Interesting thought on the "who's your daddy" story and you are probably right. Nothing is ever this simple when it comes to paternity on a soap!

You are right it wouldn't be the first time that they change the DNA results on General. Some hospital...people switch lab results...but hey look at the tunnel story..they were in there soooo long and rescue workers couldn't get in but crazy Carly and half the town were in and out the place several times!

Like when they brought back Rick Webber..Laura's dad...and he winds up being evil...and then she kills him so they can place her in the nut house indefinetly??
I don't mind the fact that they placed Laura in the nut house...(I mean she leaves for long periods..and then returns years later)...but did they have to TOTALLY rewrite history and make Rick this horrible person who had an affair..and Laura just happened to forget she murdered someone??Then she kills Rick? That was the MOST horrible exit story I'd ever seen.
If you haven't been watching the show some 25 years ago..you'd never have known the difference but if you watched back then....you know this just not the character Rick was.

omg!!! THAT IS SO TRUE!!! That was really horrible when they did that...that is one of the worst rewrites of history EVER!!!! What a terrible thing to do to a character....whoever did that should be shot!!!!


Okay...so I am a little behind.....I had 19 EPISODES!!! on the PVR...have been behind since our vacation...I have just watched 10 of them!!! lol...I am up to the train crash...and about 10-15 pages behind on this thread...thus this old post....

Oh I see there is a new story line today...Sonny was BETRAYED...! Can you imagine? I can't believe it...how could that happen.

that is just way too funny!!!! My husband said the same thing, when he saw me watching that one!!!! He used to watch it with me, but he got tired of the sameness when it came to alot of the characters...but he watched it with me for about 6 months...never thought he would watch it at all. He was like "everytime I see him on the screen, he is saying that someone betrayed him".....oh well...me still loves Sonny ...but wish they would add some diversity and depth to his lines...

yeppers...way back when Sonny found out that his right hand man, actually...omg....I have to say it....BETRAYED him....this time, uh...he really did....and he was in the cave with him, and ended up getting killed off...can't think of his name...one of the mob guys....long time trusted friend....was working I think with...oh crud...what's her name....she got blown up in the car??? The mob friend was working with her dad to ruin Sonny..I think that this was the beginning of all the...yes, I must say it one last time....

BETRAYAL!!!!

What are your thoughts on the new Carly? Her mouth bother's me when she speaks, but other than that - I don't have any opinions yet.

Keep in mind that nuCarly and Alcazar worked together and had great chemistry together on Loving....so that could be why, although for a month or two now...he has seemed like he could care LESS about Carly...now all of a sudden he has doubts and is breaking his neck to try and save her....is setting up the triangle again to see if lightening can strike twice...

Sonny forces Carly to face some harsh truths.

It was Harry Silver, I think. Yeah, he was really resentful about what happened to Lily, and that Sonny got back together with Brenda, that he was trying to kill them in the cave, but Harry died instead.

I think some of these spoilers have happened already.
Sam attacked..sort of smacked tracy off her chair in the police station...Carly visted ...(I love that!..she sneaks out of the nut house.) Sonny yesterday. The finances of Lucky and Liz...well that's just dumb..but Nicholas has offered to pay their first and second set of hospital bills.
Sonny set Carly straight..for the millionith time...
Robin spoke to Nicholas...last week about having feelings for Jason
Alexis told Ric in the tunnels she still loves him

They weren't really very eventful.. if you blinked you proabably missed them!

okay.....I am now down to 3 episodes left!!!!!! Yeah....started at 19, so very moocho mucho better!!!!

Ok...is it just me, or does it seem like nuCarly has TONS more presence and chemistry with Alcazar than Sonny?????? Don't get me wrong, I like the actress now, and I liked her on Loving. In fact, I didn't even think that she had that much with Jason ...of course she has had a lot of practice with Alcazar on Loving....but I kept thinking in the back of my mind every time I saw her and Sonny sharing scenes..."He's too old for her"....I mean I know he isn't...but for some reason that just kept popping in my head, and maybe their chemistry will grow on me (and on them)...just felt like it was already mostly seamless with Alcazar. I know they need that triangle..but maybe let Carly and Alcazar be the new super couple and find someone NEW for Sonny!!!!! There is, IMO, only so many times that you can regurgitate the Sonny/Carly relationship...UNLESS...it is with the original Carly, or Tamara Braun....


Also liking the nuLuuLuu, or LuLu...or however ya spells it!!!! She seems to have a little bit of acting chops on her!!! Reminds me of how good Dillon was kinda out of the box - funny thing is....Dillion will probably be 3 times her age one of these days!!!!!

I like the nululu... she reminds me of what Laura looked like when it was teen Laura/Scotty! showing my age!
Also she has SPUNK! like the spunk!.... she would give Dillon a thrill ride and maybe she will.

however.. do you think she might change her name? I mean to something having to do with her name "Leslie" I have never known a LuLu in my life.......

I heard they aren't putting Emily and Nikolas together yet or at all because it is akward between them since their real life breakup. The new LuLu has been on quite a bit. And it is just a coincidence that Kirsten Storms and Matt Marraccini they aren't together IRL.

I like LuLu, but she reminded me of someone and I couldn't figure it out unitl lastnight...Summer! Remember her? The blonde who was used to set up the Laura double with the light blue scarf to freak out Luke? She ended up with Lucky if I remember correctly and then killed off.

If only Helena would kill off Courtney! I think this whole Courtney/Nik/Jax triangle is ridiculous! As far as Tyler and Natalia breaking up, doesn't he always fall in love with one of his costars? i.e. Vanessa, Eva You would think he'd learn his lesson about dating/sleeping with coworkers! Maybe he needs Dr. Phil!

I kind of like the Nululu. I got a big chuckle when she left that note for Luke to "Go to H***!" The look on his face was priceless.

I love Helena/Constance Towers! I wish she was on more often! She is my all time favorite villain!

Okay, I don't read the Soap mags, so maybe this is old news, but standing in line at the grocery store I saw one of them (I think it was Soap Opera Weekly?). The cover said (in so many words) that Courtney is leaving, and the character of Nicholas is being recast. I don't think I've read any mention of it on this thread, so what do you think? Truth or rumor?

Alicia Leigh Willis is leaving and Tyler Christopher is only being recast for a short time - he broke his arm. Chris Beetem ex Jordan from As the World Turn will be playing Nikolas in the meantime.

It must've been one bad break for him to be re-cast! I've seen actors with casts and slings before that weren't part of the storyline.
