I saw the coffee pot in the photos, what size filters does it use? We are planning to bring our own coffee.

AlwaysEeyore said:Nope, we didn't ask. We just greeted the CM with a smile, when she asked how we were that day I told her excited that it was our first trip without the kids and it was our 10 year anniversary trip, I think it was already in the computer she didn't really press to many buttons before she told us.

AlwaysEeyore said:Just a quick update. DH returned last night from our wonderful trip to the Poly. Not only were we upgraded from our standard garden view room we requested, we got the HONEYMOON SUITE! I almost started to cry when the cast member told us. We were in Tonga Suite 4, it is the room on the bottom floor on the right side looking at the building. It was amazing, king size bed, jacuzzi tub and a view of the marina.
We ate at O'hana's one night, it wasn't our type of food but it was good. we both tried the Lapu lapu drink and it made us both loopy, loopy. We ate at Kona for breakfast our last morning it was very good. DH had Tonga Toast and I had blueberry waffles. They gave us complimentry cream puffs on a plate that said congratulations for our anniversary they were also very good.
Unfortunately DH & I also got a stomach bug our 2nd day there and were stuck in the room all day. We were so happy we had such a beautiful room to spend it in but we were unhappy we lost 1-1/2 days of our trip for being sick.
Overall, it was a great trip and would recommend the Poly to anyone.

There will be many FIRST's. First time at Poly concierge, first MVMCP, first time having our children and grandchildren joining us, first time at Victoria and Alberts Chefs Table. Can you tell I'm getting excited?![]()

Time has gone by so fast! I can't wait to hear all about your very special trip.

If you arrive at the Polynesian from 11/30 till the end of '06, you can check in up to ten days prior to your arrival by calling 407-828-7120 between the hours of 6:00am and Midnight.
Can someone please explain to me the value of checking in early? Does that mean if you have $ due upon check-in, they will charge you when you call? How does it affect room assignments or key distribution? If I am checking to the Poly as the 2nd half of a split stay, why might it be beneficial to check-in early, or at least when I first arrive on Disney property?
