Yes, you are correct, I also remember Jeff Webber was the biological son of Steve Hardy. Only I don't remember exactly how that came to be. Started watching in 1980.

Steve Hardy had an affair with Jeff's mother Helene. She got pregnant but didn't tell Steve (I'm not sure why, that was before my time) and eventually married Lars Webber who adopted Jeff. Steve didn't learn Jeff was his son until he was an adult. So Jeff was adopted, just not by Steve Hardy.

As I recall, Jeff moved to Las Vegas and remarried while he was there. Didn't he return for a brief time and talk about his wife dying? Is she Sarah and Elizabeth's mother?

I could be wrong, but wasn't Jeff involved with a GH nurse named Anne? If I remember correctly they left the show together. So, if that's the case wouldn't she be Sarah and Elizabeth's mother?

I was really young at the time so I could very well be confusing characters. The nurse I'm remembering had short brown hair and wasn't Jeff Webber played by the guy who later played "McGyver"... you know the guy who could make a gun out of a ballpoint pen and other such neat stuff.

Richard Dean Anderson - how cool would that be if he came back. I couldn't find anything about him leaving with Anne and since Noah Drake was also involved with Anne I don't think they left together. I think Rick Springfield came on after Richard Dean Anderson left. But I was really young so I don't remember anything clearly until about Frisco and Felicia days. I'll have to ask my mom.

See, I knew I was probably wrong. It happens every once in awhile. I was 7 or 8 at the time and used to watch GH with my older sisters just so I could "hang" with them. I laugh that I started watching soaps so young. I would never let my DD8 or DD6 watch them now.

Richard Dean Anderson has been working on Stargate SG-1 Series on the Sci-Fi channel for about 8 seasons now. This season he's not starring and may just be producing. This show is an absolute FAV of my husband and children, but they're kind of sick of hearing me yell out "Jeff Webber" everytime he comes onscreen!!

I need help! I was watching GH yesterday, and they cut away to a breaking news story.
The last I saw, Carly was dragged into the place where Holly was and was saying "Who are you?", then later she said , "You used to live here?" and Holly said " Part of me died here", or something like that. Then came a 20 minute breaking news story, and when GH came back on Luke and Lucky were there!

I can't believe I missed Luke discovering that it was Holly! Please tell me what happened, what was luke's reaction, and what was said...PLEEEEEEEASE!

Bumping this up, I never got to see that part I missed from Friday's episode. Can anyone tell me what happened when Luke saw it was Holly ransoming the antidote? I'm dying to know. I have 25 minutes before I see today's show. HELP!!!!

I think I'm too late--but it wasn't much of a reaction. Luke called her "English" and made comments about her being a con artist.
Even less of a reaction was Robert's when he saw Holly.
I am so disappointed in the comeback of Robert and Holly. Wasted talent. And they're being made to look like huge jerks, which I don't remember them being when they were on the show originally...

Thanks, Disneydotty! I feel better now, it doesn't seem as if I missed anything great. I was disappointed in Robert's reaction too, but I just figured that he already knew it was her when he found her with the gun on Luke.

Did anyone else have that feeling during the last scene that Sonny's car was going to blow up? I know they aren't killing off those characters anytime soon, but given Sonny's history with his loved ones and exploding cars, it was a Deja Vu moment for me!

I agree. I started watching them in the early to mid 70's I guess...and they were a lot tamer then I think. I also have a DD6, and don't want her to watch all the gunfire and everything else. That said, I still enjoy watching them. Sometimes I don't know why because they get so crazy...but even then I love to hate them!!! When they make me REALLY crazy (aka Sonny and Emily) I just tend to fast forward and try to enjoy the rest of it.

Count me in as well for those thinking that they are under-utilizing Robert's talents. If they don't step up, he will leave again because he doesn't want to do crappy storylines.

I did! I rewound it to watch it more closely. As much as I kept expecting the car to blow up I was still wondering HOW they could repeat that same storyline again. Maybe I just keep hoping Sonny gets punished for cradle-robbing!

Did it seem really anticlimactic when they just drove off? When the "...so it ends.." came on the screen I couldn't help thinking "That's it?, that's all?"

Brace yourself .... I just read that they are bringing back the old Edward. The one before Jed Allen - John Ingle. Thank goodness!!!! GH is really getting with it as far as bringing back fan favorites. It's about time.
