Cabmom - what a beautiful family you have! What great family photos - I don't think we're doing anything this year, I'm so jealous. :teeth:

Joats- Glad you had fun at the party. I’m getting Sunday night blues too!

BNB- Oh yeah, I still changed a dirty diaper today, but we made it to the potty twice, and every little bit helps. I won’t get discouraged. I’m glad I got her to do it at all. Yesterday she was so fascinated at sitting on the potty I wasn’t sure she’d do it! Of course the seat I have has the Winnie the Pooh characters on it and she wants to pull them off of it.
Gosh, do boys get crushes at that age? Maybe she’s just a good air hockey player. My DSis(16) only started noticing boys a couple of years ago.. like age 14.

Nucpharm- Boo at the Zoo sounds like fun.

Tasha- Great pictures of Kylie. I’m so impressed that she loved the animals. DSis(16) was terrified of goats and sheep as a kid. I have no idea why.

Fabumouse- Pretty funny that your DH is going to Iceland. One of my friends is also going to Iceland this week! It seems like such a random place to go to.

Cabmom- Great pictures!

I forgot to mention that I finished painting Olivia’s pumpkin on Friday night. I did Pooh, Piglet, Eyeore, and Tigger with a little star and a bee. I took a couple of pictures, which I really need to get DH to upload to the computer. We don’t upload the pictures near enough.

I’ve been going through Olivia’s clothes today and packing up her 3-6 month clothes. It’s been hard. I’m just so sappy. I unpacked the hand-me down clothes from my mom though and found a couple of my old clothes. I can’t wait to dress her in a couple of these things. So it’s bittersweet.

OK, DH is home and we’re going to watch Amazing Race :goodvibes

Hiya Moms!

As FF said a couple weeks ago, I feel like buttah. I had my Coldwater Creek Spa visit today, and had an hour long facial which included a neck/shoulder/arm/scalp massage. It was fab.....and a 45 minute pedicure. I fell asleep for a minute during the pedicure! I was afraid I would snore, so I woke myself up. The only sad part is that I don't think I will be able to return til after Christmas. I want to live there, in that warm plushy robe, with the soft music, and someone getting me a cup of water or tea should I need it....instead I come home to a cluttery home and crazy kids. Ah, such is life!

I had a jam-packed morning- grocery store, lunch with family, drop off Sam and DH at Sam's soccer game, I ran the younger to with me to the other Gymbo to return one top I didn't like after all, back to soccer game, back home, turn around and went to the Spa. Oh- 'funny' story. The young gal doing my return at Gymbo was someone I hadn't seen there before, but yet I recognized her. Since I did a return I had to put my name and address on the slip and she said, "Did you used to work at XYZ school?" I said, "Yes.........." She said, "I went to your daycare there- I remember you Mrs. Black!" :faint: I said, "Where do you go to school now?" (HOPING she would say the high school, lest I feel REALLY old) and she said, "OSU." Me- Wow, I am really getting old. I remember her smiling face coming in the afternoons like it was yesterday. She was such a sweet girl. I said, "Gosh, I thought I recognized you because I'm in here all the darn time!"

And Fab- I think the sales were an in store thing only. I asked the girls at 'my' store today if they had the deals like the downtown stores had and she said they 'pulled' all that stuff! I swear to you know who, if I wasn't rushed I seriously would have asked if I could peek at it in the back. It was THAT good of deals. The one romper I got yesterday was $28.50 retail and I paid $4!

Kim- SO GLAD the coupons worked for you! :cheer2: And Emmy is a doll with that puppy- I hope it all works out for Christmas! You know a kid REALLY wants something when they are just quiet and teary.

GM- :worship: for already starting the training with Olivia! Wow!

GLT- I lol'ed at you and Joats having one too many last night. I am such a lightweight since having kids, it's not even funny.

SL- I'm going to read pt. 2 of your trip report tonight! Looking forward to it!

Cabmom- those pictures are GREAT! What handsome children you have! And your DH and you make a nice looking couple! Thanks for sharing!

Tasha- great pictures! Molly laughed and pointed at the giraffe one. Kylie is so cute! Molly called the pumpkins balls too- cute!

BNB- Oh boy about the 12 year old friend of Jocelyn's! I'm sure it's totally innocent. Leave the shotgun in the corner for now (but loaded :p ). Any young man who comes to visit Molly when she is older will be shaking in their boots. We have two historic shotguns hanging (unloaded of course) in the living room, DH's saber he earned from the war, plus a whole gun safe upstairs filled with goodies. I had to learn the code while DH was gone, cause I didn't have a clue. :teeth:

lissawynn- sorry the weather isn't going to cooperate with your house remodel this week. :sad2: I should have picked Annabel (am I spelling it correctly?) a few things at the one Gymbo yesterday- they had a few darling things in the 3-6 month size in summer clothes for the $4.00 price.

I don't know much else. DH and I traded alone time- as soon as I got home, he left for the movies- he really wanted to see Flags of Our Fathers. I am making the kids Mickey shaped burgers- they had them at our Kroger/Fred Meyer! So cute! I also got some Nemo packaged cheese and I saw something else....oh, it was candy, which we passed up on this time. Halloween is just around the corner and I'm sure we will have our share.

Tasha - tomorrow I will need to show Leif the giraffe picture. I don't think I've mentioned it to you ladies before, but like Madison and the alligator, Leif has a giraffe. And now he has a giraffe pillow, giraffe stuffed animal and giraffe book. I think he'll get a kick out of the picture. Also, we have the same Dora sofa, the kids LOVE it.

How cool to see such an animal up close. It has been so long since we've been to the zoo. However, they do have a free day coming up in November, if it's not too frigid maybe I'll take the kiddos.

Anywho, Tasha, glad you had a great time. Love the pics.

Cabmom- what gorgous boys you have! Love those family photos, who did them for you? You all look so great, what a wonderful family you have.

Val - did you try the pumpkin decorating pieces? I really need to get to the store to buy some for us before they are gone.

Robin - how nice that you were able to spend so much time getting pampered, sounds heavenly :cloud9: That would have been a shocker that a "student" recognized you. Honestly, if you are at gymbo and see anything less than $10 for DD, feel free to pick it up and I'll pay you back! She's a 7/8, loves pink and flowers, hearts and anything girlie. DH REALLY wants her to have pants outfits to wear (long story I'll vent on another day) so if you see anything like that, it'd be great. Thank you.

Bnb - take lots of notes on this whole boy thing so that I can defend my dd when it's her time (I already seeing her playing with the boys and don't dare tell dh). :rolleyes1 Is this the dance you are chaparoning?

GM - I'd love to see those pics of the pumpkins. I have no artistic skills whatsoever.

fab - two weeks is an awfully long time to be without dh. I can't remember, do you have family nearby to help? I'll be here for your emotionally anytime! Funny about the pumpkins :lmao:

nucpharm - hope you had fun with your friends!

joats - I think it's so easy to get baby fever!

Diskim - wow on saving so much $$, please share the tips :thumbsup2

Hope all DIS mom's have a great night and fabulous Monday!

Hi everyone,

Thought I'd share a pic of Aubree I took on Saturday. She is growing so fast - I can't believe she'll be 4 months old soon.

IMG_6062.jpg

I think I shared my medical issue in the Expecting Mommy thread after I had Aubree. I had been having major shortness of breath through 2nd & 3rd trimesters and it got really bad at the end. After delivering Aubree by c-section, they found out that my stomach and intestines were pushed up into my chest due to a paralyzed diaphragm, and I had to be on oxygen for a little over a month after being released. I feel pretty good and haven't had any major shortness of breath or problems since August. Just a little dizziness/fatigue at times.

I have met with a pulmonologist who thinks this was pre-pregnancy condition that was never identified and that the pregnancy made it worse. I've had a CT scan, but I have to have a bunch of x-rays and other tests done on Nov. 1 - not looking forward to it. The doctor said he thinks another pregnancy would probably cause this problem again or it could even be worse.

So... I'm thinking that Aubree may be an only child - I'm already 35 and my energy levels aren't the greatest. DH is understanding thankfully and he was so great about taking care of Aubree when I couldn't in the hospital. He's also very helpful with laundry and grocery shopping even now.

I just can't go through pregnancy complications like that again. I couldn't sleep, lean back or lie flat, talk for very long, or even eat much at the end - and the not being able to breath freaked me out. My oxygen levels were in the 70% range after I delivered, and in September were around 95%. They were also talking about me having congestive heart failure when I was in the hospital, but I don't think that's an issue now. I'm hoping that I don't have to have surgery and that the doctor can just figure out some non-invasive treatment (if any). I guess we'll see.

Don't get me wrong - Aubree was SO worth all the complications!

Sorry to be so long-winded. Just have a lot on my mind and our Disney trip is really helping me look forward to some alone time with DH. We love Aubree so much, but her Mommy & Daddy are excited about our trip by ourselves. I also need to get motivated so I can have the energy to walk around WDW.

I've been trying to get caught up with how everyone's doing. Your kids are so cute!!!!

Anyway - I should probably get to bed now. Aubree will be waking up around 6-7. I kinda enjoy the alone time after she goes to bed for the night. :goodvibes

:teeth: OMG I am so behind with this thread! I have been out of action since Thursday!!!! What's going on with that?!?! I don't think theres any way that I can catch up with you all individually now, so i am going to start a fresh, I did scan some posts and read SL's trippie, and Justhat your pictures are so cute Henry is growing up fast!

Thank you all for the Birthday Wishes for Shelby, she had a lovely day and loads of gifts and things, I will post some pictures when I get 5 minutes, we had friends and family round, I did buffet style food and all of it was gone at the end of the party! I was pleased as I hate trying to find places to keep all of the left over food fresh - we don;t have a very big kitchen or fridge so it's difficult.
Luckily the rain held off and the kids could burn off their energy in the garden, Shelby crawled on the grass and got her white tights all grubby, they are still soaking now!! I don't expect that they will come clean but hey a moms gotta try!

DH is back on to the whole house moving thing again, he has a bee in his bonnet about us moving to a bigger house, except it's gonna cost us like 300K+ so I guess that's about $600,000 US$ ish. It's a lot of money and I am worried about commiting to such an amount, I think we will do a few more sums before we do. The real estate person said that as the house we had looked at was a new build and they are ready for Christmas that the longer we left it to Christmas then the bigger the discount would be that they would give us. It wouldn't be bad if they sold between now and then though as we haven;t got our hearts set on it or anything. The link to the house isn't working now but if you go to www.redrow.co.uk and type in Dickens Heath in the development search and then click on the top development that comes up the house type in the Leamington - it may work later today!

Oh well, I am only in work for three mornings this week as I have Physio this afternoon, tomorrow I am seeing my ob/gyn and Wednesday pm I have a scan, I am sure popular with my co-workers! :teeth: NOT!!

Hope you are all well and I will try and keep up from here on in! :thumbsup2

Morning all! :sunny:

Our group get together last night was fun. Not a big turnout--no biggie! Only prob was (the childcare during our church groups is held at the church) I had to go pick Matthew up b/c he wouldn't stop crying. Nothing wrong with him except he missed mommy--he's such the momma's boy--sometimes it's sweet, but sometimes it's just problematic.

I've got to get ready to go pick up my neice--I'm watching her again this am for a few hours until my mom can get here after a dr. appt. But it's a trade off b/c Dsis is watching the kids for me this afternoon, so I can go for my training.

Okay, so I feel like I"m rambling--must still be sleepy!

alice--glad you had such a nice time!

gems--sounds like the party was a success! Wow on the house prices, hopefully you can figure something out!

glt--glad the wedding was fun and you didn't say anything too offensive ;) If I see anything when I hit Gymbo I'll pick something up for your DD!

tasha--those pics are sooooo cute! My neice also calls pumpkins "balls". It's cute! Hope school is going well!

cabmom--what great pics! You have a beautiful family! :goodvibes Where did you have the pics taken?

wdwbetsy--what a scary situation for you! You have a beautiful daughter! Sending prayers and PD your way for your tests on Nov. 1 :grouphug:

Okay, so I have a question for everyone along those lines--dsis and I are going to have the grandkids portrait taken for a xmas gift for our parents. We don't have a Target portrait studio or a Picture People in Arkansas--unless we go with a professional (to be read way too much money!) it's either Sears or JCPenney--anyone have any experience with either studio--any advice would be welcomed!

HI to everyone else I missed! Need to go throw some clothes on--missed my workout yesterday so I need to get on the treadmill today.

Happy Monday.

I think I popped something weird in my back when we had our pictures done. The photographer asked me to sit a weird way on the floor and I know I heard something pop when I got up. I'm getting too old! My back was killing me all day yesterday. Feels a little better today and I'm going to the chiropractor on Wednesday.

Speaking of the portrait from hell, here it is. Believe me, this was the ONLY one (we had 5 poses) that we all looked at least halfway decent in. I looked better in another pose but BIL's head was cut off so we had to discard that one. Anyway, MIL absolutely loved it and started crying and the whole 9 yards and that was the purpose so at least it was worth it. From l-r: BIL, SIL (DH's sister), DH, me, Lucas.

glt - I've been there with the too much wine at a wedding. Hmmm...the wedding I was just at before our trip, as a matter of fact. I believe I was making kissy faces and bunny ears behind DH's back when he was talking to the couple via the videographer. Embarrassing.

ginamarie - Congrats on the potty success. I have a feeling Lucas will be a late potty trainer. I can't even tell when he's going until afterwards when it smells. He doesn't even pause to do it, just poops on the go.

joats - Glad you had a good time at the party. I have seen my neighbor's daughter's baby, but didn't hold her so I haven't gotten the baby fever yet. I have a couple friends due early next year and I hope I don't get it then. DH and I still want to wait!

BnB - Was the air hockey game a one time thing or is the boy always hanging around Jocelyn? Hope you don't have a budding romance on your hands.

nucpharm - Glad you had a good time at the zoo.

Tasha - Fantastic pictures! Kylie looks like such a little girl. Not like a baby, I mean. I love her hair in those pigtails.

fabumouse - Does your DH travel a lot? Going to Iceland sounds pretty interesting.

cabmom - What a beautiful family you have! I love those portraits - they came out so well.

Alice28 - I'm glad you enjoyed your day of pampering. I still have a $10 spawish gift card that I'm dying to put towards a manicure. I really need to get on that.

WDWBetsy - Aubree is such a doll! Sorry to hear about all your complications, but I'm glad everything turned out ok. :)

Gem - Glad Shelby's party went well. I can't wait to see some pictures.

Hope to check in again later. Bye!

Alice- Glad you had some relaxing time at the spa. It sounds like you needed it. Mickey burger sound really cool. I’m such a sucker for anything Disney.

GLT- It’s really funny, because art was one of my worst subjects in High School. I just couldn’t get into it, but I’ve been painting pumpkins for years now and always get complimented on them.

Betsy- Aubree is adorable! Sorry about all the complications though. Thank goodness you both made it through the pregnancy ok.

Gems- Gosh, $600K! We spent $440K on our house and I’m still boggled over the amount. If someone would have told me 5 years ago that my house would cost close to half a million dollars I would have cracked up.

Nucpharm- It’s so cute that Matthew is a momma’s boy, but I know what you mean about it getting inconvenient. I’m no help with the photographers. We went to JC Penny once, but that was a LONG time ago (like 15 years ago).

SL- I hope the chiropractor helps your back! The photo looks really cute.

I still haven’t finished Olivia’s clothing project. DH is going to roll his eyes at me when he gets home and I still have baby clothes on the living room floor. No luck with the potty this morning. I know she’s going to do it as soon as we get in the car! Olivia’s coming to the office with me today since my mom is having some dental work done. She’s working tonight too, so I’m going to my parents’ house to make sure DSis’ homework gets done.

OK, time to email myself some work so I can finish it at the office. I can’t believe it’s only Monday. It feels like a Thursday or Friday for some reason.

Hi everyone. DH ripped out one of the walls in Jimmy's room and the hall closet yesterday. We're all sleeping in the same bedroom and have a huge plastic tarp covering the gaping hole where the closet and bedroom meet. I broke down and cried last night due to hormones, moving, mess, etc. DH feels bad, but there really isn't anything that can be done about it. I worked my tail off this weekend moving and packing stuff and am really tired. I guess this whole process would be overwhelming w/o being 6 months pg, but couple pg with a toddler, and I'm just a mess.

I'm going to the drs today to see what's the deal with my throat. It's so sore everyday. I am convinced it's strep.

Alice - I did get to Gymbo yesterday and bought 5 summer outfits for Annabel. I don't think one of them was more than $6. I also bought some pjs for Jimmy. I did buy 6-12 months; I was worried the 3-6 stuff might be too small.
Your spa day sounds devine. I could so use one of those right now.

GLT - Glad you didn't say too much after all that wine. I find myself to be very honest after drinking way too much. That hasn't happened for a long time, though.

SL - I can't seem to open your pics here at school. I hope your back feels better.

nucpharm - I had Jimmy's pics done at Penney's once and was happy with how they turned out. I don't think the girl was too into helping me once she realized I wasn't interested in a 100 poses/backgrounds, etc. I do like the pics, though.

Tasha - Great pics of Kylie!

joats - Glad you had a good time at your party.

gems - Glad to hear Shelby's party was a success! I hope you can find your new home at a reasonable price. We're building up b/c it's just too expensive to find anything we like in our area. I just hope I survive the process.

WDWBetsy - Aubree is beautiful!

Ginamarie - I know I'm going to be a little sappy (and I'm not usually like that) when I go through Jimmy's baby things to sell them. He had a few outfits that I loved, which I may keep and have made into a small quilt or something for him. Because almost everything he's ever worn is blue, Annabel won't be getting much in the way of hand-me-downs.

Cabmom - I can't seem to open your pics either. I'm hope to see them when I get home.

fabumouse - Your DH went to Iceland? Very interesting.

I've gotta run. I have some holes to punch in papers before my students arrive.

SL :rotfl2: :lmao: The kissy faces comment did make me laugh! The picture looks nice. It's such a shame that the photographer was awful. I'd complain. There is no excuse to have prof. pics done and for heads to be cut off. It's hard enough to get everyone together. Glad one turned out and mIL is thrilled! you look wonderful btw!!! :thumbsup2

nucpharm - :thumbsup2 Thanks for looking for DD for me!! We ONLY have Sears here. I HATE them, but it's my only choice. I have 3 appts. scheduled with them for the next two months. We always get a family one in November and I want that, plus Leif, and of all three kids and don't want to pay lots. So if I go more frequently I can buy the $10 package each time rather than spending $100 for all the pics.

lissawynn - that was my problem, I was too honest  :grouphug: hugs to you . I know how hormones can make everything seem worse! Do you need to live elsewhere the entire 6 weeks?

Tasha - Leif loved the giraffe pic! :thumbsup2

GM - good luck getting work done today.

gems - the townhouse link didn't work, but I'm sure it looks awesome. I will check back later to see if it's functioning better!

WDWBetsy - great pic of Aubree, have fun planning your trip with DH! Sounds like a much deserved vacation!

OK, have a huge list of things to do, first I have to put Leif to bed. Oh, and switch my shirt, it's on backwards :rotfl: Catch up more later.

OMGosh- WDW Betsy- what an ordeal you have been through! How incredibly scary- I hope they will be able to fix what needs to be fixed without major surgery. Hugs to you! Your daughter Aubree is really sweet and cute!

Lissawynn- I would be physically and emotionally exhausted too if I were you...no wonder you just needed a good cry! I would have! Glad you found some stuff for Annabel at Gymbo- that's great!

SL- I like the picture! You can definitely tell who are the siblings in that group! And that's neat that Lucas has your blue eyes. :sunny: I hope your back gets better ASAP. LOL at Lucas 'pooping on the go' :lmao: - that's Molly too, although sometimes she kind of goes off to a corner and then sure enough- PU a few minutes later! I PRAY she is an earlier trainer than the boys- I would LOVE to be done with diapers a year from now (vs 2 years like the age the boys were!).

Gems- so glad the party went well! Yikes, that's a lot of money for a house, but I do know how expensive things are over your way (at least from what I have read and what my parents told me when they were there for 3 weeks). I hope it works out for the best for you guys!

Nucpharm- I haven't been to church yet with Molly where I am not called out of the service because of her getting in hysterics. It's one of the reasons for our hiatus from church now. I hope your portraits go well too!

GLT- I will be happy to keep an eye out for something cute for your DD next time I am at Gymbo.

Today is a low key day. Just need to do some household tidying. I'm glad, it was such a crazy weekend.

DH looked into some home loans last night on Lending Tree for our home equity thing----I think we will be able to do everything we want next spring. Our home is worth quite a lot more than what we paid for it, and even though we will drain most of the equity out of it, it will bounce right back in when the improvements are done- if that makes sense. We want to finish the basement, replace cabinets/countertops/3 appliances in the kitchen (fridge, washer, dryer), paint the outside of the house and get the two porches enclosed, and hopefully replace the windows too. For 80K. I am hoping that is enough. :goodvibes

hi everyone!

I hope everyone is well. Just a quick post from me. Hopefully I can catch up more later.

I had a great weekend scrapbooking. The house was amazing. It was a 100 year old house with tons of bedrooms, bathrooms and a great scrapbooking room. We could have done without the 2 ladies who would rather have hung out at the bar the whole weekend instead of scrapbook, but whatever! I got 25 pages done!

hi to wdwbetsy! Sorry you had to go through so much during your pregnancy. How scary. Aubree is adorable!

sl - I think the family picture turned out nice. Sorry you only had 1 good one though.

alice - good deals at Gymbo!!

lissawynn - I hope the dr. can help with your throat. I hope you're almost done moving boxes and packing. You sound exhausted, poor thing.

gem - Happy belated birthday to Shelby! Sounds like the party was great!

tasha - Cute pictures!

glt - Tyler was on my lap when I was reading your post. He got all excited over your picture and pointed to it and said "duck". I've been training him on his disney characters for our upcoming trip ;) lol

nucpharm - I've never been to either, but based on friends pics I would vote penny's over Sears

ginamarie - that's great that you are introducing the potty so early. good luck!

cabmom - Great pictures!

ok - I know I'm missing a bunch of people. I need to hop in the shower though.

Talk to you all later!

tamie

I am getting ready to head out to my appointment, but thought I'd check in here quickly before running to the door.

GLT - I am not sure exactly how long we'll need to be out of the house. My DH and BIL are doing most of the work in our new living room and I'm hoping that we can live downstairs while the "finishing" work is done upstairs. Again, DH and BIL are installing the carpet, painting, etc. I am going to speak to the contractor when he comes tomorrow and AGAIN impress upon him the importance of needing this done.

My co-workers laugh when I tell them he said out in six weeks. They're telling me we'll be back in 12. I just hope our contractor knows not to mess with a pregnant woman, especially one who's been put out of her home at the holidays.

TTYL!

What great picutures everyone is posting!

Tasha - Kylie is just a doll. What precious pictures. She looks like such a big girl.

Cabmom - You have a beautiful family. You must be very proud.

WDWbetsy - What a terrible ordeal. You take the cake for the worst pregnancy story I've ever heard. I wouldn't want to have anymore either. Aubree is quite a beauty!

SL - The picture is great! I'm sorry it was so tough to get that one pose. We did a picture with DH's family last year and it was 13 people. It was a nightmare.

Tamie - Wow, 25 pages! I loved scrapbooking in the summer but I can't do it now.

Aidan is being so oppositional lately. He fights me every morning when I take him to the sitter. I feel like I'm going to lose it. I was hoping this job offer from the college would be the thing that would finally put us in a position so I could stay home, but that doesn't seem to be the case at all. DH's friend is on the hiring committee and he told him they are lowballing him. So, not only will the job not be more money, but it would be less than he's making now. I'm just so damn frustrated.

Here are some photos of the kids dressed up for Boo at the Zoo (and one of the fam. as well) check out the cute buckets Tamie made for the kids as part of our exchange gift! :thumbsup2

nucpharm - the kids look so cute!! I'm glad they were able to use their buckets. You look great too!

Your post reminded me that DH and I should probably dress up on Sunday. We are hosting a little halloween party for some friends and kids. Anyone have any good (and easy and cheap) halloween ideas for adults?

diskim - I'm sorry Aidan is fighting you on the day care thing. I'm sorry your DH job offer isn't what you had hoped. Has he officially received the offer? If he has nothing to lose, he might as well counter offer and tell them exactly what he is looking for.

lissawynn - I hope for your sake (and the contractors!) that he's done in 6 weeks!

Hi all :wave2: ,
Tamie,
What about you and dh being whacky tourists for the party? The scrapping weekend sounds wonderful.

Nucpharm,
What great pics of your family for Boo at the Zoo :) . I love the buckets.

Diskim,
I hope the job comes through with more money than you are thinking. I just love the pic of Emily you posted awhile back with the puppy. I think it will be her best Christmas ever :goodvibes .

Lissawynn,
I can't even imagine dealing with all that house stuff while being preggo. That contractor better know what he's talking about for his sake ;) . I'm glad you were able to pick up some cute outfits at Gymbo. That sale sounds great. Too bad I don't have any good stores nearby. Actually, that may be a good thing.

Robin,
I wish we had Mickey burgers around here. Like someone else said, I am a sucker for Disney stuff.

GLT,
I'm glad you and dh had fun at the wedding and you didn't say anything too embarrassing ;) . The pumpkin came out really cute with the add on pieces. Of course DS "designed" him so he has multiple pairs of eyes and ears but it's still cute :rotfl2: .

GM,
Removing outgrown clothes from my kids' rooms always makes me bawl. I'm such a sap about them growing up. That's neat about Olivia going on the potty. I don't even have a potty yet for Katrina  .

SL,
That's ridiculous that a prof. photographer would have shots with people's heads cut off  . I hope you didn't have to pay a sitting fee. I do like the shot you bought though :) . How are things at work? Have they replaced any of the people who have left?

Gems,
I'm so happy that Shelby had a great first birthday princess: ! Looking forward to pics when you have a chance.

WdwBetsy,
Aubree is beautiful and I just love her name :) . You must be very excited to have an adult trip coming up. I'm sorry to hear of all you went through with your pregnancy and I hope you don't need surgery :grouphug: .

Tasha,
I love the pictures of Kylie! She must have had such a great time at the farm and at the "ball" patch.

Hi to everyone I may have missed  .

Well, my weekend was just as busy as I thought it would be. It was fun, though. We took the kids to a corn maze on Saturday and it ended up being really cool. They had horse and carriage rides, face painting, pony rides, an inflatable slide, crafts, balloons, plus the corn maze all for $3 a person :) . Then at dusk they did an amazing fireworks show to rival the 4th of July one. It was a lot of fun. But after soccer, pizza, my jewlery party and the corn maze I was pooped. Dh went out to a bachelor party that night so I vegged on the couch watching "The Beach" (Leonardo DiCaprio is so hot  ).

On Sunday we went to the Christening only intending to stay an hour. Of course since it was over an hour away it still took up most of the day. I did sneak in a nice nap when we got home though ;) . The house was pretty much trashed by this point but much to my surprise DH cleaned while I was at work today :woohoo: . So now I have time to Dis a bit.

We have a lot going on at work. One of the girls is leaving. She is good and I'll miss her. One of the other girls (the one who started around the same time as me) is getting under my skin. She just gets defensive about everything and no one can say anything to her without her getting bent out of shape. It's getting old real fast.

Well, I guess I should go and spend some time with my lovely dh who saved me from a night of cleaning ;) . Talk to you all soon.

WOW!!! How do so many posts get by without a second for me to reply??? Anyway, I've been reading but no time for chatting myself as Carson has been doing his cat-nap thing for the last two days. 15 minutes is about all I ever get at a time... :confused3 :confused3 SO, I 'll try to get back on tomorrow and maybe I'll get a break! But I do want to say that I'm LOVING all of these absolutely adorable pictures!!!!! You all have some beautiful families - aren't we all so blessed?

Well, Hannah needs help with homework and I'd better get to it!
