Hi Moms!

I have a few minutes to catch up now, before the boys come home from the Star Wars exhibit at OMSI (science museum).

BNB- I love toaster strudel! My kids haven't tried it- they are naive with their silly Pop Tars. I found some toaster strudel buried in the freezer two days ago, and thoroughly enjoyed the pastry goodness.

Yikes about your friend and the vegan diet! I had a friend when I was young whose mother was a bit nutty about healthy eating, and guess who FREAKED (like, went overboard) everytime she got to have 'bad' food? I think that promotes a rebellion of sorts in children when they are told of umpteen different foods that they cannot have.

YAY Robert for winning the game!

Justhat- I just can't handle parents like that, sorry, I can't. (paranoid about sugar, TV, anything remotely junk-food). It's called, "Everything is OK in moderation." I would have sat there trying my darndest not to roll my eyes if I was in your shoes. :teeth: I hope you and your mom are able to decide what to do about the Christening without you going crazy! :goodvibes

Joats- Hope you and your DH have a good time at the party tonight, and that the one annoying couple keeps their distance. Cute that Jace just went right into Gma and Gpa's car!

Diz- YIKES about the laptop!!!!!!!! I would have freaked out! Glad your DH was understanding about it, and can get work to fix it.

Alisa- My goodness you are a busy bee- did you bonk your DH for being a dork? Hope so! :teeth:

SL- How did the portrait session go? Can we preview them soon? I bet they are great.

Val- how did your busy day go? How did the soccer game go?

Tasha- Glad Kylie is liking her new daycare! You sound like you are keeping darn busy! How was Buffalo Park? about your DH's raise....

I guess my DH may be due for a raise soon, if he takes over this other dept they want him to. It will be another $300-400 a month if it happens. Doesn't seem like quite enough, since it will essentially be supervising twice as many people as he already does. Oh well, he seems ok with it. I just hope it happens in the next couple of months. I would love that raise to be in place by the time we go to Florida. :sunny:

OK, well I think I caught up! I don't know what to do for dinner. We have been trying to eat everything in the freezer before I go stock up this week. We literally have no meat except for some wonton filling I made two weeks ago, and two racks of lamb ribs. Nice. But I have some frozen meals I can heat up. I just am trying to be more cognizant of spending money, and I hate that sometimes I grocery shop when I don't really need to. Hence, my creativity and our closeness to Old Mother Hubbard! Chili's is SO calling my name for dinner....I doubt DH will be game though. Hmmmmmmm....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELBY!!

SL- Going to take a look at your trippie when I’m done posting here.

GLT- Sounds like a busy weekend for you guys.

Tasha- Glad to hear that Kylie is doing well in her daycare program. I know what you mean about raises. A lot of companies talk about how great your raise is going to be and then give you an extra $.02 an hour.

Lissawynn- Sorry you have so much to get done for the contractors.

Justhat- Wow, great job with the baking! Sorry your MIL is being so stubborn. It sounds like she just really loves to throw extravagant parties. I know a couple of people like that.

Dizagain- I would have freaked out over the laptop thing. My DBro & DSis had an incident with my mom’s laptop last year and she’s still kinda steamed about it.

Alice- Great deals at Gymbo :)

Joats- I hope you make it through the party!

We had a good night last night. My siblings came over and watched “Over the Hedge.” Then DBro decided that he wanted to go home (which was fine, because my parents were going to stop over and check on him anyway). So just DSis stayed for the night. She was singing her “special song for Olivia,” which makes me get all teary.

We went to the passport office this morning and took care of Olivia’s passport application. It was pretty painless. Then we spent a lot of time cleaning the house, and making dinner. I made the maui scalloped potato recipe from the allears website with some beef teriyaki and broccoli. Yum! Then DH made a chocolate peanut-butter shake for us. Double Yum! Olivia loved her bath tonight. She cried when it was time to come out.

I tried putting her on the potty seat today to get her used to it. She’s really interested in the bathroom, but not so much at doing her business yet.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHELBY!! party: :cake: :bday:

Gems - Shelby has the same birthday as my grandmother!

I had a nonstop day today. I left the house at 6:30 am to take DH's care to the inspection station. They failed me for a bald tire which we hadn't noticed. The tire was so bad that I took it right over to Sears and had all new tires put on the car. My mom picked me up and we ran errands. I bought all of Aidan's Christmas presents. Then, we went to Alex's soccer game and froze our behinds off. Then, I came home and cleaned. We went back out and picked up DH's car and then went to his niece's house to see her puppies. Emily is totally in love with one of the puppies. She named it Irish. She was so cute. Her eyes kept welling up with tears. She didn't even ask us for the dog or whine or anything. She just got all teary eyed. I'm posting a picture of her with the puppy. Aidan kept talking to the puppies and pointing at them. I think I have DH convinced to let her have the dog. He's just worried about it adding even more stress on me. I told him that Emily gets home 15 minutes after me, so she'll always be home to take care of the dog. I want to suprise her and pick him up on Christmas Eve but I feel so bad to string her along! It will be the best Christmas ever.

I'm going to get caught up on all the posts now.

Ugh. What a long day. The portrait session was horrible. Lucas wouldn't nap at his normal time so when he finally did we ended up having to wake him to go to the appointment. Once we were there, he was in a foul mood and wouldn't smile once. He was actually trying to get away and half the pictures showed that. The girl who took them was terrible. She placed us in weird positions so one person always looked kind of out in no man's land and if she didn't cut Lucas off at the chin, she cut my BIL's head off. There was one halfway decent shot which we bought. There are no online previews or anything but DH might scan it tomorrow so I may have a copy on the computer.

Dinner was good. We ended up finding a nice, wood covered photo album for my parents that we figured they could put their photos from Italy in.

glt - Hope the kids got their rooms cleaned.

lissawynn - 6 weeks is a long time to be out of your own home. Where will you be staying? I hope you get to go back by Christmas.

justhat - Glad the sweets went over so well. How rude of all those guests to just take off. You'd think someone else would have stayed to help clean up.

dizagain - Wow, your DH took that lemonade spill pretty calmly. DH did that to my laptop with a glass of water a couple years ago and I was pretty peeved.

BnB - Congrats to Robert's team! :cheer2:

Alice28 - Congrats on the Gymbo score!

joats - Hope Jace enjoys his night away from home. Have fun at the party and I hope the know it all and the jerk aren't too annoying.

Ginamarie - Lucas loves his bath, too. I often have to bribe him with a yogurt drink to get him out. How sweet of your sister to have a special song for Olivia.

DisKim - Aw, Emily looks so sweet with the puppy.

Tomorrow we were going to go to the outlets but my friend called begging me to help her with invitations to her son's bday party. I figure we can go to the outlets anytime. The weekend's halfway over. :guilty:

I just put Madison in bed a little while ago. I let her stay up later because around 6:30 I told her I was going upstairs to change Henry into his pjs and when we came back down Madison looked up at me and her face just fell. She said "Mommy, why are you holding Henry?" I guess she thought I was changing him and putting him right in his bed and that she'd have me to herself. I felt kinda bad for her cause she never complains about having to share my time and overall she's really very nice to Henry, but I guess she really needed Mommy time. He went to bed about 15 minutes after that so I spent the rest of the night playing with her and then we watch a JoJo's Circus dvd before she went to bed. My husband has 2 days off this week so I think I'll use one of them to take her out alone and then she can have a Daddy day the other day.

Kim - Emily looks so cute with that puppy. She's convinced me you should get one. ;) Really, she's 10 (right?) so I think that's a good age to get a pet and I think the responsibility is a good thing too. And besides all that, the puppy is so cute!!

SL - your photo shoot sounds like it was a disaster. At least you were able to get one good shot out of it. I haven't read your trip report yet but I definitely will! I love reading about other people's trips (specifically people I "know"), plus I know it will get me excited about my own trip! :)

Gina - your dinner sounds like it was so good! I never realized Allears had menus-I'll have to check that out. Good for you trying to get Olivia used to the potty so young! Madison's teacher worked in a daycare that put kids on the potty as soon as they could sit up and they'd generally train much younger.

Alice - I completely agree with you about kids going nutty with 'bad' foods when they're not allowed any, ever. My best friend's mom was like that and when she'd come to my house she always wanted to bake something and I swear she'd eat nearly a tray of brownies by herself. She was always a little chunky in high school and then went on to develop an eating diorder in college. Luckily that's all under control now, but I really think her mom's extreme views contributed a bit to that.

And I do the same thing with food shopping. We tend to buy stuff we don't need and then have stuff in the freezer that we never use. I'm trying to work on that too, but it's hard cause my husband will come home and decide he wants something totally different than last night's leftovers so we end up just wasting a lot instead.

Lissawynn - Good luck with the packing and moving. Try not to do too much. :lmao: Sorry, but I know it's probably impossible for you not to, but I know what it was like to pack and move while pregnant and sick so really, try to take lots of breaks cause you need your strength with a toddler to watch too.

Staci that class sounds like a lot of fun. I wish we had one like that around here. It's so hard to find little kid stuff in DC. The surrounding suburbs in MD and VA are loaded with stuff, but the drive out there with both kids does not appeal to me right now. And thanks for giving me hope that Madison will be sleeping in her own room again soon. I remember you telling me about not cosleeping with the baby this time around back in July, but hey, we do what we have to do right!?! I've been pretty good about keeping Henry in his own bed, but mostly cause Madison has been known to climb into our bed unannounced during the night and I'm afraid if she did she might sleep on Henry if he's there too.

Joats - enjoy your party and kid-free night! It must be so nice to know that Jace was happy to head out with your parents. Last night I seriously thought I would have been better with a babysitter than my husband cause he seemed so frazzled before I even left, but turns out he did okay! I hope you can avoid that couple, or at least not be too annoyed by them.

Dizagain my husband freaks out when Madison goes near our laptop so I could only imagine if she spilled a drink on it! In fact the one we have now is going back to Dell cause keys keep falling off so they're replacing it and he still freaks out when she gets near it.

GLT, I know I'm a little late, but I'd just tell your daughter's school that you'll be on a weekend trip so she'll miss that Monday. She's only in kindergarten right? I think at that age spending some fun time with the family will be just as beneficial as that one day in school. And if her school is really strict like I've heard some are, then I say call her in sick that morning. Gosh, she's 5, and look at all you have to go through! I think schools that strict in K is just insane. Enjoy your time away!

Val enjoy your weekend, though it sounds busy. Madison gets up notoriously early on weekends yet weekdays I have to wake her up too. Funny thing is I get her up around 6:30 on weekdays and she just drags till we leave for school, but weekends she's up by 7 ready to start the day!

Tasha that's great that Kylie likes her new daycare. And nice that she's talking there too so you know she's happy. Madison's sign that she likes you is if she shows you Nick. Once that happens you know you're in with her.

And I should add that Jill got the Nick offering at the meet this summer after just a short period of time so shows you how nice she is! :teeth: And yes Jill, that was Cox in the pictures. I realized that if we move out of DC in 4 years we won't have a cheesy pumpkin patch to go to anymore cause I think Cox takes the cake. I love that IASW type song in the end of the barn during the hayride. :lmao:

I think I've caught up a bit, but hi to the other moms I missed! Gotta do some laundry and get the rest of the dishes done. That's a big pet peeve of mine, dishes in the sink, but the past few days we've had more than will fit in the dishwasher with the baking so rather than wash them by hand they've stayed in the sink. But tonight that will change!

Hi all. I'm up again at the crack of dawn. I was actually awake and came out to the living room at 2:30 because I felt like I was on fire in our bedroom. I turned on the ceiling fan in the lr and tried to sleep.

I have almost packed up all the stuff in Jimmy's room and the hall closet. I need 2 more containers to fill up with the loose stuff and then that's done. I checked the forecast for this week, and it's rain all week long. That means no roof coming off for us for another week. So now we're into November...

justthat - I love Poptarts and eat them all the time. Jimmy hasn't ever had one, but there will come a day when that might be breakfast for him. I spent a lot of time in front of the tv when I was a child, and I think I turned out pretty well. I just wish people would let their kids be kids.

DisKim - The pic of Emmy with the dog is precious. It will be the best Christmas ever at your house this year.

Alice - Score on the Gymbo stuff! I'm going to take a look today when I go to the mall to see what kinds of girl stuff they may have on sale.

SL - Sorry the pics didn't turn out so well. The only time I took Jimmy for pics at Penneys, the girl didn't seem too interested in us. Maybe it's b/c I wasn't going to spend a fortune on sheets and sheets of photos.

Ginamarie - I really have to start to make an effort to get Jimmy on the potty. With all the stuff that's going on here, it hasn't been the first thing on my list of stuff to do.

joats - Hope the party wasn't too painful!

dizagain - Sorry about the computer. I probably would have freaked a little bit.

BnB - I'd love a trampoline! Glad your son's team won.

I'm going to wake up DH so we can get moving on our stuff for the day. Jimmy and I have to evacuate for several hours while he takes the one wall out of Jimmy's room. Have a great day all!

Hi mommies! I am still knocked out by this cold. I can not seem to kick it. My cough is getting worse and I have a tendancy to develop bronchitis so I am trying to keep it low key. I hope you all had a great weekend so far...

:bday: Shelby!!!!!!

Good morning. I woke up early and got the second part of my trip report up.

bellacam - I hope you feel better soon.

justhat - Mommy day and Daddy day sound like a good idea.

lissawynn - Good luck with the rest of your packing.

Just waiting for my friend to call to see if she still wants help with her invitations. Other than that, I've got nothing planned for today. Have a great Sunday, all!

Well, the wedding was actually pretty good. I drank WAYYYY too much wine (poor leif). I think I might have been bashing dh's weekend bar manager job too much, and it was his co-bar worker friends we were with). :guilty: I'm hoping it was okay. I'll have to wait til dh gets up and ask him about it. It's just when I drink (esp. that much, the last time was probably like 7 years ago!) my tongue goes and I say what I think :rolleyes1 I didn't say anything evil, but I did keep referring to the bar in a derogatory way :sad2: We shall see.....

Oh, and the kids had fun trick-or-treating at the haunted house yesterday, we already have a bucket-full of candy, and most of it's chocolate -- I'm feeling guilty and there's a bucket of chocolate, :rolleyes1

Fab - That's funny about dh's reaction, I can't believe he chased after the friend and brought her back :rotfl: You never know what these men are gonna do.... OUch, that is way expensive for the show. DD will be the same way, I am sure of it!

justhat - glad the snacks and such went well! Your mom should hang out with mine, she's set in her ways too. Good luck. :grouphug: I don't know if DD's school is strict or not. But I just want to be prepared. Her teacher's wife is due for a baby any day now so he may not even be there that Monday (he's taking a month off). And yes, she's in K.

joats = how'd your party go?

bnb - yeah to robert's b'ball team :cheer2: glad he's happy about the win. Score on the trampoline, we bought one off of our neighbor a few years ago and the kids LOVE it. We just have to set rules (and the timer at times) as to how many can be on it at a time. We used to go through boxes of toaster strudel too, until I read the nutrition log...now I will buy it occassionally as a treat and we switched to waffles, still not good for you , but fortified nutrition works for me ;)

Robin - :thumbsup2 I tell ya, you do get the best deals! A few extra hundred a month sounds grand!

jill - hello

gems - hope the party went well

GM - Wow, you put Olivia on the potty? That's amazing. Glad the sleepover went over alright! Cute about the song.

Diskim - :lovestruc how sweet about emily! You sure did have a busy day. My car's in need of tires too, but first I need $$$

SL _ It took well over 2 hours to clean DD's room yesterday, ick! Sorry the photo shoot was a bust - glad you at least got one photo. Have a nice day, enjoy spending some time with your friend.

lissawynn - Sorry you're not getting much sleep.

bellacam - I hope you get a chance to visit the dr this week. Feel better :wizard:

Well, we are all still in our pj's. No church for us today  I don't think we have many plans, if any. Maybe to shower and get dressed. We also have a goal this weekend of "cleaning our street" as part of a community effort organized by the local arts center. I thought it would be good for the kids. I think it's cold out, but no rain, so we will do that today. Otherwise, nothing.

Happy Sunday to all!!

DisKim- I’m glad your DH is warming up to the puppy idea. Emily looks like she loves that puppy already and would be SOO excited to find him on Christmas.

SL- Sorry the portrait session was a bust.

Justhat- Mommy daughter time sounds really cute. I did that a little with my sister when she slept over. DH brought Olivia up to her crib and I snuggled with DSis and watched the finale of Project Runway with her. I have to make sure we set aside a little time for her each week, because she misses us so much.

Lissawynn- Good luck getting the house ready for the construction.

Bellacam- Feel better soon. I hope it doesn’t turn into bronchitis!

GLT- I hope you didn’t say anything you shouldn’t have! Cleaning the street sounds like a nice project.

Olivia has been pretty sleepy the last couple of days. I’m wondering if it has something to do with teething, but I’ve been thinking that for the last few weeks and she still doesn’t have any teeth budding. We woke up late this morning because she nursed at 5 am and then fell asleep until about 8:30. Mmmmm sleeeeeep!

The good news was that we had success with the potty!! She tends to make a face when she’s going to do her business, so as soon as I saw the face I got her into the bathroom. I have to hold her up because she can’t sit on her own yet, but it worked. I was so proud that I had to call DH and my mom.

OK, time to tend to the laundry. Our neighbors are having an open house today, so I want to sneak in some looks across the street to see what the potential buyers look like.

whew, I didn't say anything too offensive. Dh actually said that I was "amusing" but followed that with he enjoyed being out with me without the kids and stress.

GM - How old is Olivia? Congrats on her going potty, that's astounding to me! :thumbsup2

Robin - hope you are feeling better.

Ryan - I hope your family was able to support each other through this difficult week.

zalansky - who watched the boys while you and dh went out, did you use the sitting service?

jill - good luck studying!

Hillbeans - HI

lissawynn - hope the packing and such is going okay.

bellacam, bnb, val, disneyphd, SL, J&D and everyone else, HELLO>

All the mom's must be busy today. I hope everyone is well. I'm thinking of you.

Robin - I just want to say the you are awesome. Those coupons worked at my local grocery store. It was unreal. Between my other coupons and our "price plus" discounts, I saved a hundred dollars :thumbsup2 .

Oh ladies, I am hurtin' today!! Guess what time I went to bed last night? (mind you I'm a 9-10pm bedtimer)...1:30am!! We didn't get home from the party until 12:30 then I read for an hour as I couldn't fall asleep. Thank goodness my parents had Jace so I could rest in bed for a bit this am. Now, I feel awful! I think that it's part lack of sleep and part the 3 beers that I had.
I just want to eat greasy junk food and go to bed. :) The party was fun and low key. The annoying couple was sure annoying but we survived it. I even got to hold a 5month old - I have BABY FEVER!! What a great feeling it is to hold a little one. But, DH and I don't know for sure if there will be a #2. No plans until we do one more WDW trip regardless. I don't want to go pregnant and not be able to go on all the great rides.

Jace did great at my folks. No problem at all. DH and I are thinking to see if they will do this once a month or so - so we can start to go out to dinners and movies alone again. I miss the movies!!!

Today is low key. Very low key as I have no energy. Jace is napping right now, I may go up on the couch and do the same while DH is at the grocery store.

GM: Olivia used the potty already?? Holy cow!

GLT: Glad you had a good time at the wedding. Hope you didn't get yourself in too much trouble!! ;)

SL: I'll have to go check out the new part of your report.

Bellacam: Sorry to hear you are still not feeling well. :grouphug: to you.

Lissawyn: How awful about the weather report. That stinks for you guys.

Justhat: I hope you enjoyed your "Madison time" as much as Madison seemed to enjoy her "Mommy time".

DisKim: That puppy is so adorable. What a great Christmas surprise it would make.

Here it is again sunday and I'm already getting the Sunday night blues. :(
The weekends just fly by. I'm gonna go hang on the couch for a bit before Jace wakes up and wants my full attention.
:)

Good afternoon all! Another cold, rainy, disgusting day up here--I might as well get used to it.

Gina--That's great about the potty! I could see how, if you have a kid who's regular and gives a warning, that would be a huge help. Just one reminder, it may not work every time. I know you know that, just don't get too discouraged. At least it's that much less for you to have to clean up (I say as the mother of "Lukey Leaky Pants"!)

GLT--Too funny about having too much to drink and speaking you mind! At least you didn't totally humiliate yourself. And heck, it's fun to have adult time every now and then.

Kim--That puppy is just adorable. Of course, having a puppy has to be close to having a baby, in terms of cleaning up messes and obedience training and all. But it would be a great experience for Emiliy to go through "dog school" with the puppy, too, so that she's truly the one that the dog obeys.

SL--Sorry the photo shoot was a bust. the photographer makes such a difference! I'm kind of surprised, Lucas is so photogenic, but then again, "toddler in a cranky mood" NEVER photographs well! For Celeste's 2yo shots, the lady was supposed to take 7 (the main package and then 6 more optionals to choose from). Well, after picture #3, it was over--you can even tell in that last shot that you weren't going to get any more from that kid!

bellacam--I hope you feel better soon. Being sick and pregnant sucks!

Okay, I have a question for you guys: If a 7th grade boy loses badly at air hockey to a 6th grade girl, is he just lousy at air hockey, or do I need to get out the shotgun? I'mhaving a real tough time understanding why a boy would have a crush on Jocelyn. I mean, she's a great kid--cute, smart, funny--but she has no interest in boys. And I'm getting real nervous because next Friday is the Halloween dance. Not that she's going to hang out iwth anyone other than her friends, but just the thought of an older boy, even a 12yo, is making me break out in hives!

Happy sunday all! Don't have much time to catch up b/c we have a group of friends coming over at 5 and I'm still in the cleaning mode. It's amazing how dirty 4 people can make this house!

Happy Birthday Shelby!!!! Hope your day is wonderful!

Oh, my mom brought me some stuff from the Disney store in Houston, b/c we don't have one here--and I noticed in the bag as I was throwing it away a coupon for 15% off your next purchase between 11/1-11/13--it can't be used online, so it's no good for me--if anyone wants it PM me and I'll get it in the mail!

We had fun at Boo at the Zoo last night--DH doesn't do well with big crowds (but he loves WDW--go figure) so we didn't stay long. We got lots of candy and got to see all the decorations and the animals that were still out. I have some pics of the kids in their costumes. I'll try to upload them tonight if not then--then tomorrow. Well, off to finish up my cleaning and to make some tea! Chat later!

Hey, all! I haven't read the posts yet and Kylie isn't about to let me do so now. I thought I'd jump on here and tell you about the buffalo park and the pumpkin patch yesterday real quick though. We had a great time! The weather was just perfect and sunny. We rode the trolley out to see the buffalo but we were a little disappointed because they didn't come close enough for us to feed them this time. Last time we went we were able to but Kylie was too little to do it then. Now that she is old enough they didn't come anywhere near us. Kylie wasn't as crazy about the ride toward the end either since she wanted to get down and roam around. She loved the other parts of the park and zoo though.

Kylie loved the petting zoo. She had a great time feeding the goats, miniature horses, pigs, etc. She really liked the zebras too but couldn't feed those. Her favorite, however, were the 2 giraffes. They have it set up to where you can climb some stairs and feed the giraffes out of your hands. They are very gentle and come right up to you. Kylie thought they were the greatest things ever.

After the buffalo park, we headed to the pumpkin patch. Kylie had a great time roaming around enjoying all the "balls." If it is round it is automatically a ball in Kylie's mind. At least she is learning her shapes though, right? It was cute because we overheard a 2 year old little boy calling them balls too. His mom laughed and said everything that is round is a ball to him. I told her Kylie was the same way. Anyway, it was a really nice day and a nice break. I am looking forward to next weekend because I enjoy these much needed breaks and can't wait to take Kylie out in her costume! Here are some pictures from yesterday. Let me apologize in advance as I am still working out the kinks with photobucket as it has been a PITA for me today! It keeps freezing up on me and I am not sure how big these are going to be!

Here is Kylie's new pal:

I can't resist this one just for Justhat's benefit! I think she'll know why when she sees it! ;)

Oh, heck, one more shot and then I'm done...REALLY! This is the toy kitchen my dad and sisters gave Kylie when we last saw them.

Okay, well, Kylie is getting impatient so I'd better go. I am surprised she let me finish this in the first place. Enjoy the rest of your evenings!

Hey everyone! I didn't get a chance to get here all weekend - it was pretty crazy. Yesterday we had an all day birthday thing and came home to get our pumpkins done, as DH left for a two week trip this afternoon which includes Iceland.

GLT - I have 3 friends whose children nursed until they were FOUR. So, I guess it depends on what your definition of "forever" is. :teeth: Did you use the Coldstone coupons? I totally understand - I am really starting to miss personal time with my older daughter. She's really very funny. When we put the pumpkins outside last night, she said something about one being different. I said "what is it doing?" and she said "Um. It's just sitting there. As pumpkins *do*." :lmao:

I missed WDW Betsy's post - If I go back, I can never go forward. :teeth: But - it sounds like she is doing well and that makes me happy. :goodvibes

Robin - SEE what I MEAN about visiting my IL's? There is nothing except Wildlife Safari in Winston that makes the area interesting (I believe Steve & Terri Erwin were married there) and then I have to deal with these struggles with my FIL. The draw is NOT strong to go there.

SL - I would laugh too at the "Farmer and the Dell". :teeth: Looking forward to see the photos from your shoot - sorry it went so poorly. And we cannot seem to get things that DH's parents enjoy.

Lissa - I hope the packing goes well.

Justhat - I agree, those women are a bit --- off.
And about the baptism - well, I have no experience, but I always thought it was a church thing and then one was *done*. :confused3

And it is so hard having the second one, isn't it? Madeleine is so easy going that she lets me have time with Kailey. And Kailey is such a drama queen that having an audience of one small 3 month old is ideal. And I *still* feel like I'm cheating Kailey.

Dizagain - Now, I expected a whole different ending to the "lemonade gushing into the business computer" episode. MEN!!!

Robin - somehow I'm missing the summer clothing sale - is it just that I need to click on the 60 percent and more sales at Gymbo?

Diskim - that puppy is adorable!!! I hope it doesn't keep you up at night.

I have more - but I'm posting now in case the small needy one decides to stir. :goodvibes

Hi everyone! After my exciting week watch all the filming on my street and meeting Ryan Gosling we had our family pictures taken. We have to get Connor's redone, as I didn't like his photos.
