to frequent the resorts to eat, so that is handy for us.

We also like the monorail resorts, but since we don't spend as much time at MK anymore, we usually do a split stay at one of them for a few days but use the longer part of the split at an Epcot resort.

I'm booked for a Deluxe View Studio and really would like a view of the quiet pool/main courtyard. The issue is that I'm a light sleeper. How noisy are the elevators? I don't want to get too specific for my room request.

I'm hesitant to say "Quiet pool view, far from elevator" because then I feel like my chances of getting a room facing the Skyliner queue would greatly increase. I currently have it as "Quiet pool view, high floor".

This is probably the only resort where I'd deal with the elevator noise because the courtyard view is so elegant at night.

Room are quite IMO.

I would just request high floor. I would only be cautious on the quite pool view simply because honestly its going to be nosier on that 1st or 2nd floor than it would be on the 7th floor anywhere when it comes to sleeping.

The elevators drop you in a small lobby, which is not right next to the rooms. We had a room right around the corner from the elevators (the first room around the corner, I believe) and heard no noise. I am an extremely bad sleeper and had no issues at RIV. We were on the 8th floor, so also heard no noise from pools.

This is good to hear. I was stuck directly across from the elevator at AKL and it was pretty awful.

My experience was my Riviera room was very quiet until fireworks time at epcot.

Poly rooms on the other hand... pretty sure I could hear the elevator/people talking from my room all the way at the end of the hall.

I just booked a split stay in March. 4 nights at the VGF and the 3 nights at RR. I booked a studio with a preferred view. I looked at the picturess and read as much info as I could. When I stay at the RR I plan on a down day with no parks and then concentrating on EPCOT. Looking at the room requests I was thinking of requesting a higher floor but can't decide on a room closer to the Lobby or the Skyliner. The resort looks huge so I anticipate a bit of a walk no matter what. Any thoughts?
