Hi. Ill be going to HHN on the 24th!!! I already purchased the EP does that mean I dont have to wait in any lines for the houses or are there still lines if you have EP? And if there are, are they typically long?
Express shouldn't be more than 10-15 mins. and it's typically even shorter than that.
Sounds like you had a good time dispite your fears. HHN isn't for everyone but at least you tried...be proud of that! HHN is my favorite event and is one of the main reasons I live in Orlando...I get to go so often.I failed miserably at HHN. I should change my name to AshamedScorpio.
Like I said, I'm not so keen on people jumping out at me...but I never imagined I would be such a big ***** about it.
I had to work up the nerve to enter and then hid out in a store so I could examine the map and figure out the best way to get to shows and rides without encountering too many scare zones. My boyfriend went ahead and did all the scare zones so he could report back to me and tell me which ones weren't so terrible. I honestly love looking at all the great make up and creativity behind teh scare zones, but the people getting in my face is what turns me off. I walked through Path of the Wicked and the Tinman went after me, but the Wicked Witch was pretty funny. I did MIB but the zombies near it were freaking me out. I walked through Schoolhouse which I found not scary at ALL. I dont really get why anyone would. I wanted to walk through Scary Tales after my boyfriend told me that Scary Bo Peep ordered him to pet her dead sheep, but I never did and I walked through Asylum in Wonderland but the Mad Hatter was INTENSE AND was freaking me out. I took a picture with Alice, who was awesome and very into her character.
I'm impressed with the level of creativity and the devotion a lot of the scareactors seemed to have to their roles. It seemed like there were A LOT of people there and most of hte waits I saw were 30 minuntes and up.
I wish some of the haunted houses and scarezones were more like the Schoolhouse where no one really jumped at you but it was still creepy. I love gore and weird things, but I guess this wasn't for me.
ha! least somebody's kid will be excited; i'll have my 15 yo DS (he who isn't fond of scary stuff switched @ birth perhaps? told him to slap a smile on & deal lol)

the first time through dead exposure i was scared to death
Are you planning on doing S & S next Sunday? If so...come by and say hi...there should be quite a few DISers there again this Sunday.I ended up getting to HHN late last night...trying to recover from the Food & Wine Festival earlier in the day.
It was so packed at HHN. 100 minutes for the Mary house and 45 minutes to an hour for all the other houses. I think I'll try to get their earlier next Sunday.

Last night, thanks to an Assist from Metro, I did meet up with Macraven, Inkognito (plus husband), Laurabearz, and Cdn Friends of Pooh (plus husband). I also had the chance to go back through Doomsday. That house has IMPROVED greatly.
I think I got scared 2 times and that was only cause someone popped out at me. I must say tho the costumes were awsome!! If only for that reason to see the costumes, would I go again! I am a huge Halloween freak and a huge horror movie fan and this just did not do it for me, or my family. We did get all the houses done plus Bill and Teds plus went on rides. I think the longest wait we waited was 30 mins. The detail in the houses were also fantastic, but for scare factor, I give a 3 out of 10 waaah! Sorry please don't flame me for my opinion on it as it is only my opinion
