I told dh we are going to get the crock when we are at Disney next week. I guess he forgot about it and last night he asked. "We're not going to have to meet up with one of those wierd people from the disboards to get that crock are we?"
I said, "yes. And maybe we're the wierd ones."
He said, "I'm not having anything to do with this. This is not taking away time from my vacation. The kids and I will be on the rides while you go get your stupid crock. Are you really meeting up with someone?"
So I said, "I don't know yet."
DH then walks away and mutters under his breath, "you're all a bunch of freaks. Freaks, freaks, freaks..."

So the secret is Blueeyed and I already planned to meet on Thursday morning at Pooh's play area in MK. We will also be at p&p party that night. I'm just going to steer the family in that direction and we'll "happen" to run into each other. Planning on wearing my team focker watch shirt, too.

Any group of grown ups who are willing to carry around a stuffed animal in the middle of a theme park have to be my kind of people. I am arriving in Orlando late in the evening on 5/5, staying off grounds at a Marriott Time Share ($200 for 4 nights) and then moving to WL on 5/9 and leaving 5/12. I would be glad to crock sit for any of the critters that need a place to stay.

What a fan-focken-tastic idea Sorul! (I'm glad to see the "So are you late too?" in your sig because all this time I read you as So Rule. As in "You SO RULE!" which you do. If I could think of a way that I could use this idea to convince DH of the need for another trip...there's just no chance in France...I have officially become a LURKER! I check in with my fellow fockin' peeps every few days or so to get a warm lime fuzzy feeling. Still love this site! Still love you Fockers! Still DISallusioned that I can find a trip somewhere in this year! WHHooo HOooo!

I have had almost this exact same conversation with my husband, only I haven't brought up the crocker yet, he thinks I am just a freak about the lime green and meeting someone from the boards. I won't tell him about getting the croc, I will be picking mine up at check-in, and won't tell him about giving the croc until the day I am giving him up. Well my DH is on the "you are all insane" team. Today we killed some time at Home Depot while waiting to go into Outback. So I very subtly took the kids over to the paint chips and DD got a fuschia sample to keep her happy DS got a blue sample to keep him happy and Mommy got 6 more LGMH's to keep her happy.

DH said "you should have to buy a gallon of paint for every one of those you swipe...no, wait, I don't know what you'd paint that awful color...you're just insane!"

Hey Crocker Fockers...... I went into the Disney Store today and they had LIME GREEN TICK TOCK CROCKS right next to the front door! They were pretty big though. There were smaller, not lime green ones as well. I know there are enough crocks at the moment but in the future??????

Okay - we just found this thread & we want in!!! DH & I read this together, so we're both on board with a Focker for the week we're there this summer --- the kids will have a ball with this!
