The *OFFICIAL* Grey's Anatomy Fan Thread!

Callie always seemed like such a strong character I don't understand where this insecurity is coming from? I understand why she would have some reservations with Mer. but Izzy - there was no history :confused3

I think back on the prom episode they showed Callie as not getting along with the other girls because it reminded her of the pretty skinny girls in high school that made her feel like an outcast.

As far as her thinking there is something going on with Izzy - Izzy hasn't been quiet about her disapproval of the relationship from the start. If my husband's best friend looked like Izzy and constantly told him he shouldn't be with me, I would be insecure about her too.

Did anyone else notice that there were no previews at the end of the episode? Was that the end of the seaon? When is the next new episode?

I wonder if Callie wan't sleeping in the basement because she wanted to make it on her own, without mommy and daddies money. I do find it strange that if she is using the money now why not get an apartment or a house?

I was wondering that too. The only reason I thought of why she might be living in the hotel is because she can. And because she doesn't have the time to cook or clean and someone can do that for her at the hotel. But seriously $2,500/week?!? That is just ridiculous! That is more than the mortgage on my overpriced townhouse!

As for George and Izzy, I hope that the end was a tease and they didn't do "it". I always saw their relationship as best friends or brother/sister, not romantic.

Oh and another thing. How much older are the residents than interns? I mean McDreamy is the best in his field and Callie has been around (remember the runner she did all the surgery to) Why are they bothering with these babies. The guys maybe, but Callie?????

Deanna :bored: :cat:

ITA on both comments above! :thumbsup2

New episode on 3/29; listings say that George meets his father-in-law which could be interesting!

End of season won't be until May.

You forgot George and the Nurse. :rotfl: But you're right for someone who supposed to be kind of nerdy and not good with girls, he certainly has gotten around.

I mentioned this on the other thread, (Why do newbies always have to start their own thread instead of checking to see if there already is one? )
The thing is why GEORGE? He doesn't strike me as someone who'd be good in bed. It's not like you'd want to be with him for the eye candy factor either. :p There's McDreamy, McSteamy, McVet, but everyone ends up in bed with George?

And I can't believe Izzy would go from Denny to George - even for comfort. Yuk! I liked her during the Denny storyline, but since Denny's death she's just become so self-righteous, waving a banner like she's suddenly the know-it-all expert on Love & Relationships and is better than everyone else. :sad2:

And why was she smacking Callie down about having a lot of money when Denny gave her $8 million.

I think calling the new doc McUgly is a bit harsh. He's more like McSnooty, putting on airs with that British accent. :snooty:

Plus $800.00 a week for room service and George's $200.00 a week that Callie's giving to housekeeping:scared1:

I was wondering if the mods could actually merge the two threads. It does make it more difficult to have two active threads on the same show up and running at the same time.

Maybe if the Search worked better, people wouldln't be starting new threads.

Anyway, I was really hoping that Izzy and George simply got drunk and fell asleep together -- like nothing happened. One can hope.

me to! the show likes to tease us like that sometimes, to keep us guessing. I am going to hope for the next two weeks that nothing happened...

Thank goodness this wasn't the end of season; I was a little worried!

Meeting FIL should definitely be interesting, especially since George & Callie aren't currently on the best of terms and I think it's about to get worse. Even if he & Izzy didn't do anything, they are still naked in bed together, so the intention was probably there.

Callie's not the only one living in the hotel. Addison, McSteamy and the Chief are all living there as well unless they moved out and I didn't notice.

I think we're going to get more about Izzy and what was it the guy with the bullet said to her? Something about changing his soul and she said that she knew what that was like. I bet that gets played up a bit. Between the "loss" of her daughter (through adoption) and the loss of Denny, there's probably more there.

I think the new doc should be dubbed McCreepy, the way he was grabbing Christina. Yuck!

McCreepy, McUgly :lmao: I wish I could think of something to describe him, I had a hard time UNDERSTANDING him!!

Am I the only one who is getting sick of Izzy, I mean she doesn't have to like Callie but jeez the girl did marry George.

Just so we all know - and it might be a typo, the ABC website is listing the new Grey's as being on 3/22... My digital cable is saying that night is a repeat though - we'll all have to tune in to watch!

I had to rewatch last night to be able to comment because I couldn't believe what I saw Thursday night!

Now I have to defend Izzie a bit... Even in her drunken state she started out telling George to "suck it, and go back to Callie to grovel..." She started out doing the right thing... I've liked Izzie all along, and I continue to, even today after the drunken whatever with George! He finally broke down and told her that he's scared and needs her support, she finally agreed to support him even if she disagrees with him!

I love the Alex story line too - I think Jane Doe's someone is going to show up though and that's going to hurt Alex. It's obvious that he's now emotionally invested in this woman.

Burke and Christina are crumbling before our very eyes... First of all the fact that she had such a long relationship with Dr. Whoever disturbes the crap out of me, second she's never going to be able to fully committ to Burke and at least she's realizing that before she gets into the mess that George is in now!

Happy viewing whenever our new episode appears!

As far as merging the Grey's Threads I'm fine with that - if it's possible and that's what the mods would like to do!

I'm annoyed with Grey's this season. I thought I couldn't get more annoyed with Izzy, but this last episode just put me over the edge. :sad2:

One thing I thought of the other day, I was in the hospital for an overnight stay. In the 24 hours I was there, I saw a doctor for about 3 minutes. I saw an RN for maybe 30 minutes, tops. The person I saw the most was the LPN. Where are the LPNs on Grey's? Or even the RNs? With the exception of the one they all slept with? (not remembering her name off the top of my head). We all know that nurses are really the ones who care for the patients, why don't they have better representation on the show? I know, its just a TV show, but still......I did like the episode where the nurses went on strike, would like to see more episodes surrounding the nurses though.

I was completely confused by the old man doctor/chief to be. Talk about lack of sexual chemistry - when he groped her it surprised the living heck out of me because I thought it was her stepfather or some other close relative. They had as much chemistry as two ironing boards. :rotfl: Sure hope the sex was better than that grope. :rotfl:

According to Shonda and Betsy in the podcasts, they're all there. There are tons of other interns, nurses, doctors, etc. in the hospital. But they focus on the main characters. They say it's hard enough with "so many" people in the cast, that's why they're spinning off Kate.

I will say after working in a hospital for 7 years, you would be surprised at what goes on in a hospital :scared1: oh, did I mention I met my DH there and the stories I could tell you :rolleyes1
