I did online check in this morning.

I did too . We are leaving Saturday (2 Days ) because we are going on a cruise then heading to Disney. Well, I am sitting on my couch right now (I should be cleaning my house, but that is another story) and looking outside at the "wonderful" (hence using my sarcastic voice) white fluffy stuff that is falling from the sky . We are expected to get 6 inches today and about 4 more tomorrow...they already cancelled after school activities and my DD8's Brownie Troop has cancelled their meeting too. I am just hoping and praying that the snow will clear by 10:15am Saturday morning so that our plane can safely take off and there won't be any delays. I NEED SOME FLORIDA SUN RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!

Hi, my name is Rachel and I suffer from PDTPF (Pre-Disney-trip packing fatigue).

Seems I've been packing for weeks now...down to the nitty gritty stuff that takes a ton of running around and gathering. Just wanna lay down and Disney-Dream. Getting super excited - just ready to be packed, surprise the girls and head to FL!!!!

I started packing before Christmas, got serious after Christmas and now am nearing completion ... but this has been over a month now of packing!!

LOL! At least you ladies have started packing. We haven't even pulled down suitcases. Think I have a busy 24 hours ahead, today is laundry day.

On a different note - weather in Boston SUCKS today. Rainy, windy, cold and miserable. Makes me excited that much more to go to warm and sunny FL!

Hope none of our Jan peeps have been impacted by the storms in the midwest and northeast today and everyone made it out safely!

Oh, my! I can't even imagine not packing with only 2 days to go.

I was thinking of starting the ***OFFICIAL January 2103 thread*** but I wasn't sure if it was too soon or not...

We are hoping to! This time it'll be with our absolute best friends who are also married, and one of those friends has never been to Disney World (but has been to DLR MANY times and is a huge Disney fan)... But it's going to be so much fun showing her the World if we're able to pull off the trip.

Anyway, it's still in the works (DVC stuff with my in-laws is a little up in the air at the moment, but I think it'll still happen), but it's our goal to do a January 2013 trip! Not sure I'll be posting in the thread quite yet, especially since we're not even on our 2012 trip yet , but here's hoping I'll be posting in that thread in a few months.

WELL now that you mention it... We've gone in Feb or Jan the past few years, MLK week seems to be our thing.

So starting usually in March when post Disney blues kicks in from the winter trip the OFPW really kicks up and I book. As for Jan 2013, if I manage to see a flight that I just HAVE to book, we'll be back in '13.

I can't believe the time has finally come. After months and months of planning and waiting we're down to a 2 hour wait until our airport ride gets here. By this evening, we will be at Disney World!!!

DS & I couldn't sleep well so we got up pretty early and got showered and dressed, so all of our last minute stuff (brushes, toothbrushes) is all packed. The only thing left for us to do is sit around and wait (or read the dis boards ) DH is still in bed asleep but I can't believe he's able to sleep through DS. DS is so excited and bouncing off of the walls!!!

You are probably at Disney by now! Hope you have lots of fun!

Oh goodness! I actually admire you for being able to hold off on the packing....I started right after Christmas and my trips not till the 28th!

Looks like we will be arriving on the same day!! I am sure I will be easy to spot on the 28th! About 9am in the morning I will be the grumpy one tired from a long flight on the plane, in which I do not sleep well! BUT I will be in Disney so after a short cat nap in the car we will be off to the parks!

WE LEAVE TOMORROW!!!!!!! 24 hours from now we will be sitting at the airport waiting to board our plane. I can't wait to get out of here too....we got a snowstorm yesterday and right now we have freezing temps and are also expected to get a couple more inches. I just love the fact that we are flying out in weather that are in the teens and flying into weather that is between 60-70 degrees . I hope those that are coming close behind us are going to have safe travels

Well, you should be on your final approach, put the hammer to the floor it should be smooth sailing right up to the front door of CBR

Sitting here at work, counting the hours!! I can't concentrate on a thing!! I check-in online with Southwest in a couple hours and we have a long night ahead of us b/c of a dance performance my daughter is in. Hopefully home by 9pm tonight so my husband can freakin' PACK!!!! He is making me insane!

We head to the airport around 11:30am tomorrow and our flight leaves at 1:30!! OMG!!!!!

Well I had called Disney on the weekend to ask if I was going to get resort documents, since I had already received ME documents weeks ago. I was told that since I was an international guest (Canada) they would not send me anything in the mail and I would get everything at check in. Well guess what shows up yesterday in the mail? Yup, all my package vouchers!

Now with just over two weeks to go, getting those documents makes me more hyped! Plus the winter storm occurring today makes me want to be in the sunshine state.

Not much snow on this side of Canada, but COLD!!!! This weekend is to get even colder! Our temp high is -4F! I am looking forward to some warm Florida sun!

We have not received anything, I guess WestJet didn't sign us up with ME (which is fine we rented a car!) after DH asked about it, we could call and fix it but would not get our tags in time even if we were to use it!

I am getting excited, went through TP and got the crowd calendar all sorted and put onto paper since we won't have internet on our phones down there (roaming $$ is to crazy!!), 2 more weeks and I will be getting ready to leave, and the babysitter will be here!

No Dh and I have to decide if upgrading our dining plan will be worth it, lots of ADR's left, just no clue what to pick if we do it. We have always just done quick service since the kids are not the best yet in restaurants!
