wow! What a Monday!

My only exciting thing today is that I've been without a phone all day. Comcast is coming out tomorrow at 11 to fix it. It has been very quiet, but extremely frustrating to be without a phone.

DH was supposed to pick up Tyler from daycare today. I realized he forgot the carseat so I had to go do it. I sent DH and Tyler to the mall to have some dinner and pick up our pictures because I'm not done with our Christmas decorations.

lissawynn - How awful that that boy's mother sent off an email like that. She has some serious issues! Sounds like you've had a doozy of a day!

bnb - Oh, you poor thing! That's too much yuckiness for one person to have to deal with!! I hope everyone is better soon!

sl - Good luck with Santa.

ff - That would be great if you got a TMX! Good work!

icebrat - Feel better soon!

diskim - I hope you feel better soon too!

OK - back to decorating and cleaning.

Tamie

Oh my goodness lissawynn- you and Emma look a lot alike! That's a cute picture of you, your sister and your Grandpa. :goodvibes

I'm so sorry that parent was so out of line with you. Some parents are so weird about their kids- I pray I am never one of those freak parents who think their children deserve everything handed to them on a silver platter. I don't think I am at this point, so phew. I'm glad the principal told her to BACK OFF.

I agree that it has been a crappy Monday for a lot of us on the thread.

I had to go back to the PO today to mail something else I sold on ebay. I didn't have the right sized envelope when I was there earllier. Lines practically out the door! Glad they have one of those self-serve kiosks for state-to-state packages.

I had a weird thing happen in my checking account. Our mortgage got put back in. WTH? I was like, why do we have so much money in our account---then I saw an electronic reversal with the payment. I know they sold off to another company so maybe there was a glitch. I'm going to let it sit a few days before I pay again. I would hate for them to take the payment out twice.

I have our bills, etc planned out to the dollar from now until we go to WDW, so I hate any wrenches thrown at me right now. If all goes well, we should have our Visa paid down, and a comfortable amount of spending money. DH said to not expect as big of a tax return this year, but hopefully it will still be over a thousand dollars.

I'm really getting excited for our trip. I looked up all the kid's menus for our different restaurants and thankfully there are things on just about every menu the kids will like. No weird chicken apple pita pizzas at the places we're going. ;)

Oh, for anyone who is going to Disney in the next couple of weeks, I have another favor to ask- I realized I don't have a 2007 calendar, and I bought a nice one there last year for about $10.00. Would anyone mind picking me up on? I will gladly reimburse you for the calendar and postage. Thank you!

Tomorrow night is another Coldwater Creek open house. I'm going by myself as Mom can't go, neighbor is ready to pop her baby out any second, best friend has to work, and I my other two good friends that live here live on the other side of town. I don't think they'll want to drive over. That's ok. I could use some quiet time. I'm looking forward to a mini massage for free, and some tasty food. Last time I even got a free beer. :teeth: And there are 3 opportunities to win a gift certificate this time (last time there was only 1). Oh how I wish I could win one. I swear I would make an appt for the next day for a massage. I am just really uptight lately.

Funny story- my neighbor's due date was Saturday. She still does not look 9 months pregnant to me, but she is also a petite person. I guess she's having a petite baby. Anyway, I saw her outside on a LADDER yesterday, and I was ready to scream out the window at her, and then her DH came out. She didn't know I was watching outside my window (I know I'm nosy)- I couldn't hear a word, but I could tell she was telling him what for as she was out there trying to rake up their leaves, clean out the garage gutters, scoop up the dog poop....it was amusing to watch and know DH and I aren't the only ones who have 'words' like that. They were out there way past dark trying to get it done. I joked with her later that she must be having that last burst of nesting energy and baby will be here soon. She didn't seem too amused- I think she's at that ' I don't want to talk, joke or have any sort of discussion right now- I'm sick of being pregnant- and if you ask me one more time 'still pregnant?', I might have to kill you' phase.

So glad it's not me! :p

Anyway, if Molly doesn't nap, I am going to be the one screaming. She has been completely thrown off her schedule and I can't deal with the no afternoon nap thing. I made her stay in her crib and play so I could exercise earlier. I am PRAYING she fell asleep- I'm in the back of the house, so I can't hear her....she and Jimmy are in the same phase I think.

Add me to the list of people who had a craptastic Monday (mine is just too much work at work issues)!! Sorry so many of us had a sucky day :(

But I'm much better now as DH, Jace and I went to Outback to de-stress!! Nothing better than a Filet and chocolate cheesecake to de-stress.

Drive-by post for me, but I wanted to post a few items:

FF: :grouphug: I'm so sorry to hear about what might be going on with Kona. I had hernia surgery when I was around 2 years old. I'll have to ask my mom what/why I had it. Plenty of positive vibes and pixie dust headed your way pixiedust: How scary. :grouphug:

Gems: Good luck at the MD.

BNB: Pixie Dust pixiedust: and chicken soup for your house!

So many sick mom and babies!! Hope you all feel better soon.

Santa was a no-go. Lucas freaked out and wouldn't even sit for a picture when both DH and I got in it.

I searched Macy's high and low and couldn't find that darn sweatshirt. I ended up getting something else similar to what my mom wants because I just don't have it in me to search every Macy's in the state. :lmao:

Sorry everyone is having such a bad day. Aside from the Santa trauma, mine wasn't too bad. Don't throw tomatoes at me. :duck:

lissawynn - What a nasty thing for that parent to do to you. And people wonder why some kids are the way they are these days. Look at the parents.

joats - Glad you enjoyed the Outback!

tkyes - Hope you get your Christmas decorations done.

alice - Enjoy your Coldwater Creek open house. :wizard: Pixie dust to you so you win a GC.

Hi Ladies!

So sorry everyone is having a rough day! Definitely a Monday. Carson and I stayed at home today so we didn't get into any trouble. I got a little cleaning out done and some tubs packed for the basement. My worst Monday moment was nothing compared to you guys...DH called and he was watching people ice skate around the big tree at Rockefeller Center from a window in some italian restaurant. We've never been to NYC before and I am very jealous.

lissawynn - what an awful mom to bug you like that!! I would have been so angry - you handled it very well. Love the cute picture - Emma does look like you did! Funny - your sister could have been MY sister's twin in the face!

sl - sorry Santa was scary for Lucas. I remember Hayley was fine at about that age, but it took Hannah several years to go near the guy! Carson started crying when the girls showed him a big stuffed Santa, but we're going to try anyway!

BnB - hope everyone at your house gets better FAST! You deserve a break!

robin - have fun at Coldwater Creek! Hope the mortgage thing gets straightened out!

ff - you are so sweet to order that Elmo - hope you really get it for one of these mommies! How's Kona doing?

gems - hope all is well with you!

GLT - :grouphug: Hope the kids and YOU are doing ok!

Everyone take care and I'll keep reading and hopefully post sometimes - it's easier with DH out of town...that sounds mean, I know. :wave2:

lissawynn - I am so sorry about your drama at school. I have had very few incidents like yours but when they happen, they are so stressful. I had a mother come to my room AFTER school was finished for the year. She was crying over the fact that her son, a senior, had failed my class and would not graduate. No students and hardly any teachers were in the building. I told my principal about it and told him that she could have attacked me or anything. That was the last year I taught seniors (well, I have a small honors class of seniors but they're good so they don't count). There are always those parents who think everything is the teacher's fault. It just floors me that you aren't even their teacher!

Jill - Aidan is extremely clingy too. He has been for a long time. I wish I could tell you it will pass but it hasn't yet with Aidan. I think I mentioned on here before that I call him Oedipus because he literally will push DH out of the room and then saunter over and claim me for his own. Sigmund Freud would have a field day with my kid!

bnbmom - I hope everyone stopped puking for you. I almost puked after I read your post. The cat pus did me in. Yuck!

nucpharm - The pictures of the kids are so cute!

Well, I managed the food store with Aidan. I haven't taken him there in months because he is so bad. A lady with her grandkids used Aidan as an example of a "good boy" for her granddaughter who was misbehaving. I told her not to jinx me! Emily had to do slave labor for girl scouts again today. The leader made them rake leaves in the freezing cold for 2 1/2 hours. They were out there past dark. I think she's insane. Emily was practically asleep before she got in bed.

A guidance counselor at work came to see me today. She said she had a dream that I had a fourth child and it was so vivid the she had to come tell me. I thought it was very bizarre that she would have a dream about me because although we are friendly with one another, we hardly ever see each other and talk. We used to eat lunch together but that was 4 years ago when she was a teacher and shared the same schedule as me. I think I woudl drop dead of shock if I got pregnant again at this point.

Well, I'm off to try and buy some dvd's online. I can't get google checkout to work and it's ticking me off!

Wow, these bright Christmas colors on the board will take a bit to get used too! :rotfl2:

Lissawynn - So sorry you have had a rough Monday. Not too smart about the guy wanting to pet a fenced dog - duh!

nucpharm - love the pics, thank you for sharing! I think the individual headshots are a great way to go. Emma is adorable, shelooks just like you!

Tamie - I got your package today, exactly what I was looking for! Thank you so much!! How'd Christmas decorating go? I still haven't done a thing for Christmas decorating. Though a friend of mine found a tree that I can borrow to decorate, as I won't be spending $$ on a real one this year, so that will be good once I get it!

dizagain - mmmmm, the thought of NY italian food has my mouth watering!

Diskim - hope you got your grading done.

bnb - So sorry about everyone, including the cat be so sick. Leif has had a stomach thing since Friday. I keep thinking it has to pass soon :wizard: I hope your family gets better soon!

icebrat - hope you feel better soon

Robin - I'll keep my eye out for the package! Thank you & Zalansky!! Good luck with Wapsabi? sp?? Hearing you talk about your trip makes me smile too!!

FF - :thumbsup2 Score on the Elmo.

joats - sorry work was such a headache! Glad you got to outback, that sounds tasty!

SL - amazing how one lousy sweatshirt can be so hard to find! Sorry Lucas didn't like the Santa visit. Stories you can tell him later!

I'll just say hello and thank you for the vibes. I won't bother you all with the latest in my excitement today, but suffice it to say that my heart keeps popping out of my chest every time I hear a car go by.....

Hey Gals!

I caught up on reading the thread, but I'm going to do a load of laundry and go to bed. Madeleine was up every 1.5 hours last night and by the time DH's alarm went off at 4:30am, I was ready to cry.

When the pediatrician mentioned the words "solid food" and "wean" at Madeleine's 4 month appt today, I about fell to my knees in gratitude. Madeleine has been too busy nursing to properly review the schedule we received, but I've put it on her "list".

I am so sorry that everyone has been sick, received nasty e-mails, or has otherwise been dealing with rotten persons of various sorts. :guilty: We contended with the Prevnar vaccination today, but I kept dosing Madeleine up with Tylenol so she didn't have much of a reaction.

GLT - I just posted on another thread that this Dis green was making my eyes water. :teeth:

Kim - I didn't take Kailey to the grocery store for probably 2 years because I would get so angry with the antics. Glad it went okay today for you and hope you're not forever jinxed.

Jill - Kailey went through a couple of very clingy stages and Dh really struggled with them (because he feels so guilty about the traveling he does) but we didn't do anything about them and the problem remedied itself.

Love the photo, Lissa!

And that's it for me - I'm hoping to catch up better tomorrow.

:wave2:

Hey all!

Wow, sounds like a lot of ya'll are under the weather! Take care and get well soon! And then the others that had such a cruddy day--just know that this too will pass, and tomorrow is another day! :sunny:

alissa--that pic is so cute--You and Emma do have the same haircut--the haircut is actually a funny story. DH was heading out to get his hair cut at one of those Fantastic Sams places (gotta love being a guy). So I suggested he take Emma to get a bang trim. Well, the place was closed and they ended up at a place called Sport Clips that only does guy's hair--he talked the person into doing Emma's hair, so she got the only girl cut he knew! DH loved it b/c apparently at this place they have TVs all around like a sports bar!

fab--sorry you were up so many times last night! Hope tonight is better!

glt--you can bore us with the latest news any time! Glad you could get a Christmas tree!

diskim--my MIL called the other day to tell DH that she had a dream that I was prego again! What's with other people dreaming about our lives!

sl--sorry Santa was a bust! That happened the first year with Emma--then last year we didn't do it at all--now, I'm debating this year. Our mommy and me group has a santa thing next weekend and I'm not sure if I want to torture my kids with it--that and MIL is having Santa and Mrs. Claus are coming to the xmas eve party--we'll see

alice--did Molly ever get a nap? Have fun at the CC open house! Sounds like heaven for me right now, but alas, I'm stuck at home at nights for now!

Well, I'm really bored with DH working nights. No adult to talk to--so to fill my time I bake. I told DH not to be surprised to find something new every morning--right now I've got some pumpkin bread in the oven (thinking of you Robin) Better go check on it! Thanks for all the compliments on the kids!

Nuc- yes, Molly slept, thank goodness. A good almost 3 hour nap too! So I cleaned, got dinner ready and did computer stuff. And talked to my MIL. Ugh. That's another story...

Kim- glad Aidan was good in the grocery store! My kids were farts at the P.O. Playing with all the buttons on the stamp machine- me saying, "Don't do that 8 times" (well, Sam was not, he was just standing near me- it was mostly Josh and Molly following suit). This is what the Mom said behind me, "Thank you honey for being such a GOOD girl"- me interpreting as, "You know, not bratty like THESE children."

Joats- glad you were able to destress at Outback! What kind of job do you do?

SL- sorry Santa was a bust. When Josh was about 1.5, I couldn't get him to do Christmas pictures for ANYTHING. I wanted to SCREAM....he also freaked at Santa- I had to sit in the picture with him, and even then he's sliding out of my arms, trying to escape. :rotfl2:

And bummer you couldn't find the sweatshirts!

FF- did you see they found that SF family- well at least the children and Mom? They decided to go on some off-beaten path to get back to the main highway between CA and OR and of course got stuck. And that was really nice of you to order an Elmo!

Sam is standing in the kitchen sighing, moping...I keep asking him what's wrong and he says, "nothing." Ugh! I hate that!

GLT- you can talk any time about what's going on! Don't feel like you're 'boring' us- we care! I'm glad you will be getting a tree to decorate. I wish I could ship you one- my parents got us one, and then I found out the Guard has free ones again this year. I could give you our freebie.

Fab- your night sounds so exhausting! I'm so sorry Madeleine kept getting up! I hope the solid foods will fill her tummy more and give you some much needed rest!

Hi Diz! I would be jealous of your DH too- I've never been to NYC either and that sounds very picturesque what he was seeing.

OK, my MIL. She drives me nuts with the repeating the same story 28 times. But today she says this today, something along these lines, and it was her tone that bugged me...I must have said something about Coldwater Creek and she says, "oh, you can book me another appointment for there when I'm up...a massage this time though. And a pedicure." Like I'm suddenly her secretary? It was NOT said like, "Can you do me a favor- can you make this appointment for me?" She just comes off so wrong sometimes and DH agrees wholeheartedly. I think since my FIL passed, she kind of expects to be taken care of by Bob, and me to an extent, that she never did before....

Oh, trust me, I'm not really worried about boring anyone, popcorn:: I feel like my life is more interesting than TV. I just figure you don't want to hear the details, plus you never know who's reading. I heard from the husband of the woman who is/was having an affair with soon to be XDh and learned some more info about when and such. Not cool.

On the positive side I had three people offer to take DD to school today, so the boys and I didn't have to brave the snow and cold - thank goodness!

My brother and his girlfriend are coming tomorrow to provide mental support and help out around the house. They get here tomorrow night -- in case I never told you, my brother and I simply don't talk. We don't hate each other, we just have no communication, especially since he yelled at me two Christmases ago - obviously his offering to come is a huge step on his behalf and I will certainly be hospitable and hope for the best. The wonderful part is that I will have his girlfriend to help with the kids (she's great with them) and a car to use for a few days, plus he is gonna fix a few things around the house :thumbsup2 Rock on!! This will also give my local friends a few days off from helping me, so they can regroup for next week

MYSTERIOUS PACKAGE? We got a CARS dvd from Overstock.com in the mail today. I'm guessing it's from one of my DIS friends? Thank you so much. I have placed it in a safe place and will wrap it for Christmas.

The generosity you ladies have shown, and the caring and understanding and emotional support is just too overwhelming for words. Know that I GREATLY appreciate it all and hope to pay it forward when I get on my feet and get my life in order. Thank you. I love you girls.

I'm painfully waiting for my last few calendar pages to upload to snapfish and I'll be done! Woo hoo!!

DH met me at the daycare and took Tyler to the mall for dinner. I guess Tyler was a total nightmare! DH said worse than he has ever been. I don't think he naps well at daycare. She said he sleeps on the couch  I should ask if she needs another pack n play, or what the deal is with that. I guess he didn't eat a bite of food either. He went to bed at 7:15 with no dinner. He should be nice and hungry for breakfast!

alice - Glad Molly slept for you! Sorry your kids were stinkers on your trip to the PO. You mean you aren't your MIL's personal secretary? My dad does that sometimes. He must think since I stay home I have all kinds of free time to help him out. :rotfl2:

sl - Sorry Santa didn't work out, it didn't really for us this year either. You do know you'll see those sweatshirts everywhere now!

glt - Glad you got the package I sent!

nucpharm - YUM! Your baking frenzy sounds good!

diskim - DH's aunt had a dream we were going to announce we were having a girl at Thanksgiving. Um, nope! LOL about your little Oedipus.

fab - how great that you can start supplementing!

diz - I would love to see that in NY, I would be jealous too.

OK - My order is complete - $100 later :faint: I did get 5 calendars for christmas gifts and order our Christmas card pictures, so that's not too bad.

Talk to you all tomorrow. Cross your fingers the Comcast guy can figure out what's wrong with our phone. I'm lost without it!! (I do have a cell, but of course it was dead today with the charger in DH's vehicle)

Tamie

Good morning ladies! I woke up early today for some reason!

I have a parent conference after school today to update us on the health of one of my students. I get really nervous over these things. These kids are like my own kids and I don't like hearing that they are sick.

Tamie - I give you credit for making calendars. I have no patience for that stuff.

GLT - That is great news that you are getting some help!

Robin- I cracked up at your P.O. story. My kids go nuts in the post office. I don't know why if affects them that way. I usually try to hold all 32 pounds of Aidan while I'm there which is not fun.

I am starting to stress over money so badly. DH is supposed to be getting paid for 3 extra jobs he does for the school plus he is supposed to get his tuition reimbursement. This was supposed to be in mid-November and we still don't have it. I'm starting to get nervous that it won't come in at all by Christmas. I've been charging up a storm figuring that I'll pay it off but it is making me sick! I haven't even bought anything extravagant this year. DH said he wants the Wii and my response was :lmao: . I just have SO MANY people to buy for that it's just insane. I still have several in-laws to buy for. OK, I'm done with my Christmas rant. Time for work!

Good morning ladies! :sunny:

I just had a chance to catch up on this thread this morning……it sounds like yesterday was a rough day for a lot of you all. :grouphug:

Floridafam – Prayers being said for you and Kona. :grouphug: You have been through so much with her lately. The poor little thing! I’m sure you are so worried. Like Robin said, I wish we could all be with you to make your waiting easier. Keep us posted on how she is doing.

Gems – I hope you are alright as well! :grouphug: Let us know what the doctor says.

BNBmom – Sorry to hear that your family (and cat) are sick! I hope that everyone recovers quickly and that you don’t get it. :wizard:

Icebrat – Feel better too!

GLT – How are you doing? Like everyone else has said, you are not boring us with what is going on in your life. We care about you and want to know how you are doing. I’m glad to hear that your brother and his girlfriend are coming to help you out.

Robin – I hope that bank thing with the mortgage payment gets fixed for you. Oh and I can pick up a calendar for you! I’ll pm you. Have fun at Coldwater Creek! Your MIL asking you to book an appointment for you reminds me of my MIL. My MIL is a sweetie, but she wants everything done for her. It’s tough to do when you’ve got three kids and a million things to do. My MIL offered to move in with us for six month next year while I student teach in order to ‘help out.’ She is so high maintenance and doesn’t help at all. Basically, if she moved in it would send me over the edge b/c I can’t handle a ‘fourth’ kid. Sorry to ramble but your story reminded me of my MIL.

Ginamarie – How exciting that you have only a few more days until your trip! :cheer2: I love Disney in December. It is so magical when it is decorated for the holidays. I need to make a list of all the things we need to bring for John as well. Babies have so many extra things!

Zalansky – Did your car ever start?

SL – Sorry to hear that Lucas wasn’t in to seeing Santa. My kids did that too and I'm expecting that John will freak out if I try to get him to meet Santa.

Nucpharm – I couldn’t get the link to work for your pictures. I bet your kids look gorgeous though! How long does your dh have to work nights?

Tamie – That is great that you found a place where you can cut your own trees. I remember doing that when I was little. Now, we have a fake tree and I miss cutting our own. Good luck with the phone!!!

Tasha – Where are you? We miss you. I hope that everything went well with finishing up school.

DisKim – Hmmmm…..I wonder if you will have a fourth after that woman’s dream! You crack me up with Aidan having an Oedipus complex. Although I shouldn’t laugh because John is on his way to doing that too! Good wishes being sent your way this morning for your conference. I hope your student is ok. :grouphug:

Joats – Sorry that your Monday was terrible too!

Lissawynn – You certainly had a rough day yesterday. Those e-mails from that mother were way out of line. I can’t wait to teach, but frankly I have second thoughts when I hear what some parents do. I love the kids, but when parents go out of line it bugs me. I’ve heard some doozy stories over the years and I’ve witnessed a lot in my kid’s school. I’m sorry to hear that you got those nasty e-mails. Hang in there!

Dizagain – Hi!! I hope you are doing well!

Fabumouse – What a night you had with very little sleep! I hope that you are able to get some rest today. :wizard:

Hi to all the moms! I hope that you all are doing well! :wave2:

Well, everyone in my house has a bad cold except John (keeping my fingers crossed that he doesn’t get it.) I’ll take a cold over the stomach virus that is going around any day. As far as school goes, I gave my last presentation yesterday evening and tonight I turn in the dreaded paper that overtook my life the past few weeks. :badpc: Whew!! It is so good to have that monkey off of my back! ;) I have classes next week, but nothing is due so I consider myself done for the semester! It is a strange (yet good) feeling to not feel rushed to study or crack open a textbook. I now need to get in holiday mode and go Christmas shopping!

Everyone have a great Tuesday!

Afternoon Ladies!

Well the Dr. says that I have restless legs, basically the nerves in my legs are having a hard time dealing with the extra pressure on them so they are tingling and causing my skin to itch. She said to avoid tea and coffee, walk during the day and to moisturise to ease the discomfort. I shall try this but I doubt that it will work! At least it's not the liver thing, that had me worried to be honest. Roll on 22nd Jan!

Jill - Could I be cheeky and ask you to get me an antenna topper on your trip? I shall PM you incase you don't read this. Of course I can Paypal you the money for it and postage.

Kim - Try not to stress about money, it's the worst thing isn't it. DH has been in the bank for 3 hours this morning trying to sort out the finance for the shop. I couldn't deal with going with him so I left him to it!

Tamie - I got my exchange gifts today, we haven't unwrapped them, we thought we would save them for under our tree, that is if Shelby will leave them alone under there!

BNB - I hope you feel better soon!

SL - We have decided not to take Shelby to Santa this year, I don;t know what her reaction would be at all, she watched the Grinch the other night and was laughing at him, but I don't know if a big guy with a white beard and a red suit in person would go down too well yet! :teeth:

FF - any news on Kona?

Lissawyn - I love the old picture! How stupid of that kid to touch the dog! DOh!

Oh well I am off to a three hour meeting now, oh joy I can't wait.
Speak soon
Gems

Mommies,

Someone sent me a paypal and I can't remember who it is-I've been a little scatterbrained lately. So, if there is a Mychelle here can you PM me and let me know who you are on the DIS??

Hi ladies. It's been a pretty quiet morning here at school. I'm not going to say more than that for fear I jinx myself. I will say my principal related yesterday's goings on to our superintendent. She is an awesome administrator and takes no crap. If said parent continues to bother me, the super. with deal with her.
I managed to finish my progress reports, which were due tomorrow, and hand them in.
Also, at yesterday's dept. head meeting my principal basically told the heads that the information I sent regarding the competition was SUPPOSED to be confidential (as it was marked in the email I sent) and the person who blabbed is not only partly to blame for nasty mom but could also receive a letter of reprimand for sharing the information with the students.

Good news on the home project...The chimney will be done today. The drywall is being delivered today and will be hung tomorrow. Also, the siding will be done on Thursday.

I have students arriving shortly, so I'll be back a little later. I just wanted you all to know I survived the crappiest Monday ever.

Hi everyone :goodvibes

My car turned out to be the battery cable came loose from the battery so it just needed to be tightened. Had I opened the hood (if I knew how) I would have seen it myself. I am such a moron with cars. At least it was not something costly which was what I feared. We just had to pay $900 to repair DH's car. So woo hoo!!!

Cameryn got sick (throw up, sorry, TMI) last night for the first time. She woke from her afternoon nap crying really bad yesterday and I just thought she was teething and/or being a PITA. I fed her dinner and some ice cream and we put her to bed and she cried which is not like her. When we checked on her she'd thrown up. We changed the sheets and bedding and her clothes - it wasn;'t much. But somewhere in the middle of the night she threw up again, everywhere and was in it all night. I feel AWFUL about it, that we didn't know. That she laid in it all night. My poor baby. Anyway she does not have a fever or any other symptoms so I don't know what it is. She seems fine today. We'll see.

lissa - sounds like your house is really coming along, can't wait to see some picturs of the progress.

Gems - glad to hear your itching was nothing serious. How much longer do you have to go now?

jill - hope you all heal in your house quickly from your colds. When do you leave for WDW?

diskim - I am stressing over $ too. We put too much on the cards and then it is hard to bring them down. I hope the issue with your student is not serious.

FF - how is Kona doing?

tkyes - fingers crossed your phone gets fixed asap! I don't like relying on just a cell. Sometimes when our home phone is out we need to use the cell too and I hate it because it cuts in and out and it is hard to have a lengthy talk on a cell.

Hi to the other mommies!!! :wave2:

I need to run for now. Meeting a friend and her son for lunch. Have a great day!

GLT- yes, the Cars DVD was a gift from one of us. I'll let her chime in and take the credit for it, if she wants too. You have elves, doncha know?

lissa- glad the house is moving right along! And that the super will deal with that crazy mother! That's great that she's so supportive of her staff.

gems- Here's hoping the next 5-6 weeks fly by! That restless leg syndrome must be driving you crazy....do you have any official names for Flumpy that you want to share?

Z- glad your car repair was no big deal. Phew! But poor Cam- that's happened to my kids and I just feel so bad that they were sleeping in throw up. :guilty: You know, we never got anything from Disney DVC/Bobby? Isn't that weird? You'd think they'd be on us like a hawk.

Jill- hope you and your family get over their colds and that John does NOT get it! At least you should all be healthy for the airplane ride down to Disney! WOO HOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for offering to get the calendar for me. :cloud9: And yay for being about done with school! I would die if my MIL moved in with us for 6 months. I think she would be more of a hinderance than a help. She is getting slightly batty I think....she's always loved salads, and she told me since that spinach scare a few months ago, she won't eat spinach salads, or even regular salads...she's just been eating frozen vegetables that she steams. :confused3 I can understand being a TINY bit leery at a restaurant, where you didn't see them wash the greens, but at home? When you can wash them yourself? Talk about oddly paranoid.

There was some other stuff in the conversation where I was like this  on my end, but didn't say anything, nor will I bore you gals with it.

Hillbeans- how was the wedding on Sunday....it was a wedding, right?

Kim- hope the conference regarding the student isn't too serious... :guilty: :wizard:

Tamie- Tyler is at that age that is so hard....I find about 16 months to 26 months or so the hardest. At least at a little over 2 you can start reasoning with them....between 1-2 it's just pure WILL on their part. Molly is starting the 'car seat buck' where half the time she fights me about getting in her seat and it takes all I have to get her in there and buckle her up. I need a drink after doing that and we haven't even gone anywhere yet! :rotfl2:

nuc- Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm pumpkin bread.....yummy!

Uh oh, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse is over. Gotta get breakfast going for Josh and Molly.

We are just patiently waiting for the phone guy this morning.

alice - Tyler does the car seat buck too. Fun stuff! You're right, you can't exactly reason with kids at this age.

z- glad your car wasn't anything major!

jill - Good to see you! Congrats on being kinda done with school :) That must be a huge relief to be done with projects. And just in time for the holidays.

gem - I'm so glad you got your package! :) Sorry to hear about the restless leg thing. That's great that it's not your liver though.

lissawynn - sounds like the house is coming right along. We want new pictures!!

diskim - I hope that money comes through soon! DH are debating about buying eachother gifts. I think we need to see if there is any money left after I'm done shopping!

I need to put another dent in my Christmas shopping this week. Anyone know of any online toy places that have free shipping or good sales right now?

Have a good day everyone!

Tamie
