We leave for airport @ 530am. This time tomorrow I'll be walking into Kona for lunch.

Oh...and I haven't started packing yet. Ugh!

Just got back. The weather was perfect, the crowds were great, even got in a little swimming (that lasted about 5 minutes...). It was a great trip!! Now I'm jealous of everyone who hasn't gone yet, though I hope you all have fabulous trips!!

Surprise went great yesterday! They were truly surprised! DD10 had to run upstairs to scream afterwards and DD8 started crying!

We had originally planned to drive to about Valdosta, GA Friday night but the girls were sleeping so well in the van and we felt pretty good that we ended up just driving straight though. DH and I just kept switching between driving and sleeping. We stopped in Ocala to eat some breakfast at Cracker Barrel beforehand.

Our room at CBR was ready for us when we got here! So, we were able to move right in and go make a quick stop at walmart. Then we ate lunch at the Old Port Royale (shared 3 meals between the 5 of us easily) and got our refillable mugs.

Headed to MK in the evening - boy it was crowded for the holiday weekend. We were going to do Winnie the Pooh first but it was a 70 minute wait so we headed over to IASW first. 30 minute wait but it broke down for about 2 minutes and a bunch of people got out of line so we moved up quickly. Headed over to Philharmagic. Planned originally to stay for MSEP and Wishes but we were just too tired from driving - and TOO COLD. So we headed to Chef Mickey's for supper and enjoyed watching all 3 girls with the characters. After that we took the monorail to Epcot and took the bus back to CBR.

This morning we had 8:05 ressies for PSB and once again it was super fun! The princesses we had were Ariel, Aurora, Cinderella and Snow White! Ariel came and got DD2 to walk with her for the Princess Processional and she and DD8 had a blast doing that!!

Finished the middle of the day with Soarin', Living with the Land, Nemo ride, Crush, Figment, Captain EO and I headed to Germany to grab snacks with DD2 while DH, DD10 and DD8 rode Mission Space.

Now we are back at CBR for DD2 to take a nap and Dh and other girls to swim for a bit.

Weather: Typical January FL weather - FREEZING this morning (38 when we got to Epcot and 68 and super sunny now). The rest of the week is supposed to be great weatherwise!

Tonight we are heading back to Epcot to use the Test Track and Soarin' fastpasses we have, eat supper at La Cantina...and then decide whether or not to stick it out for Illuminations tonight since it might be chilly again and we have plenty of other nights still to do it...

Crowds: Like I said, last night MK was crazy (just like touring plans said it would be) and that is keeping us from attempting to go last night. We have been over Christmas, Easter and July 3rd. It's not as busy as that, but it's still way busier than the usual January crowds, but we expect for it to start slowing down tomorrow a bit and get better as the week goes on.

Heading to AK for EMH tomorrow morning, all day there with a 4:45 ressie at Yak and Yeti before hopefully heading over to MK to see Wishes and MSEP tomorrow night. Planning on a full day!

This time tomorrow we will be at BWV!! We have to leave the house @ 3:30am to catch our flight. Not sure what we were thinking when we booked that!

We leave in 4 days we get to Disney in 5 days and we check in at OKW in 6 days

I downloaded a few new songs for the ipod for the trip. some Phineas and Ferb, some princess and the Frog, etc and of course some other songs... a wide variety.

trying to think of a few more songs of any genre. Any ideas?

I keep checking the weather and we are really lucking out so far. I hope this stays true high 70's low 80's during the days... will be cool at night but we can handle that. and there is one day so far that says scattered storms and since it's florida I'm not too worried about that since they likely won't last long

I hope those of you who are there or about to arrive there have a wonderful time. I have loved reading the mini reports from those who have been and come home already and I look forward to reading more

We haven't been in years but now that I'm in the travel industry I have access to free accommodations so we'll be going more often.

I've been obsessed with the weather the last few weeks, but have taken it with a grain of salt since predicting the weather 10-15 days out is difficult. Being a Meteorologist is a cushy job as you can be wrong 365 days a year and still keep your job/

LOL I am just going to sit back enjoy whatever we get it has to be warmer then the weather we have here! I think I have solved my flip flop issue... I will keep a pair of toe socks in my bag, so I can throw them on in the evening if I am to cold. So if you see someone walking around MK with bright coloured striped socks and flip flops on... its probably me!!

I leave TOMORROW! Oh my! My sister, mom and I are driving down (a good 15-17 hour drive!) and then the other 6 are flying down Thursday! oh gosh! too exciting! In all there will be 11 of us for five days and then down to 9 for the remainder of our trip. I'm SO EXCITED! We'll be in the parks 1/20 - 1/29! Doesn't feel like its going to be enough time!

We leave a week from tomorrow and 3 of the 5 of us are completely packed already too. I just have a couple more things to throw in the last suitcase for DD10 and myself and we'll be ready to go.

We leave tomorrow and I feel like I'm the last to know. Did you guys know about the hours changes and the EMH changes? I didn't. So this morning I'm sitting here switching my schedule. I read on the podcast that because of the "campaign" the EMH schedules have all been changed. So if you are like me and leaving soon, you may want to check out those hours. So while I'm expecting MK to open early on Thursday the 19th....not so fast -- AK opens early that day now and both the studios and EPCOT have late night. Many more adjustments like this. I know had I arrived tomorrow, it would've drove me crazy trying to adjust my schedule. I avoid EMH, so it would explain why a park is so busy when it should not be. I'm use to schedule changes, so I'm actually looking to see how to fit these changes in.

Tks. I just finished adding dinner at the 50sPT on Thursday night. Since they are closing late, I thought we would zip over there in the evening. One thing about January is that most parks close early, so this is an added plus.

We don't check into OKW until Sunday but we booked a night at Legacy vacation resorts for saturday night and we'll head over to DTD to eat at Earl of Sandwich for dinner So it's kind of like an extra day at disney since we were originally going to arrive on sunday.

Hoping for a little pixie dust... I'm hoping for a cancellation at BBB at MK on thursday morning. We are booked in over at DTD for 9 am but if we could get a morning one at MK that would be AWESOME! but I'm not counting on it lol. but I keep calling and keep trying plus I love being wished a magical day

the nightly disney dreams are starting. Last night I had a dream that it was monday morning and we were supposed to be on our way to epcot but we didn't wake up until almost 1 pm and I was so upset lol.
