The *OFFICIAL* Grey's Anatomy Fan Thread!

************************ NEXT EPISODE ************************
----> CHANGE IN DATE, NEW EPISODE MOVED UP TO 22nd NOT 29th <----

This is what I'm seeing too - I planned on tuning regardless of it being a repeat or not... We'll have to wait to see on Thursday what they give us...

According to the abc website, this Thursday is going to be a new episode! :cool1:

I read somewhere that they changed this because they wanted to keep the momentum up for their show October Road, so having a new GA before that might help.

I saw it! I hate COMMERCIALS. I had originally seen a couple of episodes from seasons 1 & 2 but couldn't keep watching it on a regular basis (chores, hw,etc) so I got both season 1 &2 on DVD from the library and had my own mini marathon

I cant wait until season 3 comes out :)

I <3 Grey's Anatomy!

OMG - that's all I could think of as I watched it... Can't wait to see it again in 5 minutes or so! What did you all think??????????????????????????

No one has anything to say about this weeks Grey's... :scared1: Well, I loved it! I feel so bad for Izzie, sorry all I just love her! She and George would be good together too, and they both so want it - you could just tell by that face/hand hold towards the end of the episode...

Alex and Ava (aka: Jane Doe) - they're cute too, I'm just waiting for someone to get hurt in all that though... There's gotta be someone out there looking for her right!?!?!

Mark - the new chief! Love it too! That's the way they were headed, he's such a charmy pants!

I agree this was a very good episode - less soap-opera-ish than the whole ferry crash story arc. But I love how all of that is still affecting Meredith and Derek - as of course it would IRL.

Izzy and George: I feel more sorry for him than her. Would she really be good for him or was she just "using" him because Denny died and Alex doesn't want her anymore?

Not so sure a husband/boyfriend will come looking for Ava; if they were together on the ferry he could have been killed or "in the water" as they kept saying. Maybe a parent or sibling will show up. I'm really getting to like Alex this year. There's still some Addison and Alex flirtation happening too.

Charmy Smarmy McSteamy might make a good chief, and imagine all the tension that will create with the others.

Next?

Sounds good :thumbsup2

UNTITLED GREY'S ANATOMY SPIN-OFF PROJECT (ABC)
DEVELOPMENT HISTORY:
???
STATUS:
currently in development (2007-2008 season)
DEVELOPMENT STAGE:
ordered to pilot
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
two-hour backdoor pilot
DESCRIPTION:
(from ABC's press release) Grey's Anatomy executive producer Shonda Rhimes combines the heart and soul of television's top-rated drama with exciting new faces in a sun-drenched new location to create a drama with a very different vibe. It's an intimate portrait of the choices and changes we make in our search for happy lives. Following a failed attempt at reconciliation and two disastrous affairs, neonatal surgeon Dr. Addison Forbes Montgomery craves a new relationship and journeys to Santa Monica to seek advice from her med school friends, Naomi and Jackson. But she finds her idealized view of their achievements – successful marriage, 14-year-old daughter and a highly successful health cooperative – doesn't match reality. Jackson's success as a TV health guru pushed him to divorce Naomi and now he's lonely. Fertility specialist Naomi wants love, but she doubts their boyish surfer/receptionist is the answer. The rest of the Oceanside Wellness Group staff has their own life issues. The sexy alternative medicine doc is a widower masking his grief with one-night stands. The gynecologist who doesn't know a thing about women had his car stolen by this week's Internet hookup. And the therapist doubts she's doing any good at all. Fortunately, together they're a formidable medical team doing cutting-edge work. Working with them, Addison realizes that moving to Southern California and joining her friends could be the right prescription for her own life. Starring Kate Walsh (Grey's Anatomy), Tim Daly (Wings, The Nine), Amy Brenneman (Judging Amy), Chris Lowell (Veronica Mars), Merrin Dungey (Alias), Paul Adelstein (Prison Break), and Taye Diggs (Day Break, Kevin Hill). It's a warm, funny, deeply affecting character drama against the backdrop of the joys and sorrows all doctors experience while practicing medicine.

Addison's new show sounds a lot like GA, but with older main characters. Which character from Prison Break is Paul Adelstein? I love that show too, especially Wentworth Miller.

I googled Paul and he plays Kellerman.

I am seriously going to have to get Tivo or DVR to make sure I don't miss any shows.

I don't know I'm not excited. Sometimes there's too much of a good thing. I get tired of watching all the same kinds of shows like all the CSI's. I like variety in my tv viewing.:lmao:

is tonight a new epsiode? I looked at the description and it looks like it may have been a rerun....I can never tell!

Can I say I'm actually interested in what they'll pull together for this clip show tonight! I'm tuning in just to see Jeffrey Dean Morgan!

Yummy!!!!
