****The Official June 2015 thread!!! We're finally going to WDW***

There is a FB group... search "Real June 2015 Walt Disney World planning Group". See you there!

That's not the one that most of us are in I don't think...? If I was on my laptop, I would post the link.[/QUOTE]

Not surprised there is more than one. Just like this "official" thread, there are several of everything. Be sure to post the link when you get a chance.
We can use all the help we can get!! LOL

Happy dance--MIL is taking us (first time for me 33 and DS6) and we're arriving June 6 as well...and at Boardwalk. It'll be a surprise for the kiddo. These boards are kind of overwhelming--like being in a loud crowded room, but so informative and useful, especially in that I'm trying desperately to get ahold of a couple of ADRs. Thanks everyone for being so welcoming and informed! I have a million reasons to be excited, but for sure the most will be the look on our kid's face when he knows he's boarding the plane to DISNEY WORLD!!

This week we will be under the 80 days mark! I feel so overwhelmed and the trip is still 3 months away! We are staying offsite at the Sheraton Vistana though I wished we could stay onsite. But ultimately we have a timeshare and even if we stayed at a value I can't justify the cost. And I'm sure that we are going to need the space of a two bedroom with two teen girls!

So far we only have three ADR's set for CRT (before park opening!!), 50's PrimeTime and Scifi drive in. Nothing else really pops out at me dining wise and I don't want to work around dining times too much.

I am really REALLY stressing about getting FP+'s. This is our first time at DW but we are DL vets. It's so foreign to have to "book" a FP. But we are going to rope drop every park and get as much done as we can.

We're at 82 days and I just put down all our info in the docs on Facebook. I hope to score ADRs for SW galactic breakfast, and maybe be a little familiar with a family with a kindergartener or 1st grader my only child DS6 can play with at the Boardwalk pool. :)

Thanks for the Facebook link - just clicked on. We are 87 days out from our trip. Looking forward to reading through this tread and seeing everyone's plans. I am the planner in my family - DH comes along for the ride and appreciates how easy our vacation is :love2:

I know I am really late to this party, but...we will be there from June 9-20. We haven't been to WDW in the summer in quite a few years. We're really looking forward to it!

76 days here as too! Going this year more for SWW...
@Awholenewdisney : I know what you mean about staying in timeshare-we own at Lake Ozark in MO and have always traded our week for Marriott when we go to Orlando. This year however, I really really wanted to be onsite for Star Wars Weekends-either onsite or no go; plus I have been saving for a couple years specifically to stay onsite, and got a great deal through Orbitz (when Disney was running their spring deal +15% more off with orbitz code). So our second week we are staying in Marriott timeshare (Sabal Palms). Husband was a little leary of 2 weeks in Orlando, but we have friends who live in area and we really want some downtime to visit them. Also doing Universal this year (probably one night at a Uni deluxe resort for FOTL passes-enough orbitz bucks now to make that an option).
Excited to stay onsite, but nervous about 5 of us in one room for 6 days...tend to get spoiled by spacious 2-3 bedroom condos!

Hi all! We'll be going from June 5-12. It's our first time visiting WDW but have been to DL tens of times! But now I am really worried because I just saw that it is Stars Wars Weekend and Gay Days the first weekend we are there! I am so worried that it's going to be miserable due to the crowds. Can someone please tell me what to expect? On the 5th we were planning to go to AK and on the 6th the MK but haven't decided what parks to do the other days.
We are visiting the same days as you! Where are you staying? We are at AoA. Anyway, I was just sitting here staring at my paper trying to get some sort of plan together and I am really struggling! lol I did just reading on some website....might have been easywdw....that Gay Days will mostly effect HS and AK because they are smaller and that it might even make the crowds less at MK and Epcot. I had originally planned MK on Saturday and AK on Sunday and then looked at a calendar that said to avoid those parks those days!! Oh my head is swimming!!!!

We are staying at the Sheraton Vistana! AoA looks beautiful but we need a kitchen and I don't think I can handle staying in one room with my two teen girls. Don't get me wrong I love them to death but they get crabby when they don't have their alone time. Plus my DH is a LOUD snorer and me and the girls would have a hard time sleeping in the same room as him.

Anyways, on the first Friday we are going to AK. I wanted an low key park for the first day before we hit the ground running. We are planning to rope drop and hit the big rides and see the Festival of the Lion King. Then hopefully we should be done in mid afternoon so we can go grocery shopping and explore the resort. We might go to DD that night and shop around.
On Friday we have reservations for CRT at 8:15 and the park opens at 9! We are still trying to decide if we should hurry up and eat so we can have park time or get the full expierence of eating inside the castle and meeting all the princesses.
Sat we are going to HS since I made reservations at 50's PrimeTime and SciFi drive in. I did NOT know the star wars weekend was when we were going! But my oldest DD loves Star Wars so I'll tough out the crowds.

That's all the plans we have right now! I am stressing BIG TIME over FP+ since we get them released 30 days out. I told the family to not expect to do many rides but to still enjoy everything that the parks offer.

@Awholenewdisney - I think the only ones you might have difficulty getting would be the 7DMT and A&E at MK. MAYBE TSMM at HS (but check back later and they may open up since the SWW shows are all Tier 1 FPs but they aren't released until closer to the start of SWW, so many people book TSMM as a "filler" and then switch.

I will be able to book FP+ at midnight on a Sunday....couldnt fall one day sooner on Saturday! I am considering taking Monday off work so I can stay up and get these booked. Anna and Elsa are TOP priority for me because we are celebrating my granddaugters 3rd birthday while we are there and I cant think of anything better than meeting them on her birthday!
We are in a suite so we will have one bedroom but will still have to take an air mattress. My son is medically retired from the military so I wanted to stay at Shades of Green but he wanted to be in an actual Disney property.
