My cable system has decided not to carry the new CW.

Leaving me Gilmore Girl-less. Help! A brief synopsis of last night's show would be greatly appreciated. TIA
Sure--you all give a holler if I forget anything!
Lorelai is preparing to go to Paris by listening to a French tape and learning how to speak English with a French accent. Her plan is to tell the French that she was really from Marseilles but her parents were killed in a "tragique" accident and her adopted parents refused to let her speak French but she kept the accent to remind her of her homeland.
Lorelai and Christopher decided to attend Parents Weekend at Yale. (Even though Lorelai insisted it was for lame parents whose kids didn't want to see them the rest of the year and had to go to a college sanctioned event.) There were lots of jokes about the provost--which Lorelai thinks sounds like something you'd request more of at the deli.

When they arrived, they found Emily and Richard there and discovered that they'd been attending every year without Lorelai's knowledge. Lorelai was then annoyed that they were taking Rory out for dinner and they got stuck with an inferior lunch with her.

So they took Rory and her friends to lunch at the restaurant that Emily said they were taking her to for dinner--which apparently has "creme brulee to die for."
Except the people Chris invited weren't friends, they were people that worked at the paper. They all drank too much and when a big anti-war demonstration on campus broke out, they were all too tipsy to do much good at the paper meaning Rory had to work all night. She got back at them by telling Emily & Richard that Chris & Lorelai would meet them for dinner--at the same restaurant where they had lunch. Chris was feeling badly for missing out on a lot of Rory's life which is why he kind of went overboard with the lunch--even inviting these people for a ski weekend. I was so annoyed when he kept saying things like, "You TOTALLY need to come skiing with us." How OLD is he again? 23?
Let's see--April is still staying with Luke. Luke picked her up from swim practice and agreed to go out with her swim coach. The coach picked the restaurant and turns out she's a vegan which was too healthy even for Luke. It was a pretty uncomfortable date (thank heavens.) Lane babysat for April and it really cracked me up when she was showing off her 7 letter words to use for Boggle.
Sookie received a free basket of veggies from a rival grower and made the best ratatouille ever--the whole time feeling like she was cheating on Jackson.

Michel is preparing for Lorelai's vacation and wants to be in charge and have everyone refer to him as "Captain."
Previews show Lorelai & Chris in Paris and the episode title is "The Proposal." Where's that throwing up smilie when I need it?
Okay--what'd I forget, girls?
