Wow I find it interesting that you all hate the Izzy thing. From Day one I have said IZZY and GEORGE are ment to be together.
I was insanely happy last night when it happened. I can plan the show out for you now... George goes back with callie, after some struggles they get divorced. Izzy get's back with Alex. this goes one for a while in the end izzy's and georges feelings are too strong and the end up together. End of story.

Am I the only one who HATES Callie??? Her character was cool at the start, but since she has been with George she is horrible. Good thing that's not gonna last much longer!

I missed the first 12 minutes or so. How did they resolve the fact that Mer had almost died......or did they just kind of ignore it & she's fine & back to work with no problems? What else did I miss at the beginning?

She was supposed to be "taking it easy," but she refused. And that was sort of that.

I can understand why Meredith would act that way, when my dad was in the hospital my mom was working because that's how she dealt with it. Everyone deals with it differently and I think that is how Meredith dealt with it. It was good to see her come to terms though with her other family.

I love Callie. I think she is interesting & real. Merrideth drives me crazy. She needs to eat a sandwich.

Grey's will do a special 2 hour episode at the end of this season that will serve as the jumping off point for the as yet to be named show about Addison. The new series is set to air this fall.

Kate Walsh does have in her contract a clause that sends Addison back to Grey's Anatamy should the new show flop.

I can see Izzy with a spin off but Addison I don't get it.

I really like Callie now. I didn't like her at first because she acted very childish. But she seems to have gotten over that. IMO anyway. I definitely do not like Izzy. I haven't ever since the whole thing with Denny started. And even moreso since she killed him.

I love Greys, I love this thread, & I love Friday mornings when I go to work and we have a gabfest about the prior nights new episodes!

Everyone else loved last nights episode but it was too TVlandish for me - unrealistic and all over the place So I liked it but didn't love it. Just some thoughts:

Kerev is "supposed" to be the womanizer but George has managed to sleep with Mer, hook up with Callie, marry her..Callie O'Malley , and now hook up with the best friend Izzie. I always got the friend vibe from them too, not the hot & steamy would make a good couple vibe. I actually like Callie & George together - their oppositeness makes them a good couple & I think they compliment each other. Callie always seemed like such a strong character I don't understand where this insecurity is coming from? I understand why she would have some reservations with Mer. but Izzy - there was no history

Kerev & Jane Doe - obviously they are heading someone with the "WHO is the pregant woman" to be playing it out 4 episodes later. I think that will be interesting to see the end results of that story line.

Christina & Burke - we have called the professor "McUgly" where I work Interesting development. I never thought that she would go through with the whole wedding thing with Burke - she cannot commit emotionally to him for whatever reason and was wondering how it would play out. I find it interesting that they have lead the storyline to show that Christina has a history of hooking up with her teachers and when she has reached the end of that particular phase in her life she cuts ties and moves on to the next.

That never made much sense to me (like no one in the hospital noticed or cared she was in the basement all that time? ), but that's how it was explained.

Okay, here is my take on last night.

I thought Izzie and George did have feelings for weeks now but I HATE the fact that they acted on them... I think it was out of character for George. I feel so sorry for Callie. I do think the whole money thing was a bit last minute... she has always come across as broke.

I like the Mer/ Dad storylines.

Christina is soooo funny... blasting Izzie in the first season for being a model to get through med school as she was sleeping with the professer....

I think a spin off is too soon, but I think Addy would be the natural choice... she and McSteamy now will leave and "live happily ever after"

And thank you figment... I was trying to place McUgly last night. I asked DH where I had seen him before... he was no help

You forgot George and the Nurse. But you're right for someone who supposed to be kind of nerdy and not good with girls, he certainly has gotten around.

I wonder if Callie wan't sleeping in the basement because she wanted to make it on her own, without mommy and daddies money. I do find it strange that if she is using the money now why not get an apartment or a house?

As for George and Izzy, I hope that the end was a tease and they didn't do "it". I always saw their relationship as best friends or brother/sister, not romantic.

Oh and another thing. How much older are the residents than interns? I mean McDreamy is the best in his field and Callie has been around (remember the runner she did all the surgery to) Why are they bothering with these babies. The guys maybe, but Callie?????
