I agree auntie, no way would Rick Weber ever have done anything like that. Sometimes I think they forget about those of us who have been watching 25 plus years.

On Saturday I went to a local "premiere" of the movie "Carpool Guy" that Corbin Bernsen directed. If you go to the website for it I think you can still win tickets for the other dates. He's doing a tour of a number of cities to promote the movie, which is straight-to-DVD and stars soap stars. It was a pretty good movie. I bought the DVD, and it should be interesting to hear the commentary.

Each show will have some of the stars of the movie (they're listed on the web page). At my stop it was Tony Geary (Luke), Rick Hearst (Ric), Corbin (Durant), and Lauralee Bell (Christine on "The Young and the Restless"). I got there right when the stars arrived in a stretch limo. They went in and posed for pictures with everyone, in whatever combination you wanted. (Like some just wanted Tony, or some just the guys; I felt sorry for Lauralee! She got left out a lot! ) I just posed with all of them, and then got my mom in the picture with all of them. Those pictures will be posted on their website and then you can buy a copy, so I'll post here when I see my picture. (Kind of scary!) Then they signed autographs, and talked to people for a while until it was time to start the movie. They had to leave a few minutes into the movie to go on to St. Louis for their Sunday show.

Lauralee was the chattiest to me. When she asked what my name was for the autograph, I told her Leigh, and she said that hers is with Lee but she always like Leigh, that spelling. But we talked about how no one could spell it or pronounce it. She seemed very nice. She's soooo thin. I didn't really say anything to Tony and Rick besides Hi. I told Corbin that I love him on The Mole when he went nuts. (If you didn't see it, he really did go kind of crazy, trying to figure out who the Mole was. He even came back when the did the second Celebrity Mole. He was so addicted to it. But he was really bad at it! But he and Steven Baldwin were a riot.) He said that that's when he went nuts, but he's still nuts.

Then right before the movie started, he asked if they could get White Sox World Series shirts at O'Hare, that he needed to bring them home for his sons. Lauralee said she needed them, too. We said that they should be able to get them there.

All in all, a pretty fun time. And how often do you have a chance to see Tony Geary!?!

I am sooooo upset that I missed it when it was here in St. Louis yesterday.
I would have been thrilled to see let alone meet them. Tony Geary doesn't "do" press events so this must have been something extra special. Congratulations on your visit.

He did look like it was a little painful for him. I didn't really know what to say to him. I just said Hi when I went to get my picture taken, but it was kind of weird, to see him. It's like I've known who he was all my life. (I started watching GH in 1993, but The Wedding was when I was a kid, so I've always known who Luke and Laura were.) I thought about telling him that there's a brother/sister ice dancing team named Luke and Laura Munana. They were born in the early 80's. It's like, I wonder where their mom got their names? But I didn't know how well that would go over, so I didn't say it.

I thought Corbin would think the thing about him going nuts on the Mole was really funny, but he didn't seem to. Maybe he's still upset that he couldn't do better!

Sorry I didn't post about it earlier so you would have known about St. Louis. I was on vacation and have just generally been busy for the past few weeks. Also, I was never sure if they actually had my name. It took a long time to get a confirmation, so I wasn't exactly sure how well their system was working, but in the end it was fine.

Oh I see there is a new story line today...Sonny was BETRAYED...! Can you imagine? I can't believe it...how could that happen.

HOW MANY TIMES are they gonna do this story? They guy sleeps with anybody...and HE is betrayed? When are they gonna have someone else ticked at HIM..for being a jerk..instead of always having these poor pathetic charcaters that crave his approval. Whether it be a wife, girlfriend, or his poor brother. The guy has walked over hot coals for this guy...and he should be ticked that his brother tosses him aside..instead..he is devasted. Oh well, same old....same old. Guy needs a good kick the *ss, if you ask me.
You know I usually switch to Dr. Phil when they show the teen thing..and I gotta tell ya...starting to do the same with Sonny/Reese. How many times can you watch the same thing.
At least Liz and Lucky finally married...nice to see that.
Should be interesting to see how the Jax /Courtney relationship evolves.

And Lulu..is 17?....Oh my...I'm thinking my daughter is 18....and I'm pretty sure Lulu was way younger than her. Well...should be interesting...perhaps they will use Leslie more also. You only see her like Audrey on special occasstions. They dust her off and stand her in a church or an emergency room!

I loved Lucky and Liz's wedding, but I hated that they would go from happy wedding scenes to angry Sonny/Ric and Jason/Sam scenes. Kind took away from the whole wedding tone IMO.

I liked the scene with Luke and LuLu today.

Sweeps are coming up and I hope it is as good as it sounds.

According to the website I read, December 2, 5, 6, and 7. They are trying to get him to stay longer.


Did anyone else notice they took Jennifer Bransford out of the opening sequence? I hope they rearrange the actors when they add NUCarly. Lucky and Liz should be by each other.

I was getting my hopes up a couple of weeks ago that the storyline was going to improve....but now with the Jax/Courtney thing....yes, Jax you are my baby's father, but I dont want to be with you....I am in love with Nic....That character falls in and out of love too quickly.... I wish they would put Jax and Court back together....Let Elizabeth and Lucky have a happy storyline, and Carly and Lorenzo steaming up the scene again....bugging the heck out of Sonny,,,,,but somehow I think it will be more of the getting together one week and breaking up the next....

Mikey has been in there for a week or two. I think they added him since he is now on contract.

I have been watching reruns of 90210 and Melrose Place on SoapNet.
So far I have seen Greg Vaughn and Rick Herst on 90210. And the guy who played Stefan Cassadine on Melrose Place. He played a Hollywood guy who wanted a hooker. Hope from DOOL is the Madame. LOL!

Leslie Lu was born in 1994 (should be 11)

Michael was born in 1997 (should be 8)

Brook Lyn was born in 1996 (should be 9)

Lucas was born in 1989 or 1990 (at most should be 16)

Maxie 1990 (should be 16)

Dillon 1992 (should be 13)

Morgan 2003 (should be 2)

I hate it when the SORAS kids on soaps. Dillon is only suppose to be 13, same with Georgie, you missed her date, but I think she was born 2 years after Maxie.
I wish they would of kept the real Felicia and Frisco, I hate it when the girls call Max their dad. (That would be a good story with Georgia and Maxie confronting their dad and dealing with Frisco.)

Luke & Laura divorced in 2001 when she went to be with Stefan Cassadine. They were going to remarry in 2002 when she had her "breakdown" so it never happened.
