Where is everyone? Am I the only one still sitting on Hold?

Still waiting to hear from my TA. She e-mailed me at 9:30 and said she'd been trying to get through since 8am. She probably had to stop and leave for work and start over

We have Poly GV booked already for 9/13 - 9/18. Just want to add the free dining. Seems like most people went for the value resorts, so I hope I won't be left out if she takes all day to get through.

UUUUGGGHHH! I am aggravated!

Hey all -
Got through and got what we wanted - POR waterfront for the dates I needed!!! I'm sooooooooo excited - I feel like I won the lottery! Maybe my DH was right with his comment about "if it's supposed to be, it will work out" - lucky for him, it did - it would have been pretty ugly around here if it hadn't!

Here's hoping everyone gets what they want - don't give up - I read online earlier before I got through that the resort and dates I wanted were sold out but they weren't so keep trying

Now I just have to keep this trip a secret from my kids.....

Robin4, I'm in the same boat. I have to keep this a secret from my DD. It's getting harder seeing she's standing next to me. As I'm on HOLD. She keeps listening to the music. What is it w/ kids and having to hang on to you while your on the phone.

I got it!!!!!! Didn't get my first choice of ASMo but I did get standard view at POP..... ok, now will someone tell me why so many people last night were hoping for POP... this is my first trip and don't know a lot about these things other than what I read online

I know, kids are so funny! Are you making this trip for a special occasion? We're going for our DD 16th B-day - which is making it almost impossible to keep a secret as she thinks we're going to plan something special already. We're going in May for 10 days so I'm planning on telling her there is NO way we can go back that soon

I'm hoping you get exactly what you want for this trip - keep us posted.

I waited on hold for over an hour this morning to try to add free dining to my existing reservation. I finally got through to the nicest CM I have ever dealt with. Unfortunately, the free dining was unavailable for my dates for the room that I had reserved. So I added the dining plan anyway with the intent to pay for it. The CM checked four or five times during my 10-minute call, and it never became available. Oh well, it was worth the try.

Carsey...Thanks I have been to CHef Mick last year for dd birthday....loved it. WC on my list GG on my list I will look at Ohana, my friend also suggested it.

BTW Believe it or not I know someone that lives in Paris Ontario, she grew up here and now lives there. Also know someone from here that moved there and moved back here....LMAO!!!!

We love the location of the POP, the lake, the food court...PB and Marshmallow fluff sandwiches on tye dye bread, the theme of the whole resort is just our favorite. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do

I have our trip booked!!!!

I wasn't able to call until 8:30 EST, because I needed to get ready for work. I was on hold for about 45 minutes, then realized I could book on-line. Just as I was getting my confirmation number, a CM answered. She was wonderful and I forgot to get her name.

I told her I had just booked on-line, but I didn't see anywhere to add the free dining. She said she would add it for me. Then, her computer started locking up on her. She asked if she could have my information and said she would call back. She said it sounded like alot of other computers were going down, too. Apparently they were having alot of system problems. I wonder why?!

She called me back in less than 10 minutes and confirmed my hotel and dates and then told me she had added free dining!! I am soooo excited!! I have never stayed on-site before. This is a girls only trip. I am treating my mom and sister. Neither of them have ever been to Disney before. I have only been to the MK and part of Epcot. I can't wait, and I'm sure I will drive DM and DSis completely crazy before we get there!!

So, if you're staying at POP from 8/26-8/31 we may see you there!! We'll be the crazy women laughing hysterically from having too much fun!!

I seen a couple of people say that got Poly GV (our 1st choice). Haven't seen anything posted this morning about AKL or BC (2nd and 3rd choices). Anybody book those today?

But she was nice enough to transfer me over to Dining so I could make some ADR's and I got what I wanted there. Except for HDDR. It's closed Tues and Wed for the month of Sept. she said. And what's up w/ the new catergories?

Just may see you there..... my mom and I are going to be there from the 28th to the 1st... I will be the one limping and my mom will be the one driving the electric scooter, but we both will be enjoying FREEEEEE DINING!!!!!!
