I think this was my all time favorite Gilmore Girls show yet. I Love them together. I really like Luke but Christopher seems like a better fit. I hope it works out.

I can't believe Lorelai would get married without her Rory by her side. I'm terribly disappointed. If that were my mom my feelings would be very hurt. Filthy stinkin rich Christopher could have at least waited a couple of hours to fly their daugher across the ocean to be there, Hmpf!

... BUT... FANTASTIC episode! I love Lane and I love Paris, they should be in every episode. And i can totally relate to how Rory feels right now, it wasn't that long ago that i was in my last year of education and not too sure what to do next.

OMG! My mouth literally fell open at the end of last night's episode. I LOVE Lorelai and Chris together, but why didn't we get to see the wedding? Even better, why did RORY not get to see the wedding??? I can't imagine how that is going to go over.

Marty was in Rory's first year at Yale. He was "Naked Guy". She met him after he'd passed out in the halls of the dorms naked. She let him use her robe.

They also hung our around the time Rory started seeing Logan. But he wanted to be more than friends and she was into Logan.

Oh, the grnadparents met Marty at the big football game Rory's first year.

Umm...I don't know, Mal. Who is THE Rob Thomas? Did anyone else catch the rest of Veronica? I was just too tired to stay up last night and it looked like a good one!

I think I was worn out from GG. I was NOT a happy camper. What the heck is Lorelai thinking? To marry Chris and not even have Rory there? It was pretty obvious that Chris was trying to get her to do it quickly before she changed her mind. I mean, Rory is his kid, too, it seems like they BOTH would have wanted her there.

Loved Zack & Lane having twins--particularly Zack thinking it had to be Siamese twins if Lane was freaked out. And Mrs. Kim moving in ought to be pretty interesting. And who didn't love Lane's note from the doctor saying she hadn't had sex before marriage?

The jet lag thing made me laugh--I've done that where you fall asleep and wake up in the middle of the night just ravenous and have nothing to eat. Luckily, we were at my SIL's house and I was able to sneak down to the kitchen for some bread.

Okay--I am looking forward to Luke finally getting riled up. I think the way Chris & Lorelai got married means that it is just not destined to last and THAT makes me happy. But I was SO freaked out last night that she'd actually gone ahead and married him. I mean, they weren't there very long, were they? It's not like Vegas where you can just run out and get married--didn't they need a license and who knows what all red tape is involved in getting married in France? I guess Chris's money greased the wheels but still...seems like it would take a bit of planning. And maybe that's what he did. I wouldn't put it past him.

I didn't get Marty at all...and I really hope Rory doesn't pull a Dean again.

I will say, I really liked Rory's hair with the red. If I was 22, I'd so do that.

Can a 50-something, married for 28 yrs guy be a fan of the show in a non-pervy way? Yes. I am. And so a few observations...

Not too crazy about Lorelei and Chris together. It's all just too... perfect. I like the tension and diversity between Luke and Lor better.

Luke needs something better to do...maybe he will go beat the crap out of Christ (as the previews intimated, but you know won't really happen). ...but I like the interaction between him and his daughter. I am a dad of a precocious 15 yr old daughter so maybe I relate on some levels.

I realized something last night for the first time... I've always thought Lorelei was a cutie and lots of fun, and I love the quickness of wit her character is given. But truth be told, she would start to wear on me after a while. Humor and wit are better when least expected and only periodic... she wears both into the ground. But, then, it's TV.

...and I am probably spelling Lor's name wrong aren't I?

Rory is a cutie, totally adorable, but I hope she goes and does something dramatic pretty soon... join the Peace Core, fend off an attacker, something with some substance (at least as substantive as GG gets.)

Absolutely you can be a fan, Vulcandream! My 30 yo married nephew loves the show. He and I discuss it while his sister and wife mock him. DH likes it, too, but only in small doses.

Plus--you have the added bonus of feeling the way I do about Lore & Chris! Welcome, welcome!

Oh, and what time does the sun rise in France??? When Lor jumped up she woke Chris and said, "It's 4 am!!" Apparently, they can go back to bed, walk around Paris, , shower, dress, walk some more, and eat an entire meal with a bottle of wine between 4am and sunrise???

And if she meant 4am Stars Hollow time, then that would be 10am Paris time. So, still doesn't work.

So, of course Lorelai and Christopher HAVE to live in Star's Hollow.... in the house that Luke just had renovated so that he and Lorelai could live together - weird.

and for the record, I love Mrs. Kim! (because she's not my mom of course) Did we ever resolve the MR. Kim issue? what happened to him?
