I agree that it's dragging out, I thought I was watching Passions 1 Harmony day= 1 regular soap month). Why on earth can't rescue personnel do something? Lanie (name? the shrink) seems like the only one doing anything and she's even had time to freak out.

What are your thoughts on the new Carly? Her mouth bother's me when she speaks, but other than that - I don't have any opinions yet.

What really gets me about the train crash is where is all the light coming from in the tunnel? It looks like daylight or that there is electricity in there. This whole storyline is just way too farfetched, even for GH. And, how did Nicolas get himself out from under the beam and all the rubble that collapsed on him? He came walking out of there like nothing had happened. If Jax couldn't get the beam off him, how did Nicolas do it himself?

the same way that he walked back home to Windermere after the hotel fire...where he "died"... I thought that was hilarious...he shows up with soot stained clothes..like he fell down a chimney or something. Just walks in like "honey, I'm home". No one in all of Port Charles noticed this poor guy stumbling from the ashes of a building...walks through town gets on a water launch..and walks into the living room. So why wouldn't he just push that mean old beam off of him after tons of debris and rock pounded onto his body?

Did anyone catch Manny on Ghost Whisperer this past Friday? He played a bad guy and did an awesome job. It was nice to see him show some other feelings though. I think he is going to go big. We won't be seeing him on soaps for very long. He is just too good of a bad guy. Creepy.

He also played a bad guy on Nip/Tuck last year, or maybe the year before. He was also a bigtime mob guy on that show.

I also agree with one of the above posters about nuCarly's mouth. It's like she doesn't move her upper lip when she talks. Another nuCarly reject. I liked Jennifer Branson.

Reese was in terrible pain and was just lying down waiting for help to arrive with everyone else. At the end of the show, she was talking to Sonny about how lucky Carly was to have him care about her so much. Then her eyes closed and her head kind of slumped and Sonny was calling her name but it looks as if she died.

So far I'm not impressed with the new Carly at all. This actress used to be on Loving years ago and she bothered me then and I think she will still bother me now.

Thanks AnnetteF....it sounded like a very simple and subtle (low key) way to die for a soap opera. I liked her...she was attractive.

The dumb part about Reese's death is that they all kind of stood looking at her when Sonny said "she's not breathing".

I'll be the odd woman out here and say I kind of like the nuCarly, although she needs some dental work on her lower teeth! I like that she has blue eyes, the others have been brown eyed (can't remember Sarah Brown's eye color--it's been too long!) She seems softer and easier to like. Only time will tell as we see her interact with the others. So far it's just been Lorenzo.

ANOTHER VOTE FOR NuCarly!

Thus far I am liking Laura Wright as Carly. I like that she is seasoned. I like that she looks healthier and her voice is fine too. I am ready to give her a chance.
Will GH.. let Carly evolve? Will she ever mature and come into her own "Carly-ness" as a mom and mature woman? Carly can be smart, crafty and witchy..Also quirky and funny... Maybe Laura Wright can bring it out in Carly again.

I really like Laura Wright. I liked her on Guiding Light. I think she is a really great actress, so hopefully they do let her evolve in the Carly character. She really does emotional scenes well.

Her teeth may need dental work, but who cares. She is definately confident in herself so that is all that matters.

I like that she doesn't seem nervous. You can definitely tell that she is seasoned. I think I am going to like her if she does something with that bottom lip problem.
