Sorry about that.

Don't worry about -- fortunately, the Tigers have sucked almost as much as them and have kept them in the Central. Funny, it looked a month or so ago to be a lock that the Wildcard would also come from the Central. So much for that right now. :headache:

The Mets have been lucky that the Braves went thru some hard times too. But the Braves got better at the trading deadline & that's why I'm not comfortable.

Yeah, and the Twins' 11 runs last night is more than they have scored total in the last week. I wouldn't mind losing games if the offense would at least show up! :sad2:

Fortunately for us, the Indians' and Tigers' struggles have kept us with at least a glimmer of hope, but with the way the Twins are playing... *sigh*

Went to the Marlins game last night and they had an explosion of offense. Dontrelle finally got another win and got himself out of alot of difficult situations.

Wahoo - a 2 game winning streak for the Twinkies!

Ankiel just missed hitting another one tonight...if he hadn't drilled it to the absolute deepest part of the park, it'd have been gone. But I don't think anybody's too upset about that 'cause the MV3 all went deep, something they (Edmonds, Rolen, Pujols) haven't done since April against the Cubs. Cards win 8-3 over the Brewers and are now 3.5 back.

Mets score 5 in the first & ninth, hold on to win, 10-8. Braves win as well, Phils lose, so Braves are back in 2nd place.

Indians are back in a tie for first place. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

If only they could just get Carmona and Sabathia to pitch every other day. ;)

Go O's. Took 2 of 3 from uhh??? (what's that team?) :rotfl2:

Umm... that red team and the other un-namable!! Now if we could have only played this well in the first half of the season.

I'm not complaining mind you... I'm thrilled to see the O's come together as a team!

Mets had a good road trip, 5-1. Lead is now up to 5 games. But they now have a hard home stand--Padres (facing Peavy) & the Dodgers, then they go on the road to face the Phillies & Atlanta. Losing Easley makes the bench weaker. And boy that was hard to watch.

Holy cow, the Brewers had a 6-0 lead over the D-backs last night and what do you know, they actually hung on and won the game 9-0. It's a miracle!!!

Mets blow a 4-1 lead, tie the game at 5 in the bottom of the 8th, Billy Wagner blows the save, but the Mets score 2 in the bottom of the 9th to win! :thumbsup2
