Be there July 13-25th at BLT (DVC stay) Me, wife and 2 kiddos 8yr old daughter and 4yr old son. Bonus this trip, my wife will have a milestone birthday (not saying which one, but it starts with a 4 and ends in an 0) while we are there. I'm planning a huge day for her full of surprises

We will be right next door at the CR around the same time too!

We are from GA and usually go every summer. Last year we went in March for spring break (VERY crowded) because my son is a huge Atlanta Braves fan and we went to their spring training while we were at Disney. We have stayed at Pop, Carribean Beach and off site before (last year because adding spring training to our trip was a tad pricey, which meant we had to stay off site to save money). This year we are planning to stay at Pop again (if they come out with a discount we will upgrade). Can't wait for Be Our Guest dinner!! It will be our first time. They were open last year, but we were unable to get reservations.

We are excited, too! As it gets closer we will have to make plans to say hello at Be Our Guest!

Still looking for one at Epcot but there's too many to choose from! Any help greatly appreciated

We have 1 MUST do at Epcot and that is Teppan Edo. Some people don't like it but our whole family LOVES it. Love the show, food is good but only thing we find lacking in the place is that there are no really stand out desserts.

I am with you all the way. Supposed to get sleet and freezing rain Monday and Tuesday.. - Why am I about a couple of days of possibility of bad weather when you guys have had weeks and weeks of winter storms.

And I am just amazed at how much our little group has grown.

Deep sigh, not opening a can of worms here.... but, What's everyone thoughts on the new changes? What are you going to do to make the best of it?

Me: I am not happy about the 3 FP pre day. So, I am going to use them wisely. I expect long lines, and hot temps. We will make the best of it.

Curious about what your plan is?

We were supposed to get 1-3 inches more last night here - I think we got another 6 and it's still coming down! I am so over the snow right now and I looked at the 10 day forecast and we could get another two rounds.

I promise I won't complain about the heat in July at WDW! 90-95 is sounding really good about now. I'm tired of the frozen toes!

On a cute note, we were heading home last night and the snow was sparkling and DS3 declared "it's Tinker Bell snow!"

to happy. We have had a touring plan just like everyone else to fit our families likes and do's for years and now we are restricted and limited. Standby lines here we come..... You're right... got to make the best of it as the new FP+ is here to stay.

So I'm trying to figure out how that will work. I also forgot to mention... We took DD BF Lucy and her Mother last year and they were amazed how we toured Disney and were able to fulfill our ride needs without standing in the long lines.

Lucy and Kathleen said they are so glad we only had to do standby a couple of times...

WELL !!!!! I have been educating them as to the changes and how we are going to make the best of it this year...

They are open and understand the changes, but the true experience will be when we actually stand in line.

My other days are planned with confidence. Our first at Magic KIngdom seems to be a hot mess. I don't have tickets yet, can't really "plan" my day without them to ensure a FP+.

I hear ya about planning for MK. We gave ourselves 3 days there this time around to make sure we can do everything. Normally it's just the 4 of us, but my parents are coming this time and it's their first trip.

I am probably the most stressed about FP+!!!!
I don't like it one bit. We are AP but stay offsite. As of right now, for next week's trip I can only get FP at the kiosk day of
We are supposed to be able to book in advance and get MB I thought by the time we go in April but it's not looking that promising bc I am almost 60 days out and haven't gotten confirmation on that yet.
My DH is so aggravated about the whole thing, that he doesn't want to renew the APs in April. So we'll see what happens. We may not even be going to Disney in July. I truly don't know how I will be there for that long and not set foot in a park. UGH!!!!!

We had a positive experience trying out FP+ last month - we had extremely low crowds for most of our trip which will be very different come July - but we had no FP+ issues - we upgraded to AP while we were there and everything linked perfectly. We used all of our FP+ and didn't wait long for other rides - we stuck to going at RD and saved our FP+ for later in the morning/early afternoon - I think in the summer our plan will be to hit AM EMH and do RD - ride all that we can with short waits - schedule FP+ for later that morning (if we are doing a resort night) or save FP+ for where we are headed in the evening. We will be there for 8 nights and we go frequently so I'm not with the mindset that "We have to do it all!" - I'm just hoping that my strategy will get us on lots of different rides and that we won't miss out on too much. Only time will tell!

I gave them a call but wasn't expecting anything. To my surprise, I was able to book a boat for July 3.

I was just sitting here watching vacation videos on YouTube when I realized that I forgot to try for an Lluminations cruise when I booked our ADRs. I gave them a call but wasn't expecting anything. To my surprise, I was able to book a boat for July 3.

Wow! So cool!! We were thinking about doing it but would have to do a share - too much $$ for only 3 of us!!!
